I have a senior (14 yo) Golden who struggles with summer yeast & matting, they helped me out and the prices were amazing. They do prefer cash or check if you can. Highly recommend, and park in the lot in the back the entrance is back that way, not the street side.

The ladies were nice so I wanted to like them but our fluffy furbaby came back fully buzzed despite the request for a short trim - we loved how fluffy he looked but now we'll just have to wait for his hair to grow back. In addition, despite having an appointment, this took nearly 3 hours. This was his first haircut and I'm now afraid to bring him to get trimmed anywhere.

I finally found a willing and caring groomer in Carol at A Gentle Touch. My 11 year old terrier mix, with a balding back, gets a nice haircut, nail trim and teeth brushed with TLC. He wasn't happy being left the first time but hasn't minded going back since.

I didn’t catch the young gals name that groomed both of our golden retrievers but she did a great job! They love to roll in the dirt and mud the second they get the chance so they don’t feel soft or clean often, but they have never felt as soft as they did after leaving the salon! The young gal was super friendly and kind, as was the older woman working there too? Maybe the owner ? The prices were very reasonable and they got both of our dogs in and out in under 3 hours which is wildly fast in my experience.

We called on short notice to have our Scottish Terrier groomed since we live on the road full-time in an RV. They worked us in on a Saturday and did an absolutely amazing job. The owner is a fully certified groomer with decades of experience. We couldn't be happier with the results!!

My puppies are so happy after being groomed at Gentle Touch Grooming. I am definitely going back. I live in Oregon and travel down to Crescent City, CA to see my sister. She recommended her grooming shop, GTG. It's fabulous to know my puppies can get groomed while we're visiting there. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have a golden-doodle, he’s 6 months old and needed a haircut really bad. Everywhere I called was booked up and not taking new clients. My MIL called A Gentle Touch Grooming and Carol got him in within a few days. She did an amazing job.He’s a big dog and was really hairy. Idk how she did it but we’re so thankful she did!!!

So I took my first puppy in for his first hair cut.I was a little concerned as The place looked kinda messy. Then I looked closer and realized the had just trimmed two large poodles and they looked great and calm. So I relaxed I left my puppy there for 2 1/2 hours They did everything I asked and he didn't seem traumatized. His hair was a little uneven but it was his first cut. So overall They did a pretty good Job and did everything I asked.

My husband and I were visiting in Crescent City for a week. We took our Newfoundland there who had not been groomed for 2 years (because we have no large dog groomers where we live). They did an amazing job on her. They cleaned her ears and teeth, clipped her nails, bathed her and brushed the mattes and dead fur out. What an amazing job!! Thank you!!

Don’t bother calling for an appointment. Although my dog has been groomed there three times prior, and is a really nice and easy to groom dog…..after calling on four separate occasions to get an appointment, no one would call me back. Maybe it’s because my phone has an out of town area code although I’ve lived in Crescent City fir over three years? IDK. Either way…..Very unprofessional.

First experience here and will not return. Carol had answers for my questions (and I was thankful) as we’ve never taken our dog here before. We were quoted one price, I repeated it to make sure and when the job was done we were charged more. Period. The grooming was ok, a bit uneven here and there, but I really liked the face grooming though. Again, your word should mean something.

I love her so much. I live in eureka and I can't get into a groomer for the life of me. We came to crescent city for 2 days and got her in immediately, it was super fast, super cheap, and my pup looked so much better. I'll be making the trip to get her groomed here from now on
