I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Cakewalk. Jennifer and her family were incredible when it came to helping put together everything for our elopement. She was so flexible when it came to last minute additions and guest list changes. The way she designed and put together my reception and our florals were so beautiful and the food was incredible! Our guests still talk about how amazing the food was. She took so much weight off our shoulders when it came to planning the decor and pulling the event together. Thank you so much Jennifer ☺️

I was so incredibly happy with cakewalk heirloom baking co for patiently working with me and bringing my vision to life. I will never forget, and will cherish forever the spectacular views, decor and display they brought to life. They had to make TWO hiking trips carrying all these tables and chairs, food and decor up high elevation and in the dark! If you are looking for a caterer in the California Yosemite/Nevada area, look no further. They are family owned and operated using their own farm fresh, organic, non-GMO ingredients, and also have their own wedding flower cutting garden that they use for all the florals and decor which I thought was super cool! Everything looked amazing and tasted so unique, fresh and delicious! so much so that I barely got to taste the cake! I really only got to take a bite of the cake after cutting it because my family ate it all up while we were doing photos😅Jennifer and her family were so humble and kind I felt like we were just hanging out with our friends. You will not be disappointed. I promise.

Posting with some delay- we hired Cakewalk to cater an anniversary dinner for 14 people in October 2022, and we could not have been happier with their work. Jennifer and her family were wonderful! The food was prepared on the spot and delicious - our guests still talk about how good the vegetarian options were in particular. The setup was flawless. My communication with Jennifer over the months prior to the event was seamless, and she did a great job of walking me through details and logistics that I did not have prior experience with. Overall, I could not have been happier with how everything went, and I would happily reach out to them again for future events.

We ordered brunch, cake, & flowers for a Yosemite elopement last month. There were numerous communication challenges throughout my interactions (I was informed later that the event manager was away, so hopefully that will be resolved when she has returned). There were issues with brunch food items being overly salty/burnt- these specific items were ultimately refunded following the event. Flowers were not as planned/discussed; corsages & boutonnières did not match bouquet. I was told following the event this was due to blooms not surviving drought, but unfortunately was not contacted prior to the wedding to help decide alternatives. We personally did not like our cake flavor (vanilla), but we were not able to taste test in advance due to distance. I reached out following our event and expressed my disappointments. I did receive a response and partial refund which was appreciated.

We used cakewalk for our Yosemite elopement picnic and it was a disappointment. I gave a generous three stars because Jennifer was SO lovely when we first started working together, but the communication was beyond lacking. It took me almost two weeks to get in touch with her (1 week from elopement day)- I emailed multiple times, reached out via IG & left two voicemails before I heard back.I had no problem paying top dollar for our picnic because I prefer to support small businesses but our picnic wasn’t right. We were promised many items that simply were not packed in our picnic which altered our big day. The basket they gave wasn’t what was on the attachment flyer & didn’t match our color scheme (she had a picture of my flowers), and the flower on the cake didn’t match either. The ice pack was too small to help keep our food cold, we were missing an appetizer, missing the fresh pressed juice, the blanket & thermoses.Maybe the service would’ve been better for a larger crowd, but I expected more for our elopement day and a price of $468

I was given her vendor info from my reception coordinator at rush Creek Lodge.Jennifer had great communication throughout the process and was so hospitable and sweet when my fiancé and two girls drove down from San Jose for q cake tasting. Jennifer had champagne and sparkling juice for the kids to sip on while we tasted all the yummy flavors and talked about our style of the wedding.When she sent me the sketches of her vision I was blown away at the creativity and how much it completely was perfectly representative of the style and feel of classy/ rustic I was hoping for.When I finally saw the cake on the day of I was even more blown away. JUST STUNNING! Oh and it tasted like perfection as well. Her sugar flower work is so detailed, all around 10 stars for the creativity, hospitality, professionalism and taste of her work. I would recommend her to anyone in the area hands down.

Perfect for our occasion. We worked with Cakewalk from 1500 miles away, and we have no regrets. The communication was spot-on, they worked with our unique setup (we got married in a state park), and they blew us away with unique food options and cake flavors (ask them what's seasonal!). We never met face to face or tasted anything prior to our wedding day, and they created a delicious menu and beautiful catering setup for us - that we didn't see until we arrived after the ceremony! Even with our tiny wedding/elopement, every detail was touched. They were hands-on at the right time and hands-off at the right time. They truly made this stress-free, gorgeous, and tasty! Highly recommend.

My experience overall was just okay. The communication before our wedding was great until I needed to pay my final invoice. I would call and email with no response everyday a week before our wedding then if I did get a response the owner would say she would send it by a certain day and would never follow through.My husband and I were from out of state so we didn’t know who to go to for catering or wedding cakes around Yosemite park area. We We picked cakewalk bakery only because we didn’t want to deal with multiple vendors. After our wedding ceremony we went back to have dinner at our Airbnb and the food/cake was already delivered. The cake was NOTHING what I ordered. If I pay $300 for a 6 inch base with 4 inch topper Cake I expect it to look like what I ordered. Plus the taste of the cake was awful. Not a single person ate it because it was so bad. The food was very bland and the side dishes were not what we ordered. We asked for broccoli or asparagus and got roasted cauliflower.Overall everyone was disappointed. If I would’ve known that it was going be that bad I would’ve saved my $1500 and went elsewhere.

I am so happy to have worked with Cakewalk Heirloom Baking Co for our small & private wedding reception. I live in Florida and all of my communication with Jennifer (owner) was via email. We did a video conference call once where she explained all of her services in details. Initially we were only going to get a cake but she mentioned her catering services. We were staying in a cabin in Yosemite National Park. The day of our wedding, Jennifer came to the cabin and decorated everything beautifully. There were fresh flower and small lights everywhere. She set up a dessert, cake and appetizers table. When my husband and I arrived at the cabin we were shocked to see everything. Our dinner party was composed of 12 people. Jennifer took her time to explain everything to us. She has a soothing and calm tone of voice and she even put beautiful background music. She served us wine, salad, our main course and the cake. All of her food is organic and fresh from the farm. My husband is a picky eater and I asked her to make Fettuccini Alfredo as he does like that a lot. She made us the best Fettuccini Alfredo we have ever had. She also made us espresso and provided chocolate truffles and cookies and she left us with fresh baked croissants for breakfast the next day. Jennifer's professionalism and service made us feel like we were at a fancy 5 star restaurant even though we were in our cabin. My parents even said they felt like celebrities. I cant thank Jennifer enough for such an amazing evening. My family, my husband and I truly enjoyed it. Thank you so much Cakewalk Heirloom Baking Co.

Got a Strawberry Rhubarb pie and it was delicious. It was very fresh and had great quality ingredients. I could have eaten the whole pie in one sitting. Definitely going to go back and try more of their baked goods.

A real con. We wens into the shop/baker o the 1st of June. We bought a bread for 12 dollars. Brown we were told, specialy made. She did not say more. The con?The bread had not ready to eat, had just a bit been in the oven. And as we even have not an oven, we could not wat it. Probably never been to France even
