They hire ppl without doing a background check and every vet shouldBe sure that when they hire a vet tech that is a breeder and boards dogs that they don’t have local negative reports with the local animal control! And the aspca They don’t care that’s for sure because I called and she still works for them and nobody called me for photos. I find it disgusting that such a person handles dogs in a he community on a daily basis. Is this no different then a child abuser working in a daycare?

My purebred giant rat terrier (35lb)was struggling with foxtails down deep in his ears. Anyway that's what I suspected. The doctor got those things out in like 10 seconds. Thank you so much Dr. Thank you so much staff you guys were all so friendly and so nice and I know it's not something you do all the time but you squeeze me in at the last minute on my day off. Your whole office is so clean and welcoming and very handy to be right next to the feed store so Turbo could get some treats right after his Veterinary experience LOL

I called Crossroads, to see how much it would it cost to have? My dog tested for Lyme disease. They would not give me a price quote over the phone. They told me I had to come in and pay them sixty dollars for them to give me a price Quote. After their little exam they wrote me out a price quote for $1021.00.What a waste of time.

I would recommend them for their compassion and professionalism, but be aware of the fees.First off, all the staff were very compassionate as we had to put our little girl down. A Shitzu/Yorkie, she was only 9lbs by that day and 17.5 years old, but she had a great life. I am very grateful to them for that. However, I am not happy about the $60 exam fee I was charged (in addition to the $406 euthanasia/cremation charge). When I went to pick up her ashes, I tried to dispute the $60 fee (I was in no shape to do so the day we put her down), I was told the fee must stand. When I had called to ask if I could bring our girl in to be put down, they said yes, but they would have to do a "quality of life exam". I of course said, 'OK whatever you have to do".When we arrived, a tech asked why we thought she had to be put down and what had been going on the last few days and she took some notes. The Doc then came in and explained how the process would go. Before she was leaving the room, I asked "don't you have to do an exam?" She looked at me kinda funny and said she'd check her heart before and after applying the drugs. So no exam was done.Upon my dispute, I was told because they had not seen our little girl before, they reserved the right to say no to the euthanasia and that was what the $60 fee was for. Basically, an 'OK to euthanize fee'.This is crazy and not right by me. If an exam was needed/done - OK charge the fee. No exam - no fee in my book. This seems to me for $ only.

We took Cooper to Crossroads vet clinic and they found a peach pit in his stomach. When they pulled it out they said it looks like it has been in there for a while. We’ll just tonight he was playing!! And if you knew this dog before his surgery you would say he’s just an old grumpy dog. But now he acts his age (he’s 7). Wants to run more play more and he smiles all the time now. Thank you so much crossroads vet clinic. Be ready to see him again for his teeth and his sisters teeth as well.

I'm so glad to find this veterinary hospital. It's a distance from me, but worth the trip. The veterinary spent time with my dog and diagnosed the problem immediately. The extra treatment and tests done while I was there didn't seem unnecessary. The staff were kind, friendly and pleasant from the time I made the initial appointment to when I checked out. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a wonderful place to care for your animal. Thank you Crossroads! You are the best and I'm thankful I found you!

Everyone at Crossroads Veterinary Hospital has been so good to work with. My older dog has had a few issues since we made the long move to California. Their concern and obvious skill shines through at every visit. Very deserving of 5 stars.

Called and got an appointment within the hour for my 7 year old baby with an eye infection. Dr. Kostecki took such good care of the situation, checked for any damage and gave him eye drops that already seem to be working and at an affordable price. Really clean office with friendly helpful staff that let my 4 year old son trick or trick being Halloween time and watch the whole process. Definitely will be returning if need be.

My first experience was great. I made an appt for my cat the following weekend and showed up to no one there. The office was closed and no one called to tell me.

I have used this clinic since 2017 really great service. They have cared for all my pets at different times over the years. Currently they are treating my little silky that is 16 years old facing breast cancer treatment. The Alternative medicine holistic approach weekend vet is really great and all the staff very attentive.

Great experience. Our usual vet couldn't fit us in and referred us to Crossroads. They were able to get us in. Long story short: 2 feline, one 15 year old and one 11 week old, feeling much better. Thank you for your care.

I'm generally happy with the services I receive at Crossroads Veterinarian. They have 3 Veterinarians that work different days of the week. I have now seen all 3 and have found them all to be competent, professional and courteous. Most of the time I have had a moderate wait time past my appointment time to be seen. Occasionally I have gotten right in and on a couple occasions the wait has been more than 30 minutes. The staff is very friendly. The waiting room is large and clean. A small section of the wait room has been sectioned off for frightened visitors. The fees seem pretty standard for Veterinarian services. The business is located in a single strip of businesses in the small town of Diamond Springs. There is always plenty of parking and an area behind the business to take your dog to relieve themself.

Reasonably priced, friendly, and quick. We were able to call in and get same day appointments 2 days in a row to get family's dogs up to date on their shots.

Lobby clean and exam rooms are spotless. I forgot the name of the staff member who stayed with me during my dog last moments, i really really appreciated. I recommend this place.

Terrific staff! Professional, friendly, and loving towards all the animals who come in. Also, they always have appointments available for urgent needs that pop up. I used to live in the area but I now drive an hour to take my pets here because of how great they are. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Our dog Chloe is an extremely skittish, nervous dog and everyone (reception, technician, doctor) helped her to have a great first experience during a wellness/ vaccine appt. They were even accommodating for me to bring her back the next day because she wasn't feeling well. Thank you.

Our almost 15 year old Bichon had to be put down today. We are new to the area and Crossroads Vet was popular on our Next door app. Marissa was so nice and caring with me when I called this morning. She got us in at 4:00 PM. Kaitlyn the vet tech should have been the vet. She connected with our dying dog in a way I can't explain. Kaitlyn was so in touch with our high emotions and our dear old dog. This was one of the hardest days of our lives but Kaitlyn made it feel more comfortable especially for our dear Marilyn. Bless her dear soul. I can't say enough about Kaitlyn's beautiful soul.

Took my 12 yo Golden in, thinking I would need to let him go. Doc and staff were so wonderful. Meds and rest and he is back to his old self. Cannot recommend this Vet enough. Wonderful, clean and beyond friendly.

Dr. Ric and staff were wonderful with our kitty Jasper. He was very sick, and they did all they could for him, keeping us informed every step of the way. We ended up putting him to sleep, and the staff was very kind. I will definitely recommend them to others! Sheri Jenkins

I just feel the vet was not very friendly to our dogs. We have a dog who is, apparently, aggressive towards strangers. The vet acted very afraid and hesitant (we were at least expecting her to be confident and know how to handle a frightened dog but it was the exact opposite, he read her like a book and was acting worse), didn't let us go into a private room so she had us in the lobby wrestling him just for an ortho exam. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only experience that did not go well with this vet. They told us to give our dog trazodone for his nervousness but accidentally prescribed him tramadol. It didn't phase him and we were forced to bring him back another day. Through all the trauma and mistakes his issue was never resolved and we must take him to another vet. Hopefully this one will listen to us about his aggression and how to handle it.

Crossroads has been my Vet for years up until recently. Nothing bad happened, I just found a closer Vet. The medicine is great and Dr. Ric is awesome. Some of the other staff are hit or miss. They have coffee in the lobby which is a nice touch. The waiting room is nice and open so if your dog is shy or reactive there's usually a place you can sit.

I had brought in my neices cat and just recently, my own cat. Everyone has been very caring, the medical care is explained very clearly and the xrays and bloodwork are done very efficiently. Good job.

I like this place but the service is very slow. I had called in an medication order a few hours ago and went to pick it up. Waited 20 mins and it wasent even filled yet. Besides being slow the staff was nice. They don't wair masks in there incase anyone is wondering. I didn't see anyone wairing them. There is a sign saying it's required but no one is wairing them.
