My advice is to always check your receipt before leaving the store. The prices on the Safeway app and in the store are not the same. You do not get the sale price. If you scan the item in the store, that digital coupon does not show up on checkout. If it does, it’s not the correct price. However, the cashiers are good about making adjustments. Safeway doesn’t stand by their advertising. It’s dishonest and deceptive. Their app needs work! It’s a joke!

You can pick up just about everything you could need. They are a little pricier but have great customer service and ordering online to pick up at the store is super convenient, especially if you hate waiting in line.

Good clean place, helpful staff, never a long line to check out. Always a pleasure visiting this store. Not to mention the prices when you are a Safeway Club member, ( which anyone is able to join, too simple!). I LOVE THIS STORE! Definitely worth the stop, whether you need something or not. Almost forgot to mention that the lottery ticket machine shoots me out a winner EVERY TIME! Always coming up on that wonderful machine!! TRY IT!!

The checkers are always courteous and the store is always clean, but their prices are just too high. On average if I had to guess atheist 20% when inflation is kicking us in the teeth they need to be more cognizant of the fact other places are significantly less for the same exact products.

The great points, everyone here is super friendly! This store is super convenient! Furthermore the produce department always has stock and it's typically very fresh. Where this store falls off is the meat department and the deli/boars head department. It seems more often than not the meat that I purchase is very close to spoiling. A day in the refrigerator should not make meat pungent especially when it's nowhere near it's pull date. Also to no fault other than my own and not checking the pull date before I put it in my cart, I find chicken past the pull date, or pork past the pull date. The same goes for the deli I have purchased cheese (cubed) or wedge cheese, again spoiled both pre-pull date and post pull date. I would love this store I just hate that I need to check pull dates on EVERYTHING I purchase here. Literally every other store I could go to does not have this problem.

Paul and Todd in Deli are amazing employees with great potential really help and attentive. Took great care of needs of a customer and followed through. Upon just looking at them work in the back they are hard workers please give them a raise a bonus anything that would help them through their employment with Safeway great care thank you.

It's very clean and, at the time of my visit, both the Safeway store and fueling station were not crowded; the same can be said for all of the businesses in this shopping center, inasmuch as I observed. Parking was excellent and it couldn't have been easier to get a decent spot right in front of the store and that's enough to make some of us happy when we just need to "pop in" briefly to pick up a few items or less.

Always open, employees are sweet, awesome and friendly. It's open 24 hours. My favorite store!But boar head chicken was disgusting and Mac salad taste like it was in a fridge without a lid, flipping gross , never buy food at boars. Waste of money, staff is helpful. But food is a one star or zero.

How do you rate Safeway? Well to start, it's about the employees. This Safeway is the best in town for sure, why? The employees know and perform their work well. In some people's case, at this particular store, very long track record of doing even better than well. People, community, go here enough and the truth of my words will ring true. Other than that, another mid sized Safeway.

Was my favorite place to go at night after work. But now staff is rude and seem to hate their job. Shame...They comment below is kinda proof of how they act? Fake. And gas lighting , cause staff looked annoyed we came in late. No smile , can't hear them and seemed super over their job. I bet Safeway is making them miserable. (Like Walmart)

It's to expensive. The employees are just okay sometime. Also, some customers have a sense of entitlement, just rude. However, there is a worker named Stephanie, absolutely wonderful. I have lived in San Ramon for almost 10 years. At SAFEWAY, on Bollinger, I always feel like I am going to visit family. For, the exception for MICHELLE, the store manager. She always has a mean look on her face and her attitude SUCKS. HOWEVER, ALEX & GINA (she is no longer there)😢, THEY ARE THE ULTIMATE GEMS THAT ANY COMPANY COULD ASK FOR. THEY ARE THE REASON MY FAMILY AND I STAYED IN THE AREA. ALSO, THE PHARMACY at SAFEWAY on Bollinger, is a great big breath of Fresh OXYGENATED AIR FOR THE SOUL.

Open 24 hours clean safe depending on the time you go there is also gas station McDonald's pizza post office smoke shop in same parking lot. If your heading twords Stockton on Hwy 4 river road it is also last place to get gas or anything until you get into Stockton ... This is unincorporated contra Costa county area ...

Good Safeway store. Just don't expect too much help finding what you want during early morning hours. During the early morning hours they are running on a "skeleton crew" staff and are short handed. Otherwise it's a really good store.

I've been really excited about the way the floral dept. has truly transformed into an alluring, very attractive area!! It's a joy to walk in/by, see and smell the beautiful flowers, arrangements, plants and candles. Good selection of accessories too. Met Araceli, the new Floral Manager, very delightful, educated person. A breath a fresh air the dept. needed!!

I came in for a deli sandwich. The new Boar's Head stuff is pretty good, although I noticed that the prices of the sandwiches are higher and the quantity that you get is smaller. Over all the stores prices are average and there are usually some pretty good deals if you're a club card member. The Highlight is the meat and seafood section, very good selection of moderately priced fresh seafood. And being able to get a particular steak cut to the thickness that I want is always awesome. The staff is also very friendly

Nice to know they have lots of mediterranean food now such as tsaziki dip, babaganoush, tasty moist garlic naan. They also offer a wonderful variety of brie cheeses. Their deli is always fresh, friendly and quick too.

This is a very neat and organized grocery store. They have alot of inventory and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone

Safeway is great, IF you're a Club Member, because then you get all "Safeway Club member deals" but even then they're still on the high end of the prices scale, definitely when compared to other places like Winco or Foodmaxx. Especially their meats.

When a DB Safeway employee attempted to stop someone from stealing a cart full of groceries (approximately $600) the store suspended her for trying to do the right thing. Please do not support this type of behavior. We the people be up paying with higher prices, not Safeway. And the employee (and mom) got suspended just before the holidays.Shame on you Safeway!

This harbor is going through improvements daily, none to soon. It has lots of potential and their new harbor master is working towards improving the overall of this marina. There is major construction going on on Bethel Island Rd. So with that happening there seems to be a push for upgrading the local areas, as well. There selling new homes at an outrageous prices within a few miles from the island and lm a sure the new home buyers will want to head to the delta and Sunset Harbor and Marina being the closest, they are trying to make it more appealing. Hurray to that it needed it, most all the old marinas up on the delta need renovating. It use to be quite the place to be, going from one Marina to another, having lunch, dinner or cocktails along the way. With all the money they are spending on houses, boats and skiing equipment, they want to have a safe place to store and launch their boat from. Sunset Marina is getting prepared to accomadate them. Perhaps the idea will catch on an more marinas will do the same and the delta can rise again. Hurray hurray!!!

The employees here are wonderful. Under staffed a lot but they make the best of it. Liquor was very empty. Should have stocked overnight since this is one if the busiest times for this location. The gentlemen in charge of that area is very granky and doesn't act like he works there. Lol

Considering this is the main store for a large area, it does not have as much variety as you'd hope for in a Safeway. Perhaps the smaller population warrants fewer products and fewer sizes, but it can be troublesome not finding what you are looking for.Also, they do not carry any infant care in store other than diapers and formula. If you need infant pain relief (or any infant care medication), just go next door to the CVS. They may have planned that on purpose but i personally don't enjoy having to shop multiple places for my list.Other than those qualms, it is a clean store with helpful staff and reasonable prices.
