We have tried several so called human grade dog foods. We wanted to use the best and asked our vet for many years and a close friend also, what he recommended and he suggested we try Pure Dog Food. He had nothing to say but great things and how good it was for our dog. He said the cost was a little more, but that would be nothing to keep our dog healthy and live longer, and in the long run we would not being spending all the expensive costs of medically having to treat a sick dog, one thing that us dog lovers surely know. It doesn’t have added ingredients to try and keep the freshness like all those typical kibble pet foods that add carcinogenic ingredients that can cause cancer!! And all the flavors, different vegetables, and vitamins that are sourced and made in the U.S.A. make it #1 in our book and most of all for our Bailey! Thank you Pure Dog Food!!!!!

I have two German shorthair pointers as well as a Bloodhound and i have tried every kind of premium dog food imaginable. Pure dog food is without question the best! All three dogs love it and i love that it does not make me sick to look at, smell, or touch. When i was using Just Food For Dogs, i felt the need to disinfect my hands whenever i came in contact with it. I dreaded feeding time and often my dogs would not eat it and i had to throw it away. Pure is like feeding them organic human food. I’m beyond happy and relieved to have found this far superior alternative.

Our two dogs love Pure Dog food. I've been feeding them Pure DF for over a year and they are both triving. I do typically amend / extend each PDF container with additional cooked broccoli, cauliflower, and sweet potato, or similar vegetables. I also alternate the various PDF offerings week to week. A 7 oz container will last my two dogs about 5 days when extended with vegetables. One dog is a 7 1/2 yr old Chihuahua and the other is a 14 yr old toy poodle, both weighing about 7 lbs. Great product.

My dog Lucky and I love Pure Dog Food. He is allergic to grain and we both only eat organic food. Finding dog food that works for him is difficult. We have tried many things over the years. He eats Castor and Pollux Organic Dry food with Pure Dog Food Proactive Beef and Pumpkin mixed in for 2 weeks of the month and for the other two weeks we do the organic dry food with organic canned food on top. The difference in his coat and digestion for the 2 weeks he gets his Pure Dog Food is absolutely remarkable. His coat is shiny and cleaner. He doesnt have doggie dandruff and his eliminations are more regular and much less smelly. The same with his breath! The other two weeks he doesnt get his Pure Dog food he waits to eat instead of happily running to his bowl. His coat gets duller, he sheds more, his eliminations are less regular and definitely smell worse. His eyes arent as bright and he throws up yellow stuff. We have been doing this for 8 months now i think and tbese differences are noticable every month. If i was in a better financial position i woud only feed him Pure Dog food. I highly recommend Pure Dog Food especially for dogs with food sensitivities/allergies. We LOVE it! The customer service department is incredible and his food always get her on time and still frozen even though Pure Dog Food is in Los Angeles and I am in a small mountain town in the center of Washington.State. They care about people and their furry companions and it shows in the quality in the food and the caring customer service that they have provided for us.

Can’t say enough about how fabulous this company is. First of all, our dogs (who were previously picky eaters), devour the PURE Dog Food. They’ve been on this meal plan for several months, and never seem tired or bored of it. The company is very well managed, with incredibly quick and professional customer support. Also, the home delivery is flawless.

My dogs love this food. They genuinely look excited to eat it, which I can't say the same about their kibble. One dog has skin problems and is on a low grain diet, but he does well on this food as well.

My Millie has been eating PURE Dog Food since she was a pup. She loves Turkey Tried and True and stands at attention when I show her her chicken and parsley treat cookies. Millie will be 8 years old in May

I want to like this food, it smells good, it's convenient, my dog likes the meat in the food. So what's the problem? There is so little meat in the food, obvious just by looking at it, I decided to pull the potatoes out of the beef recipe and weigh them on a digital scale.I purchased eight 12 oz containers from Healthy Spot and four 24 oz containers from Erewhon market.Low and behold, each 12oz container had 6 oz of potatoes, and each 24 oz container had 12 oz of potatoes! 50% POTATOES? SEE ATTACHED IMAGE. THIS IS THE POTATO CONTENT IN ONE SMALL 12 OZ CONTAINER! Excuse the punch line, but where's the heck is the beef???CORRECTION I PURCHASED THE 12 OZ CONTAINERS FROM EREWHON AND THE 24 OZ CONTAINERS FROM HEALTHY SPOT.RESPONSE TO OWNER REPLY SAYING MY REVIEW IS SHADY AND THIS IS THE HIGHEST PROTEIN CONTENT IN THE INDUSTRY:THATS THE REPLY TO A VERY REAL AND CONSTRUCTIVE REVIEW? THE IMAGE CLEARLY SHOWS THE PROTEIN CONTENT: LITERALLY 50% POTATOES. WHAT SEEMS SHADY AND DOWNRIGHT DISHONEST IS SAYING THATS THE HIGHEST PROTEIN CONTENT IN THE INDUSTRY.

Very disappointing. Barely anything other than rice in the container. I don't know if I got the bottom or tail end of a batch, but there's barely any meat and maybe one tiny green dot of broccoli. This is just a $7 container of rice. Stay away.
