We are so thankful for Desert WAGZ! Dawn is extremely reliable and trustworthy. You can tell she has a passion for taking care of animals. My pups are my babies and I don’t just leave them in the hands of anyone while we are away, but with Dawn I feel very comfortable and at ease knowing my pups are in great hands. She provides us with constant updates of the pups via text, videos and photos. My dogs love Desert WAGZ! She has been our go to for the past few years.

Dawn Is the best dog expert out there. Our little Pako loves to be with her when we leave town. She keeps us up-to-date with how our little guy is doing and sends us plenty of cute pictures. If you're looking for someone who is great with dogs Dawn is the best choice to watch your furry kids

I highly recommend Dawn and Desert Wagz for pet care and services she provides. I’ve used Desert Wagz for two years for dog walking, house visits, pet sitting and transportation to grooming and Vet appointments. Being physically challenged with frequent medical stays, I wanted a dependable and trustworthy pet service that met my needs. Also, at times, my pups faced illness and injuries that made traditional daycare and boarding impractical, and being large energetic dogs, didn’t always fit in easily. Dawn walked, fed, played, gave treats and visited my pets. She drove them to grooming, her boarding facility and even a vet visit when I was unable, exceeding my expectations. She offers a high level of professionalism and dog related know how and even offered positive training and feeding tips for my two rescued rambunctious Labradors- a true dog whisperer for sure. Using good judgement and experience, Dawn does whatever it takes to provide the best possible care for my pets, and they could not be happier when she does. They are always excited to see Dawn because they know good times are coming. Dawn is extremely conscientious of their welfare and my pups are healthy, happier and more relaxed to show for it. And, so am I.

You need a great Dog Boarding service? look no further than Desert WAGZ! Dawn, the owner, has been great for our Dog Dusty! He was very skittish when first introduced but now he gets extremely excited when he sees Dawn. She is great dog whisperer as she has a great connection with the dogs. I am so happy to have someone I can leave Dusty with when I'm out of town and feel very comfortable.

I’ve used Desert Wagz for several years and they have gained our trust with (Bubba). We use Dawn(desert wagz owner) every year to sit our dog for 3 weeks while we go out of the country. It’s been a mission to find a good place to sit our Bubba. I’ve used multiple places and I have to say most are not as they described. You would think local known Animal hospital would be the best option but no. Our Bubba is 11 yrs old now and we wouldn’t leave him anywhere else. Dawn show’s professionalism and great experience.

Dawn is amazing! She takes such good care of my dogs. I have no worries when she is watching them. She is reliable and flexible. Always there to walk them or board them when I need her to. My dogs truly enjoy spending time with her. I highly recommend.

Desert Wagz, Dawn, was recommended to us for boarding. I am always apprehensive because my dogs seemed traumatized after an experience years ago and since then I've tried to find someone familiar to keep them when we go out of town. Of course, this isn't always possible. So when we found Dawn I was at first nervous but she scheduled a meet and greet. My 2 dogs loved her instantly. When she came to pick them up they went with her without hesitation. When we came back they were happy and seemed genuinely well adjusted. They have been difficult when it comes to feeding but Dawn said they ate every meal. They were not finicky when we returned. We have hired her several times now and my dogs do not even look back when she walks them to her car. She truly is a dog whisperer.

Desert Wagz always takes great care of us and our dogs. Never have to worry about any issues when boarding our GSD for multiples days and he comes home clean and happy every time. Dawn is amazing! We came through on very short notice to hike in Joshua Tree, where of course we couldn’t take our two dogs. She was very professional, accommodating and worked with us quickly. Definitely recommend! Anytime we come back we will be using her services.

I brought in my two doggies for grooming at Desert Wagz and the experience was great! I have one large GS/Doberman puppy and one small Chihuahua/terrier senior. My large puppy was timid considering it was his first-ever professional grooming experience. They accommodated him and made sure he was as comfortable as possible. They were also very knowledgeable about which nails to trim and which to leave alone. It's so nice to have more animal services in DHS. I highly recommend Desert Wagz!

My dog LOATHES getting her nails clipped! I met Cheryl and she said she could help. I took my dog to Desert Wags and it was a complete success getting my dog’s nails clipped. The owner was there too and both Cheryl and the owner couldn’t be any friendlier. I’m so thankful to have found DESERT WAGZ! There were a few other dogs there for grooming which is a great sign that this place is definitely doing something right. I appreciate good customer service and will definitely return. Owner is the best to work with. There is nothing more comforting than knowing your furry family members are safe and happy while you are away. We get daily updates with pictures. And they get excited to see her.The checks in’s are also great when you are away for the day.They also get groomed when we need them to and come home so clean and happy.

We were coming to Joshua Tree for the weekend and needed a place to board our pup, Simba. Dawn was incredibly accomodating and took amazing care of Simba, sending us updates through the weekend. He had a wonderful time with the other dogs and the care went above and beyond - highly recommend Desert Wagz!! Simba can’t wait to be back!!
