*sigh* I’ve been going back and forth on whether or not to review this place. What if Solano County’s best kept secret blows up because of my review and everyone starts out bidding me on their weekend auctions?! But alas, Jesus wants me to spread the good news about Him (He’s real and loves you) and probably about this place too. He wouldn’t want me to be selfish and keep The Discount Store / Charity Shop Wholesale to myself.The best purchase I made here was probably an exercise bike. I looked it up online and brand new it would have been over $500! Miracles of miracles no one bid on it and I got it for $75! The only thing wrong with it was the cup holder was missing. I also got a toilet which normally costs over $300 for around $100, a brand new corner bookcase for about $18, man, 4’ wire shelves for around $40 (that auction got heated!)I’ve bought a lot there at the actual brick and mortar location as well and have saved a ton on things like a baby high chair (yes we are expecting and are very excited), a ceiling fan, bathroom lights, etc.So there you have it. Drop on by or sign up for their auction. But if you ever see them list a Rubbermaid generator storage shed, don’t bid on it. I need and at this point, you kinda owe me one.

Interesting shop. We drove up from Lodi to have a look. They had an interesting variety of items and everything is well organized and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we lived closer we might check it out regularly just to see what's new.

Before you pick up the auction item that you won, make sure to double check they are giving you the correct item! I've been a regular customer for auction and was always happy with their service. But this past week, they mixed up my item and ended up giving me a wrong item. I went home and realized they had given me a wrong item, so I called to let the store know and I drove back to the store and returned the wrong item that they gave me and the manager explained that a different customer had picked up my item the day before. The entire time I was talking with her to figure out how and where my item went, the manager was extremely rude. She said the other customer who took my item will return it at the end of the day, so I waited all day for her call but nothing. So the next day, I waited and finally called her to get an update and the manager said she called the customer in the morning and the other customer will return it during her lunch at work. So, I waited and next day passed by. Still no call, no update. So I called again and the manager said the customer gave my item to her niece who will drop it off. Next day passed by and still no call, no update. So after waiting 4 days and extremely unhappy with the service I received from the manager, I went to the store and got my refund. Extremely unhappy with how the manager handled this situation. She could have communicated better. I wish she had called me to give me an update after talking to other customer who took my item, but each day she never called me and when I called her to get an update about the situation, she always answered with an attitude. The front desk lady told me that this is not their first time giving customer wrong auction item. She said it has happened multiple times previously. I understand that people make mistakes, but why are they not trying to find a solution to prevent this? Don't go through what I went through. Make sure to double check when picking up your auction item that they are giving you the correct box!

I could give them minus ten I would. If used toyi be a good place when the had the bins for $1, $5 and sold whole pallets but they got GREEDY and sell everything full price. It's all discontinued and returned merchandise. Now that store sucks!!!!

I've had nothing but good experiences with this store. From purchasing some furniture pieces all the way down to just little decorative items I literally had just seen on the shelves at Target/Walmart/Costco/Home Depot. They have some amazing discounted items all because department stores are overstocked. I've also had really good experiences with the live auction with items being even more discounted because you are bidding what you actually want to pay for something. The staff are always friendly and helpful and even if I go to the store to just "look around" I always find a deal I can't pass up. Two words of advice: #1 sign up for text alerts because they let you know when they have new shipments and #2 if you see something you like GET IT because there is no guarantee that it will be there if you come back and they may not ever get it restocked.

When you walk into the store the workers great you with a welcoming smile and hello welcome in. The workers are very helpful and nice. They ask if you need any help. Really like the deals. I bought one light to see if it looked good in my kitchen and had to go back to get more for my other areas.

If you want affordable items shop here! The employees are so nice, the store is always clean! They have so much stuff from furniture, toys, clothes and etc. This is my go to every time i need something!

The workers at this store are always so helpful and kind! They have great finds. I try to pop in every few weeks. A lot of times they have the same items that are currently out at the stores for half the price.

I have had purchased a couple of things from them, I bought two king mattresses two years ago, then I went back and bought a humidifier for almost half of the original price, then a changing table, then my daughter bought a living room set, and yesterday me and my daughter went to buy some diapers and some other stuff. Every time we go is a pretty good experience.Very satisfied with my purchases and excellent customer service 👍🏼

Definitely different than when it 1st opened, definitely not as busy. Small baskets to shop, prices are pretty close on most things as they would be from a major retailer. They offer only text or email options for a receipt.Research items, you will see a minimal savings.Clean and organized.

The item I thought I was buying was marked wrong they put the wrong tag on it. I bought a dog crate which suppose to be a double door and marked a double door. When it was a single door crate. No returns 😢

I have passed this store so many times while in Dixon and finally went in today. Found a case of diapers 172 ct. for $24.00 could not believe it. Well organized and great deals for unopened items. Very happy with my purchase and will be returning .

Used their auction and won two Amazon pallets, NEVER AGAIN. Paid 650 for nothing but junk . Literally junk. Everything was either broken, heavily used or not usable items, 10 boxes were air filters another 10 boxes were of Literally bags ..... these pallets aren't even worth $50. I'm so disappointed

It's great to have a bargain store in Dixon. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Well organized for the nature of the store. I really wish they had a return policy even if it was only for store credit. It makes it a real gamble to buy items for my family at home.

These guys always stock fresh inventory. 40% off retail prices for new in box stuff! Constantly reorganizing to keep a fresh feel to their store. They even have online auctions!. (I go here a lot).
