Adorable little store right off Highway 1. LOVE that the owner is taking Covid-19 precautions seriously. Honestly I bought a bottle of wine just to support the store because they support masking.

This place USED TO BE pretty laughably terrible (very expired products on shelves, super overpriced, really rude and kinda creepy owner, would try and charge different amounts for the same items sometimes...) BUT a nice family just started running the store a few months back and they're doing a GREAT JOB turning things around for the better. They just added a DELI SANDWICH / TAQUERIA to the store and I'm so happy to be able to get food there!!! Just ate their tacos for the first time today and they were epic. Watched the nice lady working there make a turkey sandwich that looked super bomb and the younger son working the register said I've gotta try the torta next time. They get the bread delivered fresh each day and grill the sandwich on a panini press. Excited to come back and try these and the other options on the menu as well. The beer and drinks are still a dollar or two more than they are at a liquor store on mission in Santa Cruz, but still much cheaper than driving back into Santa Cruz for a 6 pack. If you were scarred by previous experiences here you've got to come back and meet the family and check. Great people, happy to support them now that they've got a good thing going. Will try to snap a picture of the menu next time I'm in there as they really have a lot of good stuff on there!!

The place is dirty, the cashier is rude, the price depends of your face. You get literally ripped off. Don't go there, there is a Safeway 10 minutes down to Santa Cruz. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Cranky clerk, mediocre selection, and high prices. I suspect they get business only because they're the only place around that offers what they do. A disappointing experience for us.

I went to this lovely establishment and found excellent customer service! Also the deli is exquisite! I recommend the turkey sandwich! Is delicious and affordable!

Rip off. Don't use credit card. They will add 4% as transaction fee and will not give you the receipt. Already notified BBB and called my credit card company for an investigation. If they do it you then call your credit card company.
