I originally came here to return some thing from Amazon for a friend, but noticed all the fresh produce so I had to stop and get some things. I was really impressed by the fresh fish department. Everything looks extremely fresh and I couldn't smell any sign of fish or cleaners. They had several varieties of fresh wild, caught fish, as well as farm raised. The wild caught sockeye salmon was previously frozen but looked like it had just thawed. There was a variety of breads at the baked goods section but they didn't have a fresh loaf of sourdough or French like Vons has. If you'd like salad, this is the place to go. They had all kinds of fresh, organic greens ready to go. They also had a nice hot bar in salad bar. In the front there was a variety of grab and go fresh meals. The service was top-notch. Parking was a little tight but they had plenty of handicap spots and they also have grocery pick up spots available.

Biggest reason I go here is on Fridays oysters are dozen for $12 with an Amazon Prime membership. Oh, they also have Poppi and Olipop prebiotic sodas cheap as well. Parking normally sucks for this small strip mall, but a good thing is this is right off the 5. On my last visit, I waited at the dessert counter for a while before I was helped by an unwelcoming employee. Got the pecan tarts, and they weren't worth the wait nor her attitude haha. Other employees were happy and eager to help when needed.

Nice location. But they only have breakfast in the weekends.No dine-in area they turned it into packing area for packing for delivery.Who is doing their social media to reply copy and paste and don't seem like they read reviews.

Overall I like the store; however, with private shopping, the isle and parking lots have become chaotic to a point I just go to Gelsons across the street.Also, more and more people are bringing their pets dogs into the store. Clearly these are pets and not service animals. I almost ran one over with my cart because it was sniffing and veering from its owner.It would be nice if people respected the service animal only request of the store. It would also be nice, if the store management would do something about it!

Whole Foods in Del Mar is a great place to shop for groceries, especially if you're looking for vegan options. They have a wide variety of plant-based foods, including vegan meat substitutes, dairy-free product, egg replacements etc. I was impressed by the selection and quality of these items.One thing that stood out to me during my visit was the friendly cashier named Seth. He not only provided excellent customer service but also went out of his way to chat with me about microcurrent therapy and was even able to give me some recommendations! I appreciated his willingness to share his knowledge.Overall, Whole Foods in Del Mar is a great grocery store with a fantastic selection of vegan options. The friendly and knowledgeable staff, including Seth, make the shopping experience even more enjoyable. If you're in the area and looking for healthy and delicious plant-based options, I highly recommend checking out this store.

It's a jungle in the parking lot! Best of luck trying to find parking. Once inside, I was able to navigate around easily and find my usual favorites, like the veggie sushi they offer add a surprisingly reasonable price. Otherwise, you're definitely paying the snob tax here!

Amazing store great selection on a variety of items. This post is specially to shout out Jason, he did an amazing job tracking down an items that unexpected disappeared from the produce dept. He tracked the item down and found it and is letting me know when it will be delivered and on the store shelf. Employee of the month material!

Parking at the front is a bit tight. Though I think they have a big parking garage at the back. Just like any other whole foods. Prices are reasonable, produce is really fresh and good organic options. Recommended to have Amazon prime membership and Amazon visa CC to shop.

The hispanic woman with curly black hair at the customer center needs to learn how to handle the returned items. She threw them hard into the return tray like garbage in front of a customer(me) who just returned them to her. How rude. . I wonder if the items returned like this are put on display again.

The pomegranate seeds that I spent $10 on were sour and tasted like alcohol. I threw away the receipt before realizing this so now I can’t return it get a refund for the terrible produce they sold me. I also had a case of baby tomatoes with a few rotten ones. I don’t think i’ll ever be going back.

Nice clean store. I live an hour away and come here for their very good selection of fresh fish! Definitely one of the better, non fish market places for that. Always friendly employees. Richard today was awesome.Parking is horrendous but the garage behind the store helps.

I have had very bad experiences at this location on MULTIPLE occasions being accosted by unruly customers for wearing a mask. I shouldn't have to get the manager every time I go in to my local grocer because I am choosing to protect my health. Very unfortunate and why I do the majority of my shopping at Jimbo's Organic Grocer in Del Mar.

A very nice, clean, well organized Whole Foods. They have some really cool non-food items as well...kind of felt like a gift shop in that particular section! Met a friend here for tea and it was a pleasant experience, perfect meeting spot :)

The salad bar is one of the best I've seen at any WF. It's clean and fresh, with more choices than most. They have got pizza and make on-demand sandwiches too. Plenty of seating outside.

Small selection of most products, but the ones they have are mostly healthy choices. Narrow aisles and always crowded. Not quite like Trader Joe's, but way more crowded than Gelson's across the street where I prefer to shop.

Great location. Parking can be a task but I discovered as I was leaving there might be a parking garage behind the store.I was able to run through get some bananas, coffee and a couple veggies pot pies. The app always shows coffee not available and the pies are hit and miss so I went in and shopped.

I enjoy shopping here when I'm in the area. Always a great selection of unique items you can't find in most places. I love their meat and cheese departments, always great quality. Their fruits and vegetable products are nice and fresh as well.

Friendly staff! Well stocked and a wide variety of organics and quality products! I have always enjoyed my experiences here when I travel to the area. They also offer pick-up service for orders. I've never had a problem getting what I need. The only issue is parking for larger vehicles. Truck drivers need parking too and like to eat healthy! I was traveling with my sister, who drives a truck. It was hard to park.
