I grew up in Courtland and still love to visit Toby and Bully at Courtland Market for the best sandwiches on the delta. It is a small town market with all of the things small town markets carry but with the bonus of a really nice meat counter. Very nice people and awesome service. I honestly cannot say enough great things about it. I burst with love for this store! Come visit it and get a yummy sandwich or carnitas lunch!

Well, I have a soft spot in my heart for this place as I remember my parents taking me here to rent VHS tapes as a child! While they don't rent movies anymore (ah-doy!) they have a decent array of grocery staples, and tons of snacks. You'll find what you need or at least a good substitute rather than having to go all the way to Elk Grove

5 stars with a caveat: before it changed ownership a few months ago, and we lost the great, super long-term employees there, it had the BEST, though limited, meat selection at ridiculously low prices. Old-style butcher counter (great service implied) with a smile and dedicated service, like they actually were appreciative of your business (wait. . .what???). Absolutely delicious sausages, tri-tip and ribs. It remains to be seen if the new owners will carry on that same tradition of service, quality, and small-town personality. Somehow, I'm doubtful that that is possible, but my fingers are crossed. But it will never be the same without Gene and Bully behind the counter. Miss them already, but they totally deserve their well-earned retirement!

This place has the potential to be so much more than what it is. Way way overpriced.almost to the point of gouging. We are only 8 miles out of SAC. So charging almost $6for a box of oatmeal u can get at the dollar store is truly highway robbery. Flat out taking advantage of the local community who can least afford it. This place is not some. Artsy fartsy boutique for " outsiders"...it's an every day kind of market that *should* serve as a lifeline for the local community. But not at those prices.

This is a small store in Cortland California. It is very well-stocked pretty much everything that you need. The owners are very friendly.

Horrible on a bike ride and cashier gave us a hassle for wanting to use plastic(credit/debit) so we peddled to Hood. No hassle and used said cards.
