I took my Chicken Nugget as an emergency. Drove all the way from LA on memorial day weekend and they took us in immediately. The staff was all so nice, the girls at the front desk Celeste didn't get the others names were always so helpful and communicated with me during and after my baby's stay. Dr. Hinz performed her surgery. She spoke with us before and after made us feel so welcomed bless her heart. They made the drive from LA worth it and comparing prices they were also more affordable again thank you to all the wonderful staff!

My cat was acting very fidgety after escaping her leash and running into a cactus. I called and they said they could take her, and immediately took her in a room. Dr. Kim sedated her and pulled out 75 (!) thorns and spikes, some nearly in her eye. They ran additional tests to make sure everything was all good, and my cat came out her normal chirpy self. The entire process from check in to pick up was 1 hour, which I’m very very grateful for. The total cost was ~$1000, but I could’ve opted for just the exam+sedation+removal+meds which would’ve been ~$400. Very happy with the service, quickness, thoroughness, and transparency of the prices.Emergency care is expensive and can happen to any pet, remember to get pet insurance!

If we could give more STARS 🌟 we gladly would. Our cat's health had been declining for awhile. His quality of life was so important to us and he was losing it daily. We made a phone call to East Valley Pet Clinic and Carry answered it. We explained our request for our decision to euthanize our beloved pet. Carry was very kind, thoughtful and professional in her response to us. We arrived a short time later at clinic where Carry immediately welcomed us and within minutes we were in a patient room. She was gentle during the intake. Shortly afterwards Cheryl arrived and again we were welcomed with kindness and compassion. She is a top notch professional who really understands catheter placement and the proper amount of medication to ease your beloved pet's journey over to the rainbow bride 🌈As we tearfully checked out at the exit desk we met Stephanie who was very gentle, thoughtful and kind. She quickly took care of the payment we owed. Our experience at East Valley Pet has left us feeling well cared for and most importantly we felt understood for the tough decision we had made today.

AVOID AT ALL COSTSAll the staff are very nice except the Asian “doc” that was very rude and definitely should get his license revoked. They didn’t do any tests and brought out a lengthy “treatment plan” with an estimate of over 3 thousand dollars. When asked what was the outcome of the tests the unprofessional “doctor” said I’m not a psychic. The entire establishment is a scam and they just lure you to pay for treatments without actually diagnosing.I genuinely hope the staff here gets compensated well enough for dealing with such a rude human that lacks proper manners.

One of the few emergency vet clinics in the area open during the night and on weekends. I was able to bring my dog in on new years weekend, fearing he may have an obstruction, and I was seen by the vet quite quickly. They kept him for 2 nights and I was able to visit him and bring him food on the first day. I thought they took good care of him and they provided updates over the phone for me all hours of the day. I must’ve called at least 10 times and they were always patient and caring about it. The bad reviews for this place seem to be do to price but its an emergency vet- they’re all expensive. So while it was a lot of money, I was not shocked by it, and prices weren’t any higher than other ER vets. I don’t remember names unfortunately but every staff member was super sweet and helpful. The building isn’t as new as some other places but it’s been around for as long as I can remember. I’ve taken every dog I’ve had since I was kid here at least once in their life.

Never take your pets here, ever. The chinese male doctor is rude, condescending, and outright an a-hole. He consistently told me to read my previous paperwork (from another vet) and kept slamming the paper on the table. He told me that I should understand what is on the paper and that I shouldn't be there. Honestly, its a bunch of medical names that I don't know the meaning to. This doctor is VERY rude to you and doesn't even try to explain anything in a respectable manner. The vet tech there with him was translating the doctors english, to not-so-rude english. I feel really bad for the people that work with this doctor. My advice, take them somewhere else. I recommend VCA Ontario, they are much more respectful and were able to articulate everything that was wrong with my pet.Again, go somewhere else but here. especially at night where this demon doctor is awake.

0 stars. Please do not take your pet here in an evening emergency. Find another local emergency vet. The front staff is wonderful and understanding. But the night vet is not!!! I believe his name is Dr. Kim. Because of his refusal to euthanize my dog so that he can instead charge me $4000, my dog went through a lot of pain and was put to sleep at another location instead, where my dog was treated with respect his last few hours with me. It is unfortunate the ordeal I had to endure and the pain my 16.5 year old dog had to go through because this vet wanted money. This man went as far as telling me to relinquish my rights as an owner because I wasn’t giving in to the what he wanted. I’ve had my dog since he was a puppy, 16.5 years, so I know my dog and what he needed. Again, do not take your dog here in the evening. I recommend Glendora Animal Hospital Instead.

0/5 stars.I brought my dog in for intense itching. The vet never came out to speak to me only the techs did. They gave me a 700+ bill for a bunch of random stuff. I said I only wanted the medication. They threatened to only treat him if I did everything. When I said no they said fine and They gave my dog medication that doesn’t go well together. Basically an anti inflammatory and a medication that causes inflammation. The next day he was not only itching intensely but also had a ton of bloody diarrhea, vomiting, and was severely dehydrated.I had to hospitalize him for 2 daysHe was originally brought in for intense itching, after this vet visit he almost died. His vet said not to ever take him there again. This hospital should be shut down for mal practice. If you love your pets don’t bring them here. It’s a death sentence.I encourage everyone who has had their pets harmed to report this hospital to the veterinary Medical Board.

I adopted a puppy last Wednesday and she came home with an upper respiratory infection that was getting worse. I live in the high desert area and unfortunately on Saturday all pet clinics were at capacity or were short staffed. After being turned away at VCA, they suggested I come here. Luckily, I was checked in promptly and in an hour and a half I was out the door with medication and my mind at ease that my puppy Petunia would be better. Petunia sends kisses and lots of love to the best staff! Thank you for your help on Saturday, we greatly appreciate it ❤️

Literally walked out of this place once we only paid what we felt was authorized. Dr kim cant be understood, super intrusive of information that didnt pertain to my animal. Hes super rude by slamming his phone on the counter. Spent 10 minutes googling my primary for no aparant reason. He even did tests without our consult to my animal and wanted an extreme amount of money for something we didnt even authorize. So upset because now my animal didnt even get treated for what we came in for after spending an hr and a half here.Other Dr's I've never had a problem with, its specifically this doctor.

This place was the only emergency clinic that would take Moose, our 8 week old French Bulldog, who was having a hard time breathing. He was on the brink of death and all the other emergency facilities I called were at maximum capacity or didn’t want to take him in due to his age & size. They immediately brought him to the back and put him on oxygen. They let me call throughout the night for updates. Unfortunately, my poor baby’s condition got worse by the morning. They advised he most likely wouldn’t make it, even if we transported him to another facility for additional care. One of the techs even wanted to personally take Moose to another facility but it was too far away and the risk was high.I appreciate their honesty and they were very sympathetic and let us see him before we said goodbye. They gave us options and even stayed a little bit past closing. They offered us more time with our baby Moose after we humanely euthanized him. 😞They refunded us a portion of the bill and let us know to call back if we have any questions. We miss you so much Moose. ❤️🌈

We had an emergency situation with my cat this morning and checked online which said they are open 24 hours. We arrived at 5:30AM and the doors were locked they were closed. This is unacceptable especially if you call yourself an emergency clinic. Update your hours on google. During an emergency situation this could waste precious time.

I recently visited the East Valley Emergency Pet Clinic with my Standard Schnauzer, Douglas, and had an excellent experience. We arrived at 8:00 pm, worried about his excessive drooling, pawing at his face, and whining. My initial concern was that he might have been stung by a bee or swallowed something he shouldn't have.Upon our arrival, we were promptly attended to by Celeste, who was not only extremely sweet but also very informative. She took us into a room immediately, which eased our anxiety. The wait time was minimal, and within 5 minutes, a nurse informed us that the doctor would examine Douglas and discuss his condition with us.However, after about 30 minutes, Celeste returned to let us know that there was nothing wrong with Douglas, and all his vital signs were within normal limits. We were then greeted by Brittany, who patiently explained that if there was a serious issue, he would be lethargic, among other symptoms. After 45 minutes at the clinic, we paid a reasonable $95.00 for the doctor's fee. I must say that I didn't feel overcharged, and I appreciated their fair pricing. The clinic itself left a positive impression on me. It was exceptionally clean, and the staff were diligent in maintaining a hygienic environment. They even ensured the coffee machine was filled up, a small but appreciated touch. The waiting rooms were also well-kept.In summary, I highly recommend East Valley Emergency Pet Clinic, especially for emergencies. Their staff, like Celeste and Brittany, were caring and knowledgeable, and the clinic's cleanliness and protocol were commendable. I left with peace of mind and a healthy pet, and for that, I'm grateful.

It's a horrible place; I would not recommend it. Pay 95 dollars to do absolutely nothing. I didn’t see the doctor at all. The assistant came, took my puppy, and came back telling me the doctor recommended that I have an X-ray and blood work done and quoted me $1,200+, Still, they couldn’t tell me the reason why or what the Dr. thought that my puppy might have that made him request those exams. When I declined the X-ray and blood work, the assistant came back to tell me he would be treating my puppy for “symptoms” and would be prescribing antibiotics and cough medicine. “Symptoms” wth that’s not even a diagnosis, I took my puppy because she was vomiting. Why cough medicine? Ugh. When I asked for my puppy back, the assistant said she couldn’t give me my puppy until I paid the examination fee. I wasn’t planning to leave without paying it, although I don’t think he deserve for me to pay when my dog wasn’t even appropriately examined. Never again will I go to this horrible place

Last weekend my baby boy got sick and we made the extremely tough decision to put him down. He was 10 years old and had lost his sense of direction & depth perception, his ability to recognize anyone, and could barely stand on his own. This was especially hard because just days earlier he was still acting like a 6 month old puppy - all the energy and happiness in the world! We searched local veterinary offices, and came across East Valley. They had great reviews and were very sweet over the phone, so we decided this is where we would take him.Not only were they extremely helpful, but they were sympathetic, as well. They didn't turn into robots and shut off all emotion - they made me feel like my Misfit mattered to them, and he wasn't just another dog in for euthanasia. When we were asked to leave the room so they could insert the catheter, I came back in to one of the vet techs cuddling with and comforting my boy. The veterinarian offered us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. After he had passed, they didn't pressure us to leave. They allowed us to spend as much time as we wanted in the room with Misfit. They really made our extremely hard day a little less stressful. I am extremely grateful for this.I made the decision to have Misfit cremated. East Valley was not only inexpensive compared to most other places in the area, but they went above and beyond! I picked up my baby's ashes yesterday. They were presented to me in a gorgeous wooden box. The box even had a gold plaque with Misfit's name engraved on it. They also provided me with a clay imprint of Misfit's paw and a stand to display it. The amount of appreciation that I have for East Valley is unreal. They definitely go above and beyond. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.Thank you, to all the girls working when I brought Misfit in last Saturday. You are all angels.

I called about 15 clinics looking for an emergency avian vet in the Los Angeles area before I found East Valley. My cockatiel was bleeding from some lost feathers and would not stop preening her wound area and I was really worried she would bleed out. I am so grateful they took her in right away. She ended up being okay so they gave me a discount on the exam fee which I really appreciated because as you all know pets can be expensive. I am so pleased with the professionalism and compassion displayed by the veterinarian and his assistants at East Valley.

10pm My dog was bitten by a pit bull and I brought him to the only hospital open 24 hours a day. I clearly told the nurse that my dog had broken a bone, and he unprofessionally picked the dog up. After waiting for some time, the doctor told me that my dog was fine, only a little skin trauma, and asked me to pick up my dog at 11 o 'clock tomorrow morning. When I got home, it was 2am, but the doctor called me and told me that I needed to pay 8000 yuan for dressing my dog's fracture! And give 10000 above cost operation! I inquired, and the doctor told me that there was no guarantee that the dog would recover if the operation cost as much as $10,000! This is outrageous! I didn't agree to pay $8,000 that night, and the doctor told me to pick up my dog right away! Obviously I didn't agree! I picked up my dog at 10:00 the next day, he was bandaged, and I paid 1300 dollars to this black heart hospital to choose conservative treatment! This is the moment my nightmare really began! The doctor was very unprofessional and did not reset my dog's bone! As a result, my dog's shoulder blade is still misplaced, and the doctor is very unprofessional in bandaging, which leads to my dog meat rotting! My dog was stitched and 7 days later I went to the hospital for dressing change and the doctor forgot to remove the stitches. 3 weeks later the stitches became inflamed and I went to another hospital for dressing change and was told that the hospital did not remove my dog's stitches at all! Everything is terrible! This is a phony hospital!

The staff are so amazing and friendly due to COVID we had wait outside received emergency care for our puppy right away and results were quick. We were given two options, hospital stay or outpatient services. They have a credit program for pets which is great for emergency services. I definitely recommend this place.

I had to put my dog of 15 yrs to sleep. He was a member of our family. I'm so happy I found this hospital. The staff was so kind and friendly. It warmed my heart to see the compassion the technician had for my fur baby. I said my goodbye as his little soul left for heaven🙏❤🐶😇

I had a great experience leaving my petI felt comfortable and happy that he would be receiving qui k care. Unfortunately when it was time to pick him up we were given a time of 7- to 730 AM. I was waiting until 7:45 when I went to ask how much longer. The girls at thr desk were rude and seemed upset about me asking and for telling then they should make it a point to let people know that it was going to take a while because at time of intake they made it seem like it would be quick. Neither girl appreciated my suggestion and both got snippy and their attitudes changed and stated that it is an emergency office and that I should have made better arrangements for my pick up. They also tried mentioning the fact that I was going to be charged less and something about a discount, which at this point didn't matter because we had already paid the money, so to me it was just about letting people know what time, how much time and at least an I'm sorry it's going to be much longer. But no they had a negative attitude and were upset that I was upset about waiting for an hour plus to get my pet discharged. So rude and disrespectful to try and tell me I should plan better as if they knew my personal situation. What if I had absolutely no family or had just lost my only other person who was my support system? Either way not the attitude I expected after having to leave my pet in an emergency room.

$85 for an examination which is already pricey but considering the convenient times......sure.My cat was vomiting alot through out the day. I brought her over and after the exam the Dr. wanted to do some xrays and said it would cost $1k. More testing is fine but $1k is ridiculous. Didn't even give a recommendation on medication or anything.Effectively I paid $85 for a Google searchSame thing happened to me but I payed $95 and my dog couldn’t even get treatment.. I mean why do you need a full blood work ??? If it was something ingested.. I asked if I could only do the X-rays but they said it had to be all the test of about $1700 total.. I took my dog and left just drove to waste time and pay $95.. is that how all emergency clinics are??

We took our 2 year old old English bulldog here his face was swollen on the left side he was bleeding through his mouth they take him and the doctor Mr Mario Guarrancino called us didn’t even speak to us in person overall cost would be over $2600 that is blood work and x-rays they said we will give you a call regarding payment when I asked about options they told me I can take off the X-rays which was recommended but wasn’t necessary because there was so much inflammation present, which brought the balance down to $1600 or so but they said there was no payment options in full or no service after we had opt out for X-Rays this So called Doctor has no regard for the actual pet owner or poor Animal in need just the money he said it was an abscess stuck a tube through my dogs face he said to drain it which nothing even came out shaved my dogs face all the way down to his chest gave him some antibiotics and pain meds and said follow up with what ever doctor you take him too which mind you we never even spoke to the doctor in person still regarding our beloved bulldog my dog still has a swollen face and it’s been over a week horrible service!

Took my dog in to get treated for pyometra. They recommended surgery, but messed up. My dog is now paralyzed from waist down.I wasn't able to speak to any doctors, and the nurses brush me away every single time I try to ask a question. They gave me attitude over and over, and lied about the date they gave her surgery and didn't explain why.Watch out on their consent form. They make you sign a paper that states that "they are not reliable if your animal leaves the hospital worse off than they came in".My dog sure did.

For any emergency, I bring my pets here. They treat you and your pets with great care. They explain everything before and after the procedure as well as your options. Like what other reviewers said, the charges are a bit higher than other places. However, their services are top quality. I say this from my own experiences. Last time I went there was when one of my cats Milkie was attacked by some animal. He had big holes around his neck and the skin around that area was literally about to fall off. They did tell me ahead the procedure, cost and after-care treatment. They performed a surgery immediately. They taught us the after-care procedure in detail and even offered to bring him in if we needed help with administering the medications. They also gave us more than enough medication. Although it cost us $850 that day, Milkie recovered beautifully and that's all that matters to us. His fur grew back and has no bumps or scars. We've never met the vet but I'm sure they are busy. The staff are nice.Amee

Only thinking making money. Doesn’t really care about dog. My dog’s left eye was hurt. There is blood and pus on her eye. I took her to east valley on Sunday afternoon. They say for Retina exam is $400. I declined it. Because I want to go to my vet for exam on Monday. So they just give her 2 injection and some medicine. They even didn’t clean my dog’s eye. And charge me for 200 dollars. On Monday, my vet say doesn’t need to take exam for Retina. And my dog’s retina is fine. And say the medicine that east valley gave me is not to cure my dog’s eye just for less painful. My vet give my dog 1 injection and some medicine and clean up my dog’s eye just cost 89.Fortunately, I did decline the retina exam. Or I’ll waste more $400.

I have been meaning to write this for almost a year now. This emergency pet clinic deserves it. May I add, everyone's "horrible experiences" seem to be a complaint about money. Healthcare is expensive for humans, if you didn't have insurance, you'd be surprised what you'd actually be paying out of pocket. You can't come in to an emergency clinic and expect to pay $100. These are professionals and do what they do very well. With that being said, here is my review.I brought Skipper, my 1 lb maltese puppy on a late Saturday evening (11:30pm) because I was driving my daughter to Stanford University and when I came back, I saw my puppy barely alive. My husband had not fed her in almost a day and a half.(never trust your husband with babies) I tried to rub her back and stimulate her to syringe feed her some water but she was barely able to even take that in. I searched for an emergency clinic and thankfully found East Valley Emergency. I drove her in after a quick over the phone triage and I was able to go in since they were expecting me. The nurse came out so fast and had a warm blanket for her in hand, it happened so fast but she looked down at her and I remember she told her "oh little baby, we will help you as best as we can" she looked back at me and told me they would keep in touch and to wait outside in my car. Her face was calm but did looked concerned.Long story short, they kept her over the weekend and had her on an IV drip, tube feeding and lots of love. They kept my hopes high the whole time. Skipper was doing better day by day and and year and some months later. She's a healthy little girl. While the price was high, I was more concerned about her being alive. I'm a nurse myself, so I went in knowing it wasn't going to be cheap, I can't thank you all enough for the love you showed my puppy. You all really are heavens angels sent to help us with our pets. Thank you for everything you did that weekend for little Skipper.

I brought my 20 year old cat here as he was VERY cold and lethargic. When we were brought back into the exam room, there was rock music, blaring loudly in the back area where the animals were held. You could also hear people speaking loudly over the rock music, and occasionally, a door would slam open and closed. The veterinarian recommended that my cat stay There to receive IV fluids. Unfortunately, I was not able to do that as the environment was not some thing I was willing to subject my cat to. Why would a vet create an environment that creates fear and stress in animals? They seemed insensitive to the feelings of those they are meant to be serving, putting their own pleasure and interest above the animals they are serving. When I nicely pointed this out to the vet, he acted very irritated, and told me my cat would die if I did not leave him there. I ended up, leaving there and bringing my cat to VCA Ontario. In sum, I would not recommend this location. In contrast, I have since then had excellent experiences at VCA Ontario! They are very sensitive to the feelings of the animals they are serving. In fact, they even have a separate waiting area for dogs and cats which I appreciate.
