You have very friendly staff and the owner is very knowledgeable and willing to give advice on food and treats. Our dog always come back fresh and happy. There's a doggy day care for work hours but we haven't tried it yet. Overall great place. The prices are decent for the area and we will continue to go here for our grooming needs!

Highly recommend! I bring my dog here for grooming sometimes but also regularly use their self-wash stations and they are great. Highly recommend Elizabeth for grooming. She’s attentive and very patient with dogs (especially with more anxious and stressed dogs). Not sure what his name is but the gentleman at checkout is also great if you need recommendation about products or food. Shout out to him! He made us switch to their fresh food for our dog and we don’t regret it. Thank you to the team at Dogromat for their great service. We are and will stay loyal customers!

I have used the self dog wash here multiple times. The place is new, big, and clean. There is a weird vibe with some of the employees. There is one female employee is always super kind and smiley whereas everyone else has a cold vibe to them. I really don’t like that they give you a diluted shampoo bottle that’s basically 90% water and 10% shampoo. My dog has a thick coat so I really need to shampoo twice to get him clean and by the end of his bath, I’ve basically used almost all of the shampoo water. This isn’t my favorite place to bring my dog but when I can’t take him to his usual place, I’ll bring him here.

Just love this place! It's affordable and folks are super nice and helpful. I bring my dog Loki here for a bath and nail trim every few weeks - easy peasy. Heard their grooming services are top notch too. Glad to support this local business that's been in Marina for years.

Edit 01/23/22: we went to the new location on Lincoln Blvd today. It’s beautiful and spacious. And the individual enclosed bath stalls are still there, which one if the reason we go to the Dogromat. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Congratulations on the new location!I’ve only used the self-wash, but everything has always been great. They have shampoo options to choose from, plenty of large, soft towels, a wash cloth. I love the individual fenced areas. My dog is not a fan of baths so even if she manages to jump out, she’ll be contained. But I’ve received a text this week they were moving to Lincoln blvd. not very convenient but we’ll give it a try.

local small business with a spacious interior! truly a one-stop shop for all routine pet needs, daycare, grooming, self-wash, and foods/snacks. Mr.Darcy has been coming here since he was a young puppy, and just dashes into the store once we are parked every time. Having a dedicated parking lot is such a nice bonus being in LA!

Love this place! I usually take my pup in for the self wash since I don’t mind doing it and love spending that time to get him used to baths more but I didn’t have time to do that today. I ended up taking him in for grooming since he played in mud a few days ago and they took him in without much notice. Took about two hours and when I got him back he looks like a brand new dog. They did an incredible job with the sanitary trim, the deshed, and left his fur looking whiter than ever. This is my new favorite place to take him. His last groomer ended up telling me he could no longer work on him because he was “too big”. Dogromat and staff took him in pretty late notice especially considering how massive he is (Saint Bernard) and did a killer job. If I could give a higher rating I would especially because their prices are great. 11/10 would recommend!

We use this self serve dog wash 2x monthly. Rarely have to wait. Water pressure is always good. Blow dryers are forceful. With adjustments. Also, inside groomers.

I have been taking my pets here for more than 30 years. The ownership changes, but service has kept me returning. I now have a mini dachshund. His nails are large and fast growing. I take him once about every 2 weeks to keep them a reasonable length. The cost is very reasonable ＄10.00 with no appointment required！

I gave an extra star only because the people at the counter are nice. The haircut is awful. I showed a photo of my dogs usual haircut (bottom photo), picture on top is what I got. I’m not happy. Also they have you pay and therefore tip before bringing the dog out. $75 plus tip for this?! Never again.

Loved it. The bath has a wood bottom and much more comfortable for my dog to stand. The dryer is great because it is powerful but not so much that he wanted to jump down. I did the self wash and it was so much easier than a tub at home. Also loved that the nozzle for the bath is adjustable. Great water pressure nut still gentle.

This place has everything you need for a Self dog wash, shampoo / leave in conditioner / ear cleaner etc… They even have treats (I needed them since my dog started getting fussy toward the end). Friendly staff, owner is so nice!! They partnered up with a non anesthetic dental cleaning vet and I also took my dog here and loves it!! Definitely recommend.

I was a customer for many years the owner Sharonwas abrupt and rude with me many times but the last time prompted me to write this review. I booked an appointment for my dog to get groomed and two days afterwards I got a call saying that my dog was too old to be groomed by them. this came out of nowhere and she was not compassionate about it at all but extremely rude. I rarely ever write a bad review but in this case it's warranted.when I asked her what warranted her to cancel she was abrupt yelled at me said your dogs too old!and hung up the phone on me. if she's that inconsiderate with a human I can only imagine how inconsiderate she would be with the dogs.

Dogromat is a place where you feel like home. The owners are hands on and really care for your pet. My dog Bijou is sometimes challenging and doesn’t like groomers. This is the only place I am able to take her in LA. Each time I take her there, she seems to become better at adapting to getting groomed thanks to her groomer Louis. Marisol is also awesome too is good with cats. The owners always shares new treats to try with Bijou, and will even give me a call to let me know when a product comes in stock. This is a place where they truly care about both the pets and their human.They relocated to a new spot and went all out. I believe they are also adding a day care soon.Would highly recommend!

We’ve taken our dog here like 3 or 4 times over the past 8 months for their grooming services. The first time we took him they worked on him for like 4 hours and it honestly was maybe the best cut he’s ever gotten. Not only was it an amazing cut but the total with tip is only $90.The next time we call up to get an appointment they tell us that groomer no longer works there so we go with the next available and the cut is just fine. We asked for deshedding that time and that was also fine. He’s definitely had better but definitely had worse. Every time after it’s pretty much the same quality cut and for some reason is a little closer to $120 with tip. (Nbd he’s a 55lb Aussie that’s standard)This past time we took him they called us to pick him up 1.5 hours after we dropped him off, and the cut was eh. He smells great but he’s got a few tufts in certain spots and overall it’s not as neat as it could’ve been. The price for this final cut was $150 with tip. They recently changed their pricing structure (and we didn’t check) and to hit the double whammy he gained some weight and now at 57 lbs is considered a large dog.All in all we haven’t had terrible experiences here and I think if you find the right groomer here they can do an amazing job. All the staff have always been lovely to us and our dog but for the price the quality isn’t where it should be for us.

Bleeding Nail! Cut nerve!I called today to make an appointment for my 12 pounds dog, Minette. They said they weren’t busy today and that she could come get a trim at any time. This place is usually busy and I usually have to make an appointment.I asked for the nails to be filed only not cut. They said there was an extra charge and I said no problem. Filed only. Our dog came back with her nails cut and one bleeding cut nerve. They said they wouldn’t charge for the trim and that they were sorry and that today they are very busy which it isn’t the case at all. They took her to the back to put some powder to stop the bleeding and cleaned a bit. I should have taken a picture before they did that. There was blood on their floor too.Never coming back here ever again. They offered a free trim next time, but I will never bring my dog here again. Since I moved to Venice, I always came here to the Dogromats, but I will now look for somewhere else to go. Very saddened by this situation.

They fit my dog in last minute on a Saturday! It was his first time getting a cut and they were so gentle and kind with him. It was only $70 for a bath/cut/nail trim/ear clean...heck of a deal. Beautiful space, will be my go-to spot.
