I am writing a review based off of my dog's recent grooming experience. First and foremost, Elisheba did a wonderful job with her. Dodger (my dog) HATES going to the groomer, so I usually give her a trazodone to help keep her calm before the groomer or the vet - I forgot to do so yesterday, so upon arrival to CityDog, Dodger was trembling persistently. Elisheba scooped her up and gave her lots of love and pets, and I could feel that Dodger was in good hands. I shared with Elisheba what type of cut I was hoping for, and boy did she serve! Dodger looks beautiful, and her coat is glistening! I do have to say that the smell of dog pee in the facility is a bit overwhelming, however, I understand that they board dogs as well, so I'm not sure how preventable that is. All in all, wonderful experience and WILL be back, requesting Elisheba every time! I only thought to get photos mid-nap, so don't judge!

My dogs came out with wonderful haircuts - exactly as I asked them to groom them. One is normally anxious, and he came home rested and relaxed. They were done within 2 1/2 hours, which was perfect. Everyone was friendly. - I'll definitely be back

Very clean, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They know how to customize the experience based on a dog's temperament and comfort level. They were able to give me a socially distanced tour of the facility. Made me feel very comfortable and secure boarding my dog here! I know he will be well loved while I'm on vacation.

Our two doggos have pretty extreme anxiety about getting their nails trimmed, and Citydog is our tried & true spot for getting that done! Everyone there (special shout out to Gina & Elisheba!) always makes sure to take such good care of em! Have had nothing but good experiences here - truly so grateful for them!

Just drove 30 min for an appointment they confirmed twice only to be told they made a mistake and don’t have time for my dog. Clearly not a good business as their groomer wasn’t even willing to work with them around their mistake. Disappointing.

Extremely incompetent and poor communication at this facility. First appointment cancelled me on the same day an hour before. Called me three times because they mixed my dog up with another persons dog. Every time i call i hear dogs yelping and barking in the background, now why would i bring my dog here if the experience is so unpleasant before i even get anything done?

We've boarded Renny at Citydog for over 10 years. They always take very good care of her, and for the latest stay they went above and beyond. Renny wasn't eating well and the staff spent extra time cuddling and hand-feeding her, trying alternate mealtimes and food combinations, and letting her stay in a private "den" to alleviate stress. When we suggested tempting her with peanut butter, one staff member went out and bought some. They called frequently to update us and welcomed our daily followup calls. They would have taken her to the vet also, but fortunately that wasn't necessary. They truly care about our dog.

Citydog! Club always ceases to amaze me. I've even made it a point to venture to Culver City for my fur child's monthly grooming. They really do such a beautiful job. And, trust me, I've been to quite a few groomers. They're cleanliness and respect to the current pandemic has made me feel at ease bringing him.

Great place for those who care about their dogs! Facility is immaculate, staff friendly, efficient, and handled my dog Hamilton with loads of patience and love. Hamilton was relaxed when I returned, I got a full report of services rendered. I am very please with Citydog Club and will be using them from now on.

The staff is very sweet, knowledgeable, and friendly. My dog has a lot of anxiety and when he did his behavioral test for the day care, he seemed to be so comfortable with them which really put me at ease. I have gotten my dog groomed here and he is about to be staying overnight with City Dog in the next few weeks! The place is very clean too!

Big fan of Citydog! So happy to have found a place in my neighborhood that I can trust with my pup. I have brought my dog here for grooming as well as the day care intro and am always satisfied with the service. The facility is nice and clean, and the front staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dominic does a great job bathing my dog. I appreciate that they build trust with your animal and don't write them off like CageFree K9 Camp does. Really appreciate the call from the bather once done letting you know how your dog did and that they're ready for pick up. I haven't had to wait long to drop off my dog or pick her up. Every time I leave my dog here, I know she's in good hands and that is the most comforting feeling for any dog owner.

I made a reservation for a meet and greet. I drove 45 minutes for my reservation. When I got there they said my reservation was canceled due to me selecting that my dog is not altered. I didn’t know altered meant fixed. I let them know I didn’t receive any call, text or email that my appointment was canceled, but my dog is fixed and I had the paperwork to show. The front desk person came back and said they still couldn’t see him because they are full. I asked to speak with the person she kept going back to speak with. That person then came out. I shared everything that happened. No apology, no accountability, no customer service, no offer to sort things out in whatever way possible. She said they are full and I need to schedule an appointment in the future. That’s it! No offer to even help reschedule.I do not recommend you bring your loved ones here. The staff does not care.

The Team at City Dog Culver City, and specifically Ana, who interacted with our dog, was fantastic,. They did a great job recording our dog's time with other dogs and how he played and spent his time with both dogs and humans. Our pup came home tired and worn out from the great time he had there. City Dog also did a great job demonstrating what our dog was eating. By placing his leftover food in bags it allowed us to see how much he was not eating (characteristic of our dog). We knew he was eating based on his desired to play and socialize and not because he was limited to food. Our dog loves boarding overnight at City Dog and he does not smell awful when we pick him up because the Team keeps the play yards so clean. We appreciate that!

This is one of the few places my dog will walk right into and not look back. The facility is clean and the staff are always super friendly and knowledgeable. We really like the grooming services and are just starting with daycare. It's nice that they board as well so that he can be somewhere familiar while we're away.

It’s a great place for your dog if you work , they can walk and feed your dog and treat them with love. Every time I get the dogs there they received them so happy.

I spent a significant amount to board my dog while I fulfilled my military obligations at a base across the country.While my dog was there he got sick and stopped eating. We requested we be called if he continued not to eat and they did not at all, despite his continued lack of eating.I can forgive these as things that happen in kennels. But, the icing on the cake is that when my wife picked him up, they had lost his collar and leash. My wife requested they call if they find it. A few days later, she calls--it goes unanswered so she left a voicemail. She did this every few days and they ignored her call every single time and have yet to call back.This utter lack of communication reeks of dishonesty and I feel it likely extends to other parts of their business as well.It's a fine facility but the staff is not transparent and wholly unresponsive in any way.

I am very glad I found a safe and friendly place for my dog to go. I love that you can watch them on the webcams and see what they are up to! Having such a non-dog loving dog, I was worried about his social interactions. But to my surprise, he loves going to daycare. He socializes and has a great time, I was totally wrong about him. The staff are all nice and recognize him when he comes in. A+ on daycare!

I called CityDog 3 minutes before they closed to speak with a friendly rep who helped me schedule something for the upcoming weekend. This was me and my Airedale Terriers first visit and I was weary from past groomers not familiar with her breeds cut style, not only did the receptionist assist, the groomer spoke with me before to make sure we were on the same page and I was reassured, my dog looked absolutely beautiful and she was ready within the time they advised when I dropped her off🤗 We will for sure be back! Using the online registry prior to visiting was helpful with paperwork and minimal exchange for safety precautions as well which was much appreciated. Thank you again!

Citydog saved me when my local boarding facility canceled my reservation last minute. I hadn’t been there in years but, once I submitted my vaccine info, they took my dog no problem.If I didn’t live in the Valley, I would use them 100% of the time.

My dog has separation anxiety and he only does well at CityDog. He gets so much more anxious at other day care places. CityDog matches doggies to their size and temperament. We love that we can add a walk or walks which gives our dog a break in his stay. Environment is clean and the staff is cheery and positive. We appreciate that they welcome our pupp with his anxiety and the staff does their best to help him. We can tell when we pick him up how well he does there. He is not super stressed or whiny as he is at other places.So Grateful for your caring staff!

Great doggy daycare! I highly recommend this place for daycare and short term boarding. It's all indoor playpens. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They keep the facility squeeky clean all the time. Our dogs I'll love it here. We've been talking them for 5 years now. They have convinient hours before and after rush hour traffic. When boarding, it's best to call ahead and schedule the days.

Took our rescue greyhound to the Culver City Citydog! Club for a al la carte nail trimming. We were very worried about how our skittish rescue would react, but the employees made her feel very welcome. when they brought her back to us, she actually tried to run into the back where she had gotten her trim! Dominic E. was our groomer and he was excellent. He clearly loves dogs and is awesome with them! He came out to (socially distantly) tell us how the trim went and give our dog some more scratches before we left. we will definitely be back, in particular to see Dominic E. The other employees were also helpful, both on the phone when I called to ask questions and schedule, and in person.

would highly recommend avoiding this place and taking your dog to a small business that deserves your business. this place is garbage. my dog's grooming appointment has been cancelled three times in a row with little to no heads up. no discount on a future appointment because of their inability to manage a schedule. nothing.

My dogs appointment was at 9:00 am and we arrived at 9:13 a little late due to unexpected construction on their street.. however supposedly there is a 15 minute grace period but since their clock appears to be 3 mins fast, they would not groom my dog and unapologetically didn’t seem to care about us being long time customers. We disputed over a 1 minute difference in time and when I ask to speak with a manager, I was told there was no manager working.. which seems odd to run an establishment where there is noone to make reasonable executive decisions in how to treat regular and now former customers. Sometimes being petty can cost more that being flexible. We will not be returning but based in the attitudes of the staff, it’s obvious they don’t care!

So happy my boy Rocco loves City Dog!!! I knew I would but its more important for him. He get's excited when we turn down there street! The Play park is the best, love to take a peak on the doggy cam to see him having a blast. Also just tried the Grooming dept and that was fantastic. He smelled and felt so great after his play day. Very Happy to have this in our hood. Thanks again City Dog, you will be seeing Roc soon!!!

My dog was at the Culver City dog city club for almost three hours! When I called he was just finished. That means he was in a cage for two hours! They could have called us to let us know that the groomer was running late but instead let our sweet anxious dog wait all that time. Outrageous and unprofessional!

I've been taking my pup, Betty, to Citydog! Club Culver City for almost two years now and she absolutely LOVES it! Even after all this time, she can barely contain her excitement as we walk up to the front door where the staff always greet her so warmly. As a pup parent, I love that I can check in on her via the webcam system, and that I get a "report card" at the end of her stay. While Citydog! Club Culver City is the cleanest daycare facility of all those I initially toured, I love that I can get Betty groomed prior to bringing her home after a long day of playtime with her friends. Thank you Citydog! Club for taking such good care of my fur baby!!

My dogs appointment has been cancelled, apparently genesis can’t groom my dog because she has to leave at 5... my appointment was for 4pm it doesn’t make any sense! I was also disappointed on my last appointment as she didn’t do anything requested on my notes I requested to not have his ears trimmed and they were trimmed .. ALOT... any how they are not returning my calls either! As I was going to let it slide once again but they’re not returning my calls to re book so Another customer lost well done city dog club Culver City

I can't say enough about CityDog. My dog is a rescue and is afraid of new people and she loves her groomer so much. They had curbside pickup and drop-off available and they wore masks so I felt very comfortable taking her in. They did such a great job like always.
