Got me in the day I called. Seemed to do.a decent job and my old man doesn't seemed scared by the outing. Might have felt rushed by me showing up around the time she said she would call. So should of been a little more detailed and didn't get blown off. So hair was blowing around the car. Will go back again if the better half likes it. Lol and didn't cut those big ears!

Have been coming here every so often for about 7 years. And every time I come they always do an amazing job! I have 3 cats it started with one and grew to three and they always do amazing they are animal whisperers I swear 😄 can’t wait to go back again!

First off let me start by saying this place is horrible. Do not I repeat do not bring your pets here. They were extremely rude off the bat. Secondly they overcharged for a simple shave to which I didn't ask for now I have to spend more than the hundreds to what I already did to get supplements to aid hair growth.

Great place. Clean and very efficient work they do with my trouble maker. They have all the positive in the world with him even though he barks from the moment i drop him off until i pick him up. But they are so nice and caring with him and making look really good every time.

Appointment are easy to me. She works good and fast which I love, she always takes care of my pets and my cat as well. Totally recommend this place.

We all know our pets, they are family. We have three Yorkies. This was not the first time they were groomed there, but it will be the last. Our little girl went in just fine. Then we picked her up and carried her to the car. When we got home we notice a limp. We didn’t panic thought maybe her leg had fallen asleep. Clearly the limp wasn’t going away. It was after they were closed. We tried texting them. By noon the next day no response. So we went. Sure enough we only met up we them being totally defensive and denying any incident. Starting with “we are honest and tell our customers everything”. That maybe truth, but it comes under suspicion when our text had “Urgency” all over it. Their comment to us “we were going to call you after work today”. That doesn’t show the urgency we had “requested in our text. Makes you wonder how important are your customers or might you just want to brush off and hope it ends there. The body jesters and demeanor would tell you something different. Accidents do happen some things occur that “you” don’t mean. We do believe there was more to the story that they knew.Should you choose to bring your babies here, be aware they might be put in a harmful atmosphere. Thank you for reading Hector Z.

I’ve always had a good experience coming to CattsnDoggs. The staff are friendly, professional and work in good faith. They have advised me when my dog did/didnt have fleas……provided flea dip when needed

My mom took my dog with long nails to get it trimmed and for a hair cut. She saw how she beat him and pulled on his tail. Never listened to what we want but we still go. Be careful where you go. I wouldn’t recommend. I recommend for someone there to be trained in the fact dogs will have fear. It’s not their fault to be scared

Don!t go to this place. Saw one of the workers hit a cage a dog was in to shut it up from barking. Then gave my aunts dog back to me with a cut on her paw. She's bleeding a lot. Just by the lady hitting the cage tells me they might abuse the animals. The lady even picked up the dog by the neck. Its not a cat!!Dont go here!!

A hundred bucks for a bad uneven haircut and my dogs under the paws weren't trimmed plus there were 2 spots the machine cut too deep leaving hairless patches...it was a quick 5 minute hack job im very unhappy with the results and won't be going back.

I always take my little Coco here. They always give her the best grooming and I'm always trusting they'll take good care of her. I love that after when she waits to be picked up, they'll have her in a little social area with other dogs. And after each grooming they'll always put the cutest bows in her hair! Differently bring your four legged friends here!

My Yorkshire Terrier is no stranger to grooming salons, so I don't worry too much about how she is going to behave while being groomed. Her old groomer told me on more than one occasion that they had to wake her up during the process because she is that much if a pro at the grooming game.Whai I DO worry about is how my baby is treated wherever I take her, especially if I have to leave her. She's my baby & deserves the best I can afford to give her.Her old groomer moved away & we recently moved to Downey, so it was time to find a new place for her "spa days." I had tried a mobile groomer, (I am disabled & don't get around easily) but was really unhappy with the service...it took weeks to get an appointment, their van was not clean & at over $100 (incl a $10 new client discount) for a 12# dog who's coat was in excellent shape (long, but zero mats or tangles), it was in no way worth what I paid, even considering the convenience of not having to leave. our home.Long story short, I found Catts & Doggs via a Google search. I was impressed with the reviews. There was a 50% discount for new clients, so I decided to try them. I called on a Sunday...yes, they're open Sundays. Explained my dog & what I wanted done & was quoted a first visit price of $25, plus $5 to brush her teeth. I do that normally anyway, but for $5, I said to do it. I was in shock. In the 5 years I've had my dog, I have never paid less thsn $40-$45 for a full groom.We were given an appointment 3 days (not weeks) later. When we arrived, I noticed that parking was going to be an issue. There are disabled spots (I need to be able to get my car door open fully because of my prosthetic left leg) but all the spots...disabled & regular were filled. Had to drive around the block a couple of times before even a regular spot at the opposite end of the lot became available. I almost left, but realized its not the businesses fault, so I sucked it up & walked. I'm glad I did. We were treated like long lost friends. The owner got down on the floor on my dog's level (a sign of someone who understands dog behavior) They were instant buddies. Explained again what I wanted done & was told they would call me when she was ready to go home in 2-3 hours. I got the call just under 2 hours & went back to fetch my dog. Had the same issue with parking, so I think this must be an everyday occurrence, but my spot WAS a bit closer this time. Picked my dog up, who was very happy to see me. I almost didn't recognize her, because my instructions were to cut her body hair short, like a puppy cut. They had shaved her body as short as possible, leaving the hair on her head & tail a bit longer as I requested. At first, I wasn't too pleased by how short her hair was, but it was so silky & soft it kind of started to grow on me, lol. The combination of short hair on her body & long hair on her head made my pupper look like a Yorkie bobble head. When my roommate saw her later she was amazed by how stinking cute the dog looked & pointed out that with her hair being that short, it would be much easier to take care of between visits & she wouldn't have to go back as soon. She was right. Plus, the buzzed hair has been a blessing in this awful heat. So, we found her new groomer. Calling as soon as they open later this morning to make another appointment. Do not hesitate to bring your dog here. They do a great job at a fair price, although I will say, the decor was pretty bare bones and from what I was able to see of the grooming area, it was more of the same...a few cages, a couple of grooming tables, etc. It didn't look real posh, but it also didn't look like a filthy torture chamber, either. It's fine for a couple of hours...your animal isn't staying overnight. They did such a good job at a fair price, it was worth it. Besides, my baby came home happy, healthy & so stinking adorable, it would have been well worth it at a much higher price.

My Pomeranian has special needs and was desperately in need of a grooming. I normally get him groomed once a month, but I had traveled and moved around so much, he was overdue. The lady was very accommodating and did an amazing job at a really good price!

Took my golden doodle "Milo" for grooming and was very pleased with their service and pricing. Will continue taking him there for sure. His groomer was great she was patient and caring. Really recommend

I went there 2 times to get my dogs nails cut the first time there was blood when she was doneSo when I whet back I said don’t cut them so short so they won’t bleed but sure enough some of the dogs nails start bleeding

I took my golden retriever here and they gave her a poodle haircut. They shaved all her feathers off. I gave them instrunctions on what i wanted amd it was the total opposite. I would not recommend taking your golden here.

Always been able to walk in early Saturday mornings with no appointments needed. Call ahead to be sure though. My fur baby comes out lookin so fresh and so clean clean

Nice grooming but a little expensive so my dog had fleas from 40 dollars to 35 more don't no what is the treatment they use shampoo but if your dog has fleas I guess don't groom your dogs if you don't get the fleas service also 😉

This place is the best i had taken my dog to a previous grooming in bell gardens they charge $60 only to give fleas to my dog and my dog suffered so much with the fleas when i found cattsndoggs i gave it a chance best decision i have ever made when i walk into this story this very nice lady which i think is the owner welcomes me and she seems worried about my dog give her a flea treament and grooming of course and fleas where gone forever is been 2 years i wouldn't take my dog anywhere else i highly recommended cattsndoggs in Downey

Heyy ! So I took Buddy to Dr. Thomas office and sure enough they told me that the grooming place used chloroform on HIM!!!!!Be careful alert this people are awful I have Video how buddy was acting after being pick up from groomers
