I love the IGA! Great grocery store for your typical needs with a good produce selection (conventional and organic) as well. I really love the local feel.The Nepali restaurant inside is a must try as well: the food is delicious and well priced ($9.99 for any entree). Everything tastes incredible with delicious spices and the staff is very friendly.

Closest convenience store from the U.C David dorms . They have Indian groceries too and a kitchen for Indian and Nepalese food . Decent enough for the students .

Westlake Market in West Davis provides a nice option for last minute groceries.Lighting is a bit dim, and staff are hit or miss. Checkout clerk barely paused using their cell phone to ring up customers, but there wasn't much of a wait

Been coming here for 6 years and have seen a few different owners. The current owners are wonderful and have turned the former coffee shop into an Indian food counter serve restaurant. I really enjoy the lamb curry! It’s the best I’ve had in California.

Love this market overall but this review is specifically for the Nepalese food served inside. WOW. I've tried the mixed vegetables, the chicken curry and the lamb curry and all were SO good. I love food from that region of the world and frankly this is the best curry I've had in Davis, and I've tried all of them. The chicken curry might actually be one of the best I've had anywhere, their cooks are seriously talented.

It is nice to have a local grocery store. It does not have the widest selection, but definitely the basics. I go there for milk, Häagen-Dazs ice cream, etc. The new owners are originally from Nepal. Very friendly. I am very pleased with the Nepali restaurant with which they replaced the deli. It provides good food and large portions for a really good price (currently $10 per dish). They also barbecue on the weekend and sell the fresh food. I'm so pleased to have this close by. Cheers!

This place used to be great. I’ve been coming here for years. They always had wonderful products. It has gone downhill in the last few months and I’ve officially decided to stop coming here.Lots of expired products, produce looks old and wilted. Owners refused to give me money back for old expired products. Unfortunately I will be shopping elsewhere

Good neighborhood grocery with most things one would like to see/get. Produce are not the highest quality but certainly one can cook something good with them. Typically I avoid buying meats here. Perhaps a perception issue but sometimes they don’t look fresh. They do have a nice beer selection with some local and regional favorites.

West Lake Market is a must. I visit this place at least 2 times a day and have slowly watched it gain inventory since the new ownership. The crew is awesome! Love this place

Pro: Nice, clean, spacy. Selection is not bad - can't say it can't be better though.Con: Prices are high, even for California. Definitely enjoys lack of competition in the neighborhood. If you're stocking up for a week, it's well worth to go extra 10-20 miles.

Love the people here. Little pricey for some items but also super convenient. Sometimes have really good deals on wine/spirits. The baked potato salad from the deli is wonderful. If there is something you want them to carry, you can request it and they will look into adding it.

Decent selection, but the staff here is great! Every time I’ve gone in someone is being helped. One of the nice ladies working at the checkout line gave my boyfriend and I Kombucha samples! I’m so glad I live nearby, this is a very nice place to get my groceries.

I really love this Market. They have nice fresh cuts daily, jazz apples and in summary very good quality food.The staff is real too. They arent automatons. Bring your own bag and bag it yourself for efficiency.And, the deli makes some pretty sweet sandwhiches, just have to ask someone to make it for you.Good good beer selection, especially if you are a sour beer type of person. If you want to chill and drink, Owl brewery is a small pub which is super kid friendly and has a good trivia night on Thurs. They focus on sours but have like one good sweet pils each time.cheers

Great neighborhood market. Manager keeps inventory relevant for customers in neighborhood. Fresh fruit and veggies. New international foods area. Has deli. Limit waiting in line by opening cash registers if more than 3 or so people checking out. Plenty of parking.

Janette is great! She’s so helpful and friendly. My girls love pushing the children’s shopping cart to help me. They enjoy the stickers she gets when we are done shopping. I have a suggestion. Maybe hide some sort of big toy in the store so that kids can busy themselves looking for it and moms can shop in peace. And change the location of the toy weekly. If they find it, they can “earn” a sticker.

Checked out their new Fusion counter. Got a grilled pork Banh Mi. I have to admit I was surprised. Tasty, well seasoned, pork in a generous portion. Definitely two meals. They need some hoisen sauce to go, but other than that, good sandwich.

The owner of this store, an old man named Harley is a terrible owner! The products are ok, but he is a very rude man that shouldn’t work with customers. I was at his store a couple times and once while there, I tried to discuss a problem regarding a past visit at his store and he was incredibly rude and dismissive to me. His staff say he has a “no-nonsense” attitude and has zero tolerance for any trouble at his workplace. He thought I was trying to cause trouble and I really wasn’t, but he kicked me out of his store and told me he would make sure I go to jail if I ever return to his store. Harley is the worst business owner I have ever seen in my entire life and I hope he loses his job as the store owner. There’s no one more powerful than him at that store as it’s not a chain, but please share this with EVERYONE you know and get the word out to avoid shopping there.

Great dollar store, Boba store, Mexican food, Chinese food, and all you can eat pizza at lunch. Good parking, near many communities. The grocery store is overpriced, but everything else is good!
