The entire was staff was so kind helpful and friendly. Took great care of Luna. I felt very well informed of each step of the way. they were able to give him the best help and care he required. although the cost of everything was quite high but that was due to the emergency surgery, medications, exams etc. as I had no insurance I was happy with the service, follow up and care they provided me with before during and after our visits. This is a great place to ensure that your animal is in the best qualified hands. Thank you all for all you have done, we appreciate you!

Dr Kumar has been our vet over the years. He knows my dog very well and wouldn’t push for a bunch of test as she gets older. Often came out to the car to hi to make sure there’s really a need to go inside due to her advanced age. When she got cancer he called during my many specialists visits to give advise and support. And when she eventually passed away he called to inquire and reminisce what a good dog my girl was. I love my dog so much and he’s along with the journey for that I will always be thankful.It’s the type of compassion you want from a vet. Highly recommended

I am so excited about the opening of Grand Animal Hospital! Dr. Kumar is an excellent veterinarian. When my dog has an ailment he takes the time to patiently answer all of my questions, and also thoroughly explain all of our options. He gives his professional opinion but never pushes us into a treatment we do not want. He gives us the space to decide our next course of action and then always does his very best to treat our dog and his symptoms. I highly recommend this clinic!

We have been so pleased with our experience with Dr. Kumar and his team at Grand Animal Hospital. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always professional. Dr. Kumar is highly knowledgeable , patient, and has the ability to put not only the pet at ease but even their parents. We are so happy that such a place exists to care for our fur baby! I cannot recommend Grand Animal Hospital enough - I assure you that your precious pet will be in amazing and capable hands!

Finally found a wonderful vet in Diamond Bar! So nice, caring, and knowledgeable! Been looking for a vet rather than a corporation. Dr. Cho was really, really good factfinding and explaining everything well. They were reasonably priced and did not recommend unnecessary procedures that many try to do. So relaxing to know I have a reliable vet in town again! On a side note, I was shocked to learn that companies pay to have all the negative reviews taken down so the consumer can't rely on reviews and stars anymore. So highly recommend yelp as they do not allow the companies to rig the system that way.

My partner and I took our aging dog to them last week, and we knew she didn't have much time left. The dignity and respect Dr. Vasquez and her staff displayed not only to us, but also to our dog in her final moments is something we'll always be thankful for. We're going to pick up her ashes today, but we'll be bringing our new cat to them soon for an checkup. We've found our vet for sure!

Dr. Kumar was knowledgeable and explained the test choices of my cat at a non-intimate manner. He was honest about the pros and cons of a choice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Do not bring your pets here!! They only care about one thing MONEY. They quoted me at $2000 but I left because I didn't like the way they were dealing with me. I took my cat to another vet and they said none of what Grand Animal Hospital wanted to do was necessary. I only paid $400 at the other clinic. They have poor communication skills too. I asked simple questions and never got a straight forward answer. None of the staff is on the same page. One vet tech told me one thing and the doctor told me something else. They are only interested in making the most money and they get away with it because we love our furry friends but do yourself a favor and do not go to this vet!!

My parents who live in Diamond Bar have been telling me for a while that there is a new animal hospital opening up in the Walmart shopping center. They have a 10 year old small pomeranian who wasn't eating and was vomiting for a couple of days. We happened to notice that they were finally open and took him in. We are so glad we did. Dr. Kumar took the time to explain to us the different causes of not eating and vomiting. We then decided to get some bloodwork and xrays done and it turns out our dog had pancreatitis. He ended staying overnight on IV fluids with a series of injections. We just picked him up and he has a lot more energy. They also said he did well and has started having an appetite again.We have had a lot of dogs in our family and typically took them to a hospital in Chino Hills after trying out the hospitals in our area. Will be switching to this beautiful hospital that thankfully is local. Martini is recovering and has been given a second chance at life and is on a low fat diet. Thanks again to Dr. Kumar and staff!

We came to this place with a dilemma, our dog Sweetie had been declining for a month and we arrived here knowing that she was going to have to go, but we didn't know how to go about it. Luckily for us, Dr Vasquez and her staff explained to us that Sweetie is best served going sooner rather than later- this really hurt, but we knew this had to be done, and this staff sent Sweetie to the Rainbow Bridge with the best humanity and grace that we could possibly want. Seeing our baby girl dog go down hurt badly, but this team demonstrated humanity towards us- and as a result, we're coming back with our new cat Molesley- because if they are great in delivering the tough news, they'll be there with us in making our new furbaby be the best they can!

The team of pet care professionals here is awesome! Our sick kitty got an appointment immediately, and life-saving surgery quickly followed. Caring and professional every step of the way, they even call to check in on our kitty's recovery now that she is at home. I highly recommend Grand Animal Hospital!But I also advise all kitty owners to get rid of all their hair ties! Our kitty ate one that wouldn't pass and it almost killed her. It's that doughnut shaped thing in the x-ray. We are so grateful to Dr. Dhillon and team for saving our little Catatonia's life.

I've been living in Diamond Bar for the past 25 years and have taken all my pets to a hospital in Chino Hills because I wasn't happy with the care locally. My nine year old cat was not eating for more than a day and my regular vet couldn't see me for three days. I ended up going to this hospital after a friend recommended them. My cat was diagnosed with kidney issues and was hospitalized for three days. He's now back to himself and happy as ever. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will be switching here.

I brought my two cats, Izzy and Roscoe, to Grand Animal Hospital, Diamond Bar, to receive their vaccinations and get their checkups. The hospital is brand new and looks amazing. The receptionist was very nice and engaging. I didn't have to wait long at all for Dr. Kumar to come into the exam room, and when he did, he greeted me and introduced himself to Izzy and Roscoe. I'm a curious person by nature, and I do ask questions to learn how to best care for my cats. Dr. Kumar was very patient with me and answered all my questions while interacting with my cats and not missing a beat. The experience was very comfortable, friendly, and I could feel the genuine care and respect he and his nursing team had for my cats and me. On a side note, my family and I have always felt one of our cats, Roscoe, is a bit overweight. When we took him to previous veterinarians, they too would gasp at the size of him. After I expressed in a nervous embarrassed way that Roscoe is a big boy, they were so kind and said no, he's not fat, he's actually pretty tall. I swear, that changed our whole perspective on Roscoe! We will definitely continue our pet health care here with Dr. Kumar and his team.

Thank you Dr. Kumar and team for taking care of Kimbo.I was referred to Grand Animal Hospital by a coworker after sharing Kimbo had broken a tooth, his canine.Kimbo had been in so much discomfort.He wasn’t sleeping and was even refusing to eat.I can’t thank Dr. Kumar and his team enough for the timely manner and extraordinary service we received.I spoke to Dr. Kumar Monday evening and explained our situation, by Wednesday morning Kimbo was already scheduled for an extraction.Kimbo is our first pet, he’s family.From the initial call to our service day, the passion and care for pets radiates at Grand Animal Hospital.I’m happy to share that Kimbo has been recovering well and we look forward to bringing him back for all his care needs.

Grand animal hospital has the greatest staff ever! They are always happy to help and answer questions whether it be walk ins or phone calls. My dog was sick a few times this summer and they took the greatest caret of him. They reassured me he would be okay and always check in a few days after his procedures. They send reminders when he has any upcoming vaccines or appointments and their app is a great tool. 1000/10 recommend Grand Animal Hospital!

Vet (Dr. Gill) is in the wrong business. Terrible with dogs. We basically did the exam ourselves and were charged unnecessary. He did not touch our dog. No exaggeration. He didn't look in my dogs mouth and barely in eara and gave vague assumptions.Then he quoted $1K+ for teeth cleaning and extraction. Charged us $400 for exam he didn't perform, two shots (antibiotics), and two meds to use at home for 1 week.terrible service, grossly overpriced, very little communication and will never return.

Thank you Dr. Kumar and thank you to the amazing staff for taking very good care of my cat Luka. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for better care. Dr. Kumar and staff were very friendly, kind, patient and professional. Brought in my little Luka because he wasn’t feeling too well. He kept puking and salivating a bit too much and I so I brought him to grand to have him checked out. They presented me with some options on how to handle the situation and thanks to Dr. Kumar and the team, Luka was back home and feeling good as new! They really helped Luka get better and really helped reassure me that he was going to be ok. I definitely recommend bringing your pets here. Rest assured that they’ll give your pet the best care here. Thanks again Dr. Kumar and staff, I appreciate you all.

This was our first visit to this veterinarian. We called for an appointment & was seen promptly. At our other veterinarian, we had to always wait 3 hours just to be seen. The staff was friendly & very helpful. All labs results were explained to us, along with the treatment options. We will continue to come back for our Kumo's care here at Grand Animal Hospital.

My dog had a fall on Saturday evening, and the next day he wasn't using his leg. Sunday morning, I looked for a nearby animal hospital, and discovered Grand Animal Hospital. They got me in by 10 am. It was beautiful inside and the staff was very friendly. The doctor was kind and patient and answered all of my questions. My dog needed surgery from an orthopedic doctor, and they got this doctor in to do the surgery on the same day, a Sunday! I took my dog home that evening, with medication and instructions. I have a follow up appointment in two weeks. So far, my dog is doing great and recovering well from the surgery.

While I am not disappointed with the service I received, because staff was kind. I am disappointed with the treatment my dog got. I went in because my dog had bloody stool, which was obviously concerning so I took him to the first emergency vet that had an opening. Right when I mentioned that he had blood in his stool the vet quickly added that he most likely had pancreatitis. Which I found very strange because the only symptom he had of pancreatitis was bloody stool. He was still his energetic self, still wanting food, drinking water, no fever, and he was not vomiting. There was also no way of him getting pancreatitis he is on a strict diet and does not get any human food that are high in fat. They took him to the back to get a blood test and take x-rays. When the blood test came back the vet said it was evident that he had pancreatitis, which again made me which perplex because when I looked at the blood work everything was still in a normal range. The only thing that was slightly elevated was the white blood cell count and neutrophils. And when I say slightly I mean less than 1% outside the standard deviation but still in normal ranges. So I asked the vet how he came to the conclusion/how bad the pancreatitis was. All he said was it was strong on the test and it was pretty bad. This made no sense to me because non of his enzymes were elevated either. I am no veterinarian but I am very versed on canines/canine health I am an animal science major and I’ve been working with canines for awhile. They wanted to keep him for three days on IV fluids and also put him on other medication. This would’ve costed me $2,597 dollars. After talking to my mom about what was going on and my concerns we decided to opt out of the treatment they prescribed, and just asked to give him subcutaneous fluids. The next day my regular vet was able to see him. She told me HE DID NOT HAVE PANCREATITIS. All that was happening was that he ate paper which I told the previous vet that he did often. The paper caused some upset when coming out which was the cause of the bleeding. I feel like there is a possibility that I was taken advantage of because of my age, I am young adult. They also up-charge insanely at this vet for example they up-charged for the medication which usually cost me $18 dollars at my normal vet and would’ve costed me $200 dollars there. And I am still unclear if they were able to get x-rays on him. The vet told me they were unable to get x-rays and the vet tech told me they did get x-rays. I was still charged for them either way. My guess for what happened was there was some medical biases/they thought they could take advantage of a younger person.(Edit: the x-rays were not taken but I was refunded)(Second edit: I am highly disappointed on how you choose to respond to this situation. Not only did you not take responsibility for your teams actions, but also choosing an argumentative route was quite unprofessional. I hope others don’t have an experience like mine.)

I was so excited that we have a new veterinarian hospital in Diamond Bar. This hospital is state of the art and pristine. The medical staff seems to go above and beyond. Dr Goraya was so sweet and loving with my dogs. She actually sat on the floor to make them more comfortable. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything during the exam. I highly recommend this veterinarian facility to anyone needing assistance with their furbabies. I was also very pleased to see how the office follows up with your pets exam.

My experience with grand animal hospital was good, a little pricy but they were willing to work with me to bring it down to something I could afford. But hey we’re very personable and friendly the vet was a straight forward and didn’t beat around the bush about treatment and causes of what was bothering my dog. They were very accommodating to my very big and very not friendly to other dogs.

Very friendly staff. Made us feel welcome especially when our dogs are very nervous dogs, they worked around what was more comfortable for them to avoid stressing them out even more. Very easy to make an appointment with them. Glad to have found this place
