The staff were wonderful. Pleasant, knowledgeble and efficient.Notified by text that vaccines were available I was able to make a next day appointment. As I had filled out the necessary forms online I was able to walk straight up to the pharmacy. The pharmacist answered questions asked. Floor staff directed me to other items on the way to Gary RN who did a great job with the injections.

Tried calling multiple times to see if my medication from the ER was ready to get picked up just to get hung up on and repeatedly put on hold just for them to hang up. Poor customer service and rude.

Went in for cooks medicine. Their shelves were empty. I asked if things had been moved and the pharmacist said, “no that’s it. That’s what we have”. Yikes.

Well for past few years I have not been happy with rite aid for multiple reasons one when they sent my prescription to San Diego after telling me it would be done that day. Second they sold me a name brand drug with generic ones in the bottle they literally were the same exact pills same number and brand stamps generic. I had to get vaccines for school and set a 5:30 appointment in which I was on time for, 6:20 rolls around and lady with accent tells me no vaccines after 6pm. GO TO VONS pharmacy way better by far. Don't be afraid to be rude or let these people know your unhappy speak up.

Love this store for the employees.The ice cream is an added plus. They may not always have the best selection in cosmetics but at least I know I will get my prescriptions right and within a reasonable time.

Unfortunately, it won’t let me leave ZERO stars. This has become the WORST pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. They flat out stopped answering the phone a couple of weeks ago, both the pharmacy AND the main store, so, you can’t talk to a pharmacist let alone a regular employee. I’ve waited 8 to 10 cars back in the drive through 3 times this week only to be told my prescription is not ready even though my doctor assured me the sent it electronically last week. For the first time in my life I even called their corporate number to speak to someone, I hung up after waiting on hold for 40 minutes there as well. If there were ever a company that needs to be “cancelled”, it’s RiteAid Desert Hot Springs, what an absolute 🤡 show…

I have always loved this store! The people that work there are always nice and helpful. I wish I knew all their names so I can list them all but I’m just grateful that I can come to a convenient, clean store and find exactly what I need and walk out satisfied! I called in a refill of my heart medication this morning. The system told me it would be ready today after 5 pm. The pharmacy closes at 6 pm today. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my medication after 5pm like it said and was told it was not ready, and would not be ready, come back tomorrow. I told her it was very important that I have it because it's a heart medication and that the system told me it would be ready today. The pharmacist said she doesn't have time to fill it and would not fill it today, come back tomorrow. I was very upset because I had been told it would be ready today and they were refusing to refill it. This is not the first time this has happened to me with this pharmacy. After I pick up my medication tomorrow (hopefully I don't have a stroke due to not having the medication before then) I will probably be changing pharmacies. I have used this pharmacy for over 10 years, so it's very disappointing.

I only use this pharmacy because Walgreens does not take my insurance but the last time I had a prescription to pick up, I called at 4 pm and was told it would be ready by 5:30. I showed up at 6:15, waited in line for a little more than 5 minutes and when I got to the counter, I was told it was not ready and would take at least another 20 minutes. I ran a few quick errands, came back 30 minutes later to the drive thru & was told once again that it wasn’t ready and would take 20 minutes.I let the employee know I was just told that by 2 different people 30 minutes ago so she checked. I then received the confirmation call after I already pulled up to the window and my prescription was actually done.I understand things can get busy and chaotic but that it is frustrating having your time wasted because things are not being processed properly.

I got my Covid vaccine here and the man who gave them to me was so nice and informative. He was extremely professional but down to earth. I felt comfortable that he was going to be the one to administer my shots. He did it so quick I couldn't believe it.

Doctor told me it would take an hour for my pharmacy to get my prescription ready. I come to this store after waiting an hour and a half. I drove in and was told to wait another ten minutes, no problem.After waiting twenty minutes, was told again that my prescription wasn't ready for me.I don't mind waiting but please honor your prescription times please so I don't end up wasting time chilling in your parking lot please. It's not professional.

this is a review of a long term situation 10 years of having to use this rite-aid with time and time again being told that medicine is ready or will be ready at specific times or even some items ready and some are not.. Given the price of gas and distance (hello) we live in the desert.. I have also had to call this store about updating pers. info ring ring ring but no answer. I have resorted to calling to verify ready orders because of lack of notification reliability.. The list goes on and on and on Will be using another store that has more of a chance of being professional I just want of say this review is all about medicine at mostly the drive thru the store itself is at least a 4 on a 5 scale to be fair..

Best pharmacy in Desert Hot Springs. They're open 7 days a week with extended hours. The competition pharmacy across the street is closed 3-4 days a week and has shortened hours when they are open. Rite Aid associates are very friendly and helpful.

Amber, with management at this Rite Aid location was a life saver too me, when I locked myself out of my vehicle phone and wallet inside. I asked for assistance and Amber was very professional and active too my desperate situation. She was able to multi-task helping customers at the register while making the AAA phone call for me at the same time. 30min later I'm back on the road. Amber is a valuable addition to Rite Aid, and I look forward to checking out my purchases with her..

Waited in line for auto fill prescription. Wasn’t ready. I was told to come back in an hour and a half. I waited 3 hours. I came back ended up waiting 30 minutes in line. They then told me it was still not ready. They told me I have to wait 20 minutes I went inside and waited another 25 minutes. Every single person that walked up to the counter was told one thing and given another when it came to timing. Very upsetting. No one‘s prescriptions were filled nearly on time.

This Rite Aid is well managed! Every time I go in; it is clean, organized, and stocked. Also, the customer service is great. I’m greeted and I’m always asked if I need help.

I was there 2 minutes before opening waiting in the drive through, after waiting 10 minutes I thought maybe the drive through was closed so I proceeded to go inside to find out the pharmacist wasn’t even there for the day yet, they told me to wait until the 15 or 20 and he should be there by then. So at 8:20 I go to get back in line at the pharmacy, only for the pharmacist to tell me I was in the wrong lane to pick up, Lane 2 is only for drop offs (there is no indication or sign showing so) so I was supposed to go to the back of the first line ( with 5 cars ahead of me) so I decided to go back inside for the second time, for the pharmacist to tell me my medication wasn’t ready. I went in to fill it on Saturday and got turned down and told to come back. I will be sending my medics to one to another location from now on. This whole experience was a joke.

Horrible!!!! I had and appointment for COVID vaccine and they completely told us "they were out" That's understandable, but why didn't they send out an email or perhaps a phone call to notify us. I drove out from Hemet because I couldn't get an appointment that fit my schedule. Better luck next time..

Other than they treat everyone like a their, they are clean and well stocked. They've got a pretty well divered selection. I am in a wheelchair though and I can't reach some items I need and the employees don't offer help. You have to ask and hope they aren't all busy.

Rite Aid is good pharmacy. People are niece, patient and helpful.I do use R. A . pharmacy for many years.Thay will call, when meds are ready and will call again, if person forgot, to respond.I do little shopping there , happy, shopping , neighbors of, D. H. S of California.Mary. 👍😃

Great store and perfect customer service by all. Recently Amber went above and beyond to help me. She went in the back to find an item for me when the shelf was empty. She saved me a trip to another store! Thank you for being so friendly and helpful Amber!
