Lovely new Barnes and Noble store! I came by because I like walking through bookstores on my spare time and I love the new book smell here plus all new updated shelves. It is built like a maze and the bathrooms/water fountains are towards the back. Gender neutral restrooms with baby changing stations and bars for wheelchair users too so that was a nice accessible plus!

I stopped into our local West Marina in Marina del Rey. I have a complicated return, combined with some purchases. I was assisted by cashier Mauricio, and they were assisted by intern store manager, Marcus. My transaction took sometime because there have been changes to the system and it wasn’t as easy to pull up my store history, however, Mauricio understood my need, he was very helpful and never made me feel uncomfortable or that I was holding up the line. In fact, between Marcus and another cashier they were able to keep the flow of customers going while they were solving my request.I was so grated to Mauricio and Marcus! I was able to complete what I needed to do, to my full satisfaction, and definitely made me feel valued as a customer.Thank you, Mauricio and Marcus!! I appreciated your help! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bike and E-Bike friendly with a Bike Rack right outside of the front door! Also has several large windows so that you can peak outside of the windows to make sure that your e-bike is safe.Also easy to get here from the boat dock with your e-bike while running a quick run for more tools and gear for boat repairs.

I've been using this store for 25 years and West for over 30. They have eaten up all the competitors however they are the fairest even though they own the market. I appreciate all the help they have provided over that time.

A super small version of my favorite retail / pro marine shop. They usually have everything you need for boating and water sports. If they dont you can order it online and have it delivered to the shop or your address, which is great if you are visiting or know you will be in the area soon and cant recieve mail / packages.

One price label at the shelf and 30% more at register. Label is for 14,99 at register they told me 19,99 and the cashier didn’t even say “sorry”.

Their manager is apparently also manages bathrooms and does not allow clients after 5 pm as they have been cleaned already. I don’t think he gets paid well enough to take on so much responsibilities upon himself. Unless he is not a general manager but a bathroom manager. Then I get it.Regards,Paying Customer

Here on google maps it’s posted they close at 8pm, so I drove 25 miles only to find out they close at 7pm. If this was a small business I’d understand, but this is not a small business. There is no excuse.

Great store, clean, organized and well stocked for the most part. Don’t come here if you’re looking for something super specific that you’re already having trouble finding on the internet! For basics, they’ve got you covered. Staff is also extremely helpful and was surprised at the level of attention and care by one of the staffers. Solid place, if you need some supplies for your boat, tackle, line, rods, navigation equipment to play with before you buy, etc - they’ve got it.

Always a pleasure to walk into a brick & mortar store & be able to physically see "what might work" before it arrives in a package.The only issue with this location; scarce parking in an otherwise huge lot.From what I understand, they are on the move closer to the Marina & thier clienrs with their own large parking lot.

I was sold a used portable toilet as though it were new.The unit was scratched, dirty and missing critical parts like the flush pump. One of the side panels had been snapped off and overall it was covered in dirt and scratches. It also smelled like waste treatment tabs.I returned the unit and purchased it online for 60 dollars less than here (including shipping).The fact they accepted a prior return on a toilet and obviously didn't even bother opening the box before putting it back on the floor to sell as a full price new unit is bad enough. The fact it was broken and dirty on top of this makes it certain I will never shop here again.Shop somewhere else, don't risk getting used, broken overpriced products from this store.

Why would a West Marin ( Marina del Rey) store make there problems my problem?Having been there several times over several weeks now and trying to pay with CASH i have been told they are not accepting "CASH" A legal form of currency in America last time i checked.There reasoning:Our Bank has been closed since covid and we are looking for a new bank.....Well last time i checked and this is October now, banks are open and if there's isn't many other are.... how long does it take.So for there convenience they stopped taking CASH, a legal form of currency HELLO STOP MAKING YOUR PROBLEMS THE CUSTOMERS PROBLEM and start accepting legal currency!

Lots of great stuff in here for boating and fishing.You probably already new that though.They have frozen squid, did you know that?I usually just buy some odds and ends for fishing. They have a nice selection of hooks. the lead weights can be pricey. Nice bait selection. Not really a lot of fishing line but enough to get by on. I dont think that they put line on reels though.Its a shame they had to give up half their store but I think that not a lot of people really know what they carry. WIth the Marina down the street and shops like this few and far between I would assume this would be a very busy location.Staff friendly but not too knowledgable about their fishing items which is strange to me considering ....its like half the store.I think most people know what they want when they come in. Great store for my needs!

It's got some good stuff. But the people that work there must have been robbed before or something, they constantly stare you down or follow you around the store not to mention that you can't take anything off the rack due to it being locked in there.

Nice place for boat supplies, a bit expensive but they likely have what ever you'll need for your boat. Be prepared to pay premium retail prices here. You can likely find what you want for less online if you have the time to wait.

Very underwhelmed with the selection of stock in this store particularly when travelling a long distance to try offshore gear. The only reason I didn’t give one star was because the service was still friendly. Retailers need to know that customers till want to try gear on before they buy.

Too many complainers. If you own a boat in MDR, WM is fully stocked from a bronze screw to standard hoses and the zinc or blocks you need--one mile away, open nearly ever day. Orders arrive in a day or two, free shipping. Try buying a 100-pound dinghy or a whisker pole someplace else and see what that will cost to ship. All those electronics? The WM extended warranty means plastic Raymarine junk can fail and just bring it back. You can bring almost everything back if it doesn't fit, or you decide you don't need it after all, or you made a mistake. Try that with mail order. Sure prices are high. If there's time, shop around. But never knock a fully stocked chandlery five minutes from the boat, it's a major luxury. OK,the parking lot is a crime against humanity. So get there early.

I hate west marine. There, I said it. They never have what I'm looking for. You have to order online to ship to the nearest store. Everything is way overpriced, and there's no stock at the MDR store. Then you have to wait and wait at the parts counter. They don't even stock decent sailing gloves anymore.

Everything I may want but not what I need. On phone hold for 10 minutes many times. Empty shelves, no restocking, have to order many commonly used things.Only Chandler in town...sucks. Get there early...no parking.

Half the size it was recently, and still hit and miss whether they have what you need in stock. But it's pretty much the only option in the area for marine parts. Most of the staff are pretty helpful
