I come to this PetSmart all the time with my Aunt who has a pet but I don’t. I just help her lift the heavy litter for her cat. So we were in there this past Sunday and were very pleasantly satisfied with the outstanding customer service given from Staff Associate/Dog Trainer Lucas. It was so surprising to go into a store nowadays and actually have an employee sincerely make you feel like they want to help you. I thought at 1st he was going to get annoyed when we ask for help like most stores you go to but No Lucas was so patient and kind and believe me my aunt is extremely hard to please. Lucas shared with us examples of how he deals with his own pets to give us of a clear example on how to work with my aunts. He was genuinely a nice guy. He should be running the place. No offense to whoever is Manager. Thanks Team Jefferson PetSmart they are all nice also the young lady who handles the cats in the back is a true gem. Keep up the good work you guys really make your customers feel like you appreciate our business. 😀

The App sent me to the wrong location for my online pick up order. I asked Noel about my order, and we figured out what was going on. He laughed loudly in my face and said loudly, “You’re in the wrong store!” After I showed him my phone and the app really did send me to the wrong location, he changed his tune. Will never be back because of his rude service and his lack of customer service skills.

This petsmart has numerous negative reviews about the condition of the fish. The tanks have many dead fish. I asked the young man why, he answered in a monotone rehearsed response” we get our shipments on Tuesday's, it is very stressful, sometimes the fish die” well this is Thursday and it doesn’t explain the various stages of decomposition and the other fish eating the dead fish to survive. I think PetSmart can do better.

Every time I get service by Miss D she never disappoints me. My little Chrissy is always pretty when she comes out from the groomer. Although it took a few services before I reached my final decision. Please know that this is not to discredit others work everyone does a great job my preference choice was Miss D.. she professional friendly she listens and communicates and she does a amazing job with poodle’s..Award goes to Miss D… keep up the good work thanks luck to have found you appreciate your service.!!!!

These corporations do not care about animals!As I pulled up to the pavilions parking lot (which is right next to this petsmart) I found a kitten in my cars hood. To make the story short this poor baby was running around the parking lot going inside 20+ cars for over an hour until I finally caught it. Immediately I remembered how petsmart is right next to me so I ran in there with the scared kitten trying to claw its way out. I was asking if they could just give me a paper box or just anything I could put the kitten in so I could drive with it. I explained my whole situation and they said I would have to pay $11 for a CARDBOARD BOX. The managers straight up did not care they didn’t even want to give me a cardboard box from their packages that they’re going to throw out anyways. Desperate and tired from running around for a whole hour to catch this kitten I just gave in and paid $11 for this cardboard box. Where’s the empathy?? An animal store but when it comes to saving an animals life and just putting it in a safe carrier the money is more important. So embarrassing for this corporation and their staff. I wasn’t even asking for a kennel, literally any box just so I could drive 10 mins to my house. Do better.

We had an appointment today @ 10 AM with Kelly R for grooming services for our puppy. We had booked a full cut & bath for our 4 month old dog, to which she informed us that they don't do full cuts on dogs until 6 months because it may effect their hair regrowth (weird that it even let us book this then/had it as an option?) so that they would only cut his face, paws & sanitary area. During this initial interaction, she was so dismissive and rude that I turned to my fiancé & asked if we should just take him home & wash him ourselves - but we really wanted his face trimmed so we decided to just let it go, & pay for the grooming service.When booking the grooming, I received an email confirmation that says grooming takes about 2-3 hours. *I have two other doodles of the same size that have been groomed for over 8 years, every other week, full shaves at a different PetSmart - it almost always takes 2.5 hours total for both dogs*. With this in mind, and knowing he was receiving not even close to a full shave, I figured he would be done relatively quickly. ESPECIALLY since he's a puppy - and has never been groomed before.2 hours and 15 minutes goes by. We decided to go get lunch in the same shopping center as the PetSmart, assuming he would be done in the next hour. Before going to lunch, I walked into the grooming salon just to check to see how long they thought he would be, as it would affect our lunch plans.I asked a different team member how long he would be. She then informed me that it would be a few more HOURS before our 4 month old dog (there for a bath and puppy cut), would be ready. I asked why it was taking so long, for them to tell me that it always took 4-5 hours to groom dogs. I was extremely confused & taken aback, & ended up just saying ok & leaving.I called my parents (who have the two labradoodles), & they said they have never had their dogs take that long, getting full shaves! My mother in law also works at a dog shelter, & she informed us that you should never have that young of a dog being groomed for that long, as it will traumatize the dog.I started to walk back to the Petsmart, (I was just going to tell them to give him back). I then received a call from Kelly (at this point I was standing right outside the door to the Petsmart). She told me that he had pooped/peed & she had to rewash him and thats why it had taken so long. I told her that on their email it says 2-3 hours, and explained the experiences that I had with my parents dogs. Regardless of if she had to wash him twice, he wasn't getting a full cut (or even close to that) & it had been 2.5 hours. She ARGUED with me, saying she didn't know why it says 2-3 hours on THEIR EMAIL because it always takes 4-5 hours, & that she does "6-10 dogs a day". I told her that we dropped him off at 10AM, & she told me she already had 5-6 dogs for the day at that time. Not sure why they are allowing their groomers to take so many dogs if they cant do their scheduled appointments. She then told me that she had been blow drying him & he didn't like his face done "so he was in the crate to give him a break". I asked her "So the only thing thats been done is his bath, and he's dry except for his face?" & she responded "yes", to which I informed her that I would be picking him up then (again, I'm right outside the door to Petsmart).We walked in to get him, right behind someone who had dropped off their dog at the same time. This person was there for their dog getting a full shave, & was picking up their completed animal.He was so traumatized he didn't even hardly notice we were there. His head she told me was not dry, magically dried in the 30 secs it took me to walk in after our phone call. She told us she had done "everything except his paw pads and nails".When we got home I checked him - his sanitary areas were not done, his ears were not plucked, his face hadn't been cut. Nothing.She did not apologize. I paid & spoke to a manager who did nothing other than saying he would talk to her. I paid 44$ for this mess.Do not take your dog here.

It was alright, but there just were not many pet carrier types, which is what I needed at the time. Also they only seem to have no catnip so if you want that try elsewhere.

Customer service is far less than adequate. I asked 3 people to point to the turtles and none of them were any help. One person told me he was off. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to show someone where the damn turtles are located.

Bought my friends Dog in for a SPA Groom treatment!! I explained when I came in that she was a little STRESSED given her family had to leave her for a trip to India and she was really missing them!! The young lady that checked me in though cordial wasn't very friendly!! Let me be clear she wasn't rude but didn't foster my confidence that any instructions I was giving was received. When I came to pick her up I was extremely disappointed, she didn't look finished, fresh, and like she just had a $79 grooming!! I used to bring my Doggie here all the time before she passed away last October and was always HAPPY and she Smelled GREAT for a least a few days after! Sorry she didn't look FRESH, FLUFFY or Finished!! She had been CUT slightly shorter than I wanted but no worries it's hair it'll grow back!! She had stray hairs on her legs and belly where it looked to me as if she had been Clipper cut only and no touch up with scissors at the end!! As well she didn't SMELL like she should after a $79 dollar SPA groom. When I went to pay I asked to speak to a Manager and the assistant who helped me at 1st did nothing...it wasn't until I insisted that he called the Str. Manager and took $15 00 off!! Then my STORY takes a pleasant turn when I go back and ask for the PET SALON Manager which was an AMAZING & PROFESSIONAL young man ANDRE, he listened to my concerns and asked me if I'd like her RE-DONE, "YES Thank you!! That's GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and what a MANAGER is supposed to do when things don't go well!! He was the NICEST and so ATTENTIVE, I TRULY can't say ENOUGH GREAT THINGS about my experience!! He personally re-groomed her and she Looks AMAZING!! THANK you Andre, we will definitely be back NOW, wasn't sure before you!! Petsmart you've got a STORE MANAGER CANIDATE in this young man don't sleep on him!! Promote him today!😉

Today I had an appointment at the hair grooming for my cat. The cat was returned to me with a horrible haircut, with completely hairless areas, and other parts without cleaning, the ears for example.The solution they propose to me is to bring the cat back and fix everything for free, but I don't want to bring my cat back here.

I brought my little son to the store to get fishes. Ervin was so nice and very helpful. He advised and helped me get everything necessary to start our new fishtank. He gave me useful information regarding the fishes. I would definitely come back again. Thank you very much! :)

For pick up otders this place is terrible. The staff is unbelievably rude!!!!You call and call no answer. Once you go inside there is always some kind of excuse and rudeness to go along with it.It's a shame because I really liked this location but I will start taking my business elsewhere even if I have to pay more.Even the managers or assistant that this location has are in need of some real customer service training.What ever happened to good old customer service, we have really gone down the tube with this!!!

Absolutely the worst for grooming. Last minute cancellations with no appointments available for over a week, groomers showing up to work extremely late (literally walking into the building 30 minutes late), rushed and incomplete services, lying about availability. I swore by petsmart in my old town, so I this is incredibly disappointing.

I'm into aquatics and I went into the fish department and none of the pumps were working and all the fish were suffocating they were half eating fish and some of the aquariums very sad depressing a store that's supposed to care for fish and pets I asked the guy in The fish department why isn't the pumps working he said because they're old I think that's disheartening and sick come on PetSmart get it together if you're going to sell fish sell them in good health and good condition

writing this review for my own mental health and release... every time i look at my dog i get so angry about how badly the groomer butchered my dog and changed her looki went against my better judgement to let the groomer proceed and cut my dogs hair knowing he looked frazzled as he was rushing in late to work. i didn't make a stink about the cut at the time and left a $10 cash tip... a tip, sadly to say, i regret leaving. it took me until getting home for it to register how the groomer didn't listen to the instructions, ruining her lookwith this 1-star review and venting i am going to take a deep breath and move on from PetsMart. the store isn't the worst, far from the best, the staff are cool and product selection is fine
