Stopped in Coulterville during a Sunday drive. Stumbled on to the Coulter Cafe in the General Store. The Coulterville Visitor's Center is also in the General Store. Staff was personable and attentive. Cozy and rustic ambience. Big outdoor patio area on the side. Good menu selections and Daily Specials. The food was pretty good, tasty! Paid with Square.

Delicious food. A homely atmosphere with a nice cozy design. The sausage in the traditional breakfast was flavorful. Potatoes were crispy and crunchy. A great place to stop by!

This place is so adorable and has a very "family business" vibe. We went for the Sunday brunch. Chicken and waffles. The chicken was perfectly cooked and super juicy. The batter for the chicken was crispy, flaky and light. The waffles were fluffy inside and crispy outside. At one point the chef came out to check the reaction to her cooking. She should be proud as confirmed by the fact that very few people even noticed her out there. They were too fixated on the food. If you have a chance to make it here for the brunch. Do it. I almost wish i hadn't tortured myself by looking at this picture to post it. Soooo good

This place has come a long way! Really cozy restaurant in the hills with a wonderful staff. The food is a *little* pricy, but the quality and flavor is there to match the expense. The grilled chicken burger was absolutely delicious! And the iced coffee was too notch, as well.Catch them on the right day, they even have live performances.Between the Happy Burger in Mariposa and the Coulter Cafe in Coulterville, Mariposa County is cultivating an amazing lineup of diners that rival anything at sea level.

Good, but pricey hot breakfast. Ypu get one choice of meat - two slices of bacon, two sausage patties or ham. You can't mix some of this and that - lucky my wife agreed to swap with me. I'm not sure the counter lady (there's no table service for breakfast) didn't like me or maybe she didn't have had her coffee yet.I would go again as it is the only place in that area.

Nice cosy little spot, which also has a mini mart) with delicious breakfast food. The fried potatoes which came with skin and salted were very memorable.

I’ve had a very poor experience at this business not only the last time I was in there they overcharged me on my bill, but I have received two dishes where the pork was still raw and I ended up getting food poisoning from it. I do not recommend eating at the coulterville Cafe, if you want to spend less money and get a tasty bite to eat head over to Main Street deli way better price is way better food way better customer service.

Excellent! I've driven by many times and never realized they were a real restaurant, much less that they had great breakfast food and mimosas.The potatoes were perfect, nice crispy outside and soft inside. Sausage patty very tasty.I hope to come back soon for a grass fed burger!Do yourself a favor, go in and grab a meal!

My wife and I had lunch here today, Sunday. It was very smoky from the fires blanketing Califoenia, but even so we had a delightful repast in their large covered outdoor patio. Tables were far apart and the burger was incredible. Locally grown beef. Very reasonable prices. Terrific local brewed beer from Around The Horn brewery in nearby Big Oak Flat. Nice people running it with and interesting back story.

I really love the food at the Coulter Cafe. It doesn't matter what I order, it's always the best. I just had the eggs Benedict and they were perfect. The sliced potatoes that came with the meal had a perfect hint of rosemary and were delicious. The owners buy organic products. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Coulterville. Expect a treat!

Such a cool, quirky little place! Really good, fresh food with a decent selection in the cafe, but it's also a visitor's center for the area and mini-general store with some unique options! Staff is friendly and provides and uses masks and sanitizer, lots of outdoor seating on a lovely, partially shaded patio or front porch. We'd lived on the 49 corridor for years and only just made it to Coulterville. Check it out! We heard the museum is worth checking out, but only open on the weekends, but this location also had some information on the town and history.

One of the best places I have ever eaten. Amazing creations come out of the tiniest little place. They even offer pbnj for the kiddos. Nothing greasy and a quite a bit of variety. The mushroom burger is the best

We were six adults & 2 toddlers arriving 11:30 & had choice of breakfast or lunch & outdoor patio all to ourselves. Toddlers had a ball rounding a circular pathway where adults could relax, keep watch & enjoy our delicious yet varied meals. Gracious & friendly staff.Going again next week!

The service and the food is awesome and delicious. We always have a great meal up in Coulterville at the Coulter Cafea. The general store has a lot of really great products and snacks to go! Their outdoor dining area is wonderful to hang out for brunch on Saturday!
