Stopped in at 11 and they had stopped serving breakfast, so we split a BLT with potato salad and a bowl of fresh fruit. We sat on the back patio right along the river. Blackberry brambles climbing along the bank. The husband raved about the freshness of the fruit and the sandwich was delicious. We stopped in again to feed our teenage son after his 15 mile mountain bike ride and split a hot pastrami sandwich. The son child had a tri tip sandwich. Both were fantastic.Downieville is a dog friendly town, which was wonderful since we were only there for a day trip.

Wonderful hidden gem. Back patio right on the river. Great coffee. Try the scramble for breakfast. In the same building as Downieville outfitters. Your hostess Sabrina is friendly and a great source of local information. Greg can give you trail tips too while your here. Not to be missed!!

This is a solid small town diner! I’ve eaten breakfast here multiple times and I would definitely recommend it.I’ve had bagel bfast sammies and the burritos. The Lox tasted freshly smoked. I saw tri tip being smoked out on the patio for lunch, which looked amazing. The staff is busy and they seem a bit understaffed, par for the times. So be patient. Also don’t feel bad having to go ask if something is ready.

Love eating breakfast for lunch during my work week at the paper. The food is delicious, generous portions and the price point is spot on. I had lunch there today, a huge, delicious chicken sandwich and three adults ate a huge lunch for $40. Unheard of in these parts. A genuinely loving and fun atmosphere. Flavorful food bringing nostalgic vibes; like my grandma made it straight from her kitchen to the dinner table.❤️ And BTW, her holiday brunch in 2022 and the seasonal celebration was absolutely worth leaving the warmth of my house.💝💝💝💝✨️✨️✨️✨️

Whenever I camp at Wild Plum, I love stopping in Downieville. Love this little slice of heaven and their very filling breakfast burritos. Love the spiced sauce they use, tastes like pepper plant sauce. I enjoyed sitting back and people watching, hearing the regulars share their morning with the staff, see fellow out of towners enjoy the atmosphere. Best place to catch up on my device with WiFi, as cell service can be limited. No service up at Wild Plum.

Sabrina's food is amazing. I tend to get some kind of root salad or caprese salad bowl, and there's never a hesitation when I want to doctor it up with something like a salmon filet...or in the case of my friend, some tri-tip on top. In fact she's well-known for her tri-tip that is made on her smoker on her back patio. She's got breakfast burritos with eggs, potatoes, cheese and a meat and no-meat option. There are sandwiches, beverages (including beer & wine) and the icing on the cake, literally, a partnership with Autumn's Butter Me Up Bakery (go look that up on Facebook) where you'll find home-baked-in-Downieville sweets that are amazing.Oh, and coffee...all the kinds. Plus some grab and go food items in the refrigerator case. I've been here...I don't know...a hundred times? And I've always found something to eat, even being the pesky pescatarian that I am. Mostly because Sabrina makes sure she gets me fed. She is incredibly kind and just an amazing people person. The best kept secret? The back patio that has tables and is right on the river. It's truly magical. It might just be you and your coffee...or it might be full of people. They also host events there and when it fills up and the band kicks in, it's fantastic.Sabrina's is on one side of the space and Downieville Outfitters are on the other side. So don't be afraid to walk in. Both sets of employees are super friendly and will help you get what you need. Do give yourself a little extra time, though...there may be a bit of a wait for your homemade grub...but it will be worth it, I promise!

Super cool spot. Stopped here for breakfast after offroading nearby and I'm so glad we did. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. It's a neat little place with just a few tables and a bar but the food is legit. I had the scramble and it was easily the best scramble I've ever had. My buddy had the breakfast burrito and said it was just as good. Unlimited drip coffee if you eat in. Great place to visit if you're looking to fuel up before a ride or to refill after a day out. I'm totally coming back.

After spending the night in Downieville, we needed a jolt of caffeine to wake us up in the morning and something in our stomachs for the drive back home. Sabrina's At The Forks was one of two establishments open for breakfast and of the two, Sabrina's had the a fuller menu offering for actual breakfast (and lunch) food.We actually visited twice, once for the initial caffeine dose and then again a bit later as a whole group for the food (and more caffeine). The staff here is very friendly and was very patient with us as we ordered our food. We opted to eat on the outdoor patio, which has a wide open counter style area for viewing the river. The food was delicious and the caffeinated drinks made fresh. This is definitely one of the places that you need to visit if you're in Downieville.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options in the menu.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming and patient with kids.

Must stop restaurant in downieville! Sabrina has artfully created a fantastic menu from carefully curated ingredients. The sandwiches are perfect. We love to pair shuttle runs from Downieville Outfitters with an amazing lunch at Sabrina’s. It’s so good I haven’t gotten photos before finishing the whole plate. Great food and service from kind people! We hope to come back annually for years to come!

Sabrina’s is a favorite restaurant for my whole family in Downieville. My daughter loves their scones and yogurt parfait. The chef was flexible and catered to my vegetarian daughter’s needs for lunch too (it’s mostly meat)! I love their breakfast scramble. Super solid food and business in this great town.

I had the TBA (as I always do after a morning shuttle run) and it was absolutely fantastic (as per usual). Highly recommend stopping in!
