Went in to buy nail clippers. Of course they have a security lock. Can't find an employee anywhere. Stand at the check out counter for 10 minutes waiting for assistance. 2 Spanish speaking ladies have brought back an 8 pack of aa batteries to return. Only half are in the pack. The employee obviously didn't know how to handle the situation as she went to the wall looked at a full pkg. Came back and talked to the customer more. Another employee came out and asked if she needed assistance. She said she needed change for the till. All while myself and 5 others waited in line. I left. Rite aid was right around the corner. You need to better train your staff. She should have put the Ladies aside and helped paying customers.

i go here all the time with my family but super disappointed by how the employees talked about customers poorly. my sister and i overheard a team member trash talk my outfit and be super judgy… like girl come on how you going to talk trash about customers and then compliment their outfit all in the same breath??? messy

Jennifer is such an amazing worker she was very friendly, informative, and kind. She helped my daughter and I with pictures and it was less stressful because she helped us. Honestly her customer service was excellent. As we were checking out Robert the cashier had a wonderful smile, and made the checking out experience enjoyable. He was very fast and polite at the same time.

Called 3 days in a row to let them know I had a cold and to save my prescriptions till I got over it and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone ~ seems like they don't care about the public who keeps them open !! Thanks for nothing and next time I have a cold I'll just walk in there and too bad !!

Great customer service BUT THE BATHROOMS are hideous and FILTHY. There is so much dust sitting on top of the emergency lights it is gross. The trash can and toilet seat cover holder are rusty.. overall makes the store look soooo much worse than it is.

Don't go here for a Covid shot, nor the farmacy. I made an appointment for 3:40 but there was only one giant line for people getting prescription and for vaccines. I was there early and waited over 40 minutes to finally get to the front because most people were there for prescriptions.Worst part was, as soon as I got to the front of the line the nurse giving out the vaccines announces she's taking a 30 minute break. I understand that people need their breaks... but this lady was doing nothing for the majority of the 40 minutes I was waiting. Another lady waiting behind me went to talk to the nurse about the wait but she didn't care and just blew her off and said she was leaving. I decided I wasn't going to wait longer and just left, what a waste of time.There is no point in making appointments if there is no system to check in. It would have taken 5 minutes to check-in everyone who was there for vaccines but the nurse in charge apparently didn't want to work. I'm sure she won't hesitate to pick up her paycheck though. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to come up with a better system, just avoid this place.

Not ONCE have I ever shown up and my prescription was ready, no matter whether I waited an hour or a day to pick it up. Plan on a visit to tell them you do actually need that medication, and a second visit 6-48 (!!) hours later to pick it up. What if it were an urgent, life-saving medicine?!? This place is the worst.

It took me over 4 days to get my approved workers comp Rx's. Plus the coupon system is worthless. I will never use Walgreens in Desert Hot Springs CA....totally useless...even their coupon help line useless

Went for a scheduled vax appointment at 12:40pm. Arrived at 12:30 and was told I would need to wait AN HOUR because the pharmacist was going to lunch. Pharmacy staff were truly rude and obviously miserable. Finally got my shot at 2:15. Glad one of us got to have lunch.

1. The staff is hardworking because if you ONLY KNEW the amount of prescriptions (600+ A DAY) they have to fill PLUS the paperwork, PLUS people calling, PLUS doctors and other pharmacies calling, PLUS 30+ people inside and in BOTH drivethrus, and staff has been working from opening to closing because of constant work with no breaks and only 1 thirty minute lunch.2. All the pharmacists and techs are quitting because they're underpaid and stressed out with the constant influx of people with no workers helping out, everyone says we need more workers but no one is applying, because people know they're underpaid and overworked, etc. In-n-Out is paying a higher starting position than a pharmacy clerk, go figure.3. Because of no workers, such as pharmacists, pharmacies all over have been closing and it's not like they don't want to help you, they just can't because of everyone quitting.4. Staff is doing their best in store and pharmacy!

Company policy doesnt allow them to confront shoppers without a mask "for their own safety." Fine, but why do I see so many other stores with no problem maintaining the mask mandate? At a minimum, they should not be serving maskless customers, and their own staff should wear masks properly. Additionally, staff is particularly rude and quite adept at lying about it.Don't bother calling. 5 repeated calls over an hour. First four, on hold until the call dropped. Last call on hold for over 20 minutes until I gave up. If they're not going to answer the phone, turn it off.

Most of the staff are caring and professional. They carry a good selection of OTC items, such as first aid, allergy products, analgesics, etc. At the pharmacy, they always check to see if they have enough stock to fill a prescription, and if they don't, they give you options about going to another store or waiting an extra day so they can order it. If your insurance doesn't cover your prescription, they will try to find a way to discount the price to make it more affordable. I think they need more staff, though, because lines at the pharmacy, including the drive-up window, can be very long. Sometimes the line inside runs clear back to the middle aisle that runs across the store. I have waited behind six cars at the drive-up window, with over 30 minutes wait time. However, I have never been turned away after waiting, even when it was close to closing time. Good people.

The staff is always nice and helpful. I'm in and out within a few minutes. The pharmacy staff is very kind. They help me many times. The drive-thru line can be long but I think that's the cost of not wanting to go into the store.

Went through the drive through for a PCR test and waited over an hour to then be told that we were in the wrong lane and either come back another time or go through the drive through again. Decided to go through the drive through again and it took over two and a half hours. One star is too good for this place. Im never going there again. The experience ruined my whole day. One person working the window of 2 drive through lanes is a complete joke. She also appeared to be in training.....or probably totally inadequate for the job.

If you ever have to use the store for their pharmacy, grab your prescription and go ANYWHERE ELSE, don’t just walk, RUN away from this pharmacy. They’re closed most of the time because they’re so inept that they can’t find a pharmacist to actually, I don’t know, work? fill prescriptions, SHOW UP! Incompetence doesn’t even begin to describe the the experiences you’ll have, these people are lazy and don’t know how to work.Order your pills online to be delivered, way easier

This store is ghetto like many of the businesses here in town! The staff are tacky and unprofessional especially the pharmacy! Good luck finding it ever open or having any of your rx in stock. They call me the night before closing to tell me my rx is ready and then you go in the morning and it’s closed for the day with no pharmacist. 3rd time this has happened. Get a grip Walgreens! The store at the DAP center in Palm Springs is top notch!

The pharmacy is the worst ever, They are so slow and rude. My daughter went to get vaccinated, she stood in line for over 1 hour and 20 min to then be told she was late & she needed to reschedule. Went to rite Aid & it was done in less than 5 minutes. No wait time at all.

The waiting in line takes a long time. The more ppl that came to DHS the earlier they started to close-the pharmacy . Always a huge drive thru line. Maddening .

Girls in the pharmacy are RUDE. Your speaking to some people's mothers and fathers..i bet you wouldn't let anybody speak to your family members the way that you speak to everyone else's. If you can't be polite, when your getting paid, then get a different job. Everyone is replaceable and I'm sure there are other people who love to get paid to be nice.

Would give negative stars if could. I bought a heating pad 2 nights ago. Spent 50 bucks. Got it home and the pad is much too large for what I'm looking for, in the day inbetween the receipt sat on my kitchen counter, my wife had spilt our sons juice on the counter and there for the receipt, she then threw it away. The receipt was damaged but still readable and fortunatly the barcode ( you know the one they use to scan when doing a return) was completely spared and clean. I go in tonight try to return the item and the cashier calls in a manager on duty, this lesbian overweight black woman who instantly rude to me and refuses my receipt says cant use it. I tell her umm yeah you can, scan it the barcode is in perfect condition and she refuses again. Very nasty, rude right out of the gate, im pretty sure this is the same woman my mother had problems with here about a year ago with her rude behavior and unwillingness to do anything for a customer. I don't know why this woman is still working here, and I will be contacting corporate and see that something is done to this. As again I will never shop here again. And advise everyone else to save yourself the inconvenience and not to mention their inflated prices on everything. Like 3x as much than anywhere else. Pitiful

What sense does it make to make an appointment and fill out everything online, when you still have to come and stand in a line?If you make an appointment online, you should just come in sit down and wait for your name to be called at your appointment time! I arrived 30 min early and at this pace will miss my 11:30

Waited in line for 1hour and 30 minutes just to get told they are closed . They should either have someone outside to keep count or a decent sign stating the last car they will be taking is at 630 . I find it very unfair to all customers who are in need of medication.

This store needs new a whole new staff, if going to pharmacy expect to wait 40-45 minutes. Best bet is to take your meds to vons and not worry about these bumbs!!! Go somewhere else!!!!

Was there to drop off FedEx package. Gentleman was on the phone didn't acknowledge me until I asked him if someone can help he just looked at me made no comment to me. Finally another employee was walking by and asked her if she can help. Worse experience ever.
