Nice supermarket here in Crescent City. Had everything we needed with many items on sale. Did our shopping and wound up with dessert of a Ben and Jerry's for $2.97. Can't beat that. Needed help at custoner service desk for a couple questions and he was outstanding.

Bought groceries here today. After arriving back to my car and looking up my next destination on my GPS, security approached my car and asked me to leave. I am a paying customer that was asked to leave the premises after only being in the store/in my car there for far less than an hour and spending my money here. Very poor service. Visiting here from Colorado to see the ocean but this town is horrible. I regret coming here.

I just try cash a check and I worked in a store before and know when you don't properly run the check through the till. Lady is racist and told I print the check myself off line and it's a pizza hut employee check. She judged me because of my skin color. I know how till work I ran one for many different companies and feel disrespected by this lady.

On Saturday night the cashier was awesome. We were short a few bucks and he covered us. But he was very sweet and genuine. Good to come across people that still care and I'm very grateful to pay it forward.

The store associates in every departments including the Managers are very helpful and have always treated me with respects and always have gone out of their ways to help me find the items I myself could not find. They are professionals in their respective departments. The manager(s) have gone over and above for me whenever I needed help. Please keep up the great work...my respect to all of you.

Descent priced items but they were out of ice and firewood both times we went, so plan accordingly if you haven’t made it into town yet since both of those are apparently hard to find everywhere.

prices are so above average that we left empty handed..large vagrant Population in parking lot and at store entrance definitely didn't help the overpriced experience. Watching people shoot up drugs right next to the entrance ,and cursing at each other was an extremely unpleasant experience. There is a Walmart a couple miles north, I recommend you drive right past this unsafe place. As I was sitting in my vehicle waiting on my husband I was stared down by one of the homeless women through my side window. This parking lot is as sketchy as they get! If you are a female travelling alone, I cannot stress enough how unsafe the parking lot is at the store. Reading through some of the other reviews I see this has been an ongoing problem, and I am not the first female to post this. The store comments thier concern, but they are obviously not concerned enough or this would not be an issue that I see comments over 8 months old voicing same concerns..run far away.

It was nice to visit a grocery store in a new town far away from all of the grocery stores that I am used to. The store was very clean and well stocked. The seafood section was great. There was a huge selection of fresh fish. All of the employees were so friendly and helpful. The produce was very fresh and well stocked. Non of the apples were bruised and the isles smelled so fresh. I have to make a special thanks to Michelle for helping me pick out some fresh melons. She had an experience and knowledge of melon ripening. She was so cute and helpful. Next time I stop by I might have here show me how tho husk the corn with one hand. The beer selection was great as well. And they had a huge wine selection. I will definitely stop by again when I am camping down the road. It was only a twenty minute drive from the Mills Creek campground. I will have to stop by and say hello to Michelle and see how the fresh melons are.

This store has fallen on hard times. Not so much the high prices. I mean, it is in California. The condition of the store itself was just terrible. Empty shelves, lack of staff, dirty floors, doors blocked off at 5 PM, condition of the store over all was sad.

A women was in front of me in the self check she had paid for her food items with food stamps and was trying to pay for her other items with another card the lady who works there got really rude and told her that it didnt accept split payments . she said she had before and the lady jumped down her throat and told her the machine had gotten an update and would not accept split payments any longer . the lady was crying she had no cash except on her card . so i added 5 dollars and paid for her and then i told the lady that adding cash still made it a split payment she said we dont need people like that in our store she must have been 80 years old i feel ashamed that this my town and my local store .I will not be going back .

Not really stocked. The bakery baskets were empty. Small store. Not very staffed, people don't like to come to work I hear. Nice staff that are doing their best under the circumstances, give them a break. Best to do self check-out. But one of the nicer stores for the area.

Find everything but sour cream of 24 oz was $2.99on sale and they over charge me regular price $ 3.99 also dressing mayonnaise was on sale $ 3.99 and they over charge me $ 4.79.I didn't notice until I was home cooking.

It is a Safeway grocery story. But they have a serious problem with homeless beggars all around the store and in the parking lot. they say they cannot do anything because they do not own the property. Really? Disgusting to annoying to scary at times. Been in maybe 20 times, always someone around to spoil the experience.

Beware plant based /vegan /vegetarian people. A worker admitted they cross contaminate and cook their potatoes with the meat. Real "big surprise" the company and management want to save money. Definitely appreciate that honesty, though.

It's ok..but they raise there prices for the summer because of the tourists...so we have to pay for it.And don't buy and untrimmed meat..half of the meat on the bottom is all fat and bone

Terrible store will never go back. I tried to use the water machine out front, I use my card and it charged me twice but would not dispense water. I went inside and the manager basically said I don't know what to tell you. So I figured I would try using cash but didn't have any so I purchased something and tried to get change back and asked for one of the dollars in quarters and the cashier refused to give me quarters. She was the one who got the manager for me, she knew what I was doing but still refused me quarters.
