I never leave bad reviews but I just can’t go without warning people from this!If I could give this store a negative amount of stars,I would. This store is horrible! Not only are most of the employees extremely rude and unhelpful, this store is CONSTANTLY selling expired items.This has happened to me more than 5 times in the last year and I’m now officially DONE going there.I’ve spent unfortunately thousands of dollars here because they are local, but I’ll be going out of town from now on!The first time I was pregnant and bought tomato soup, ate it for dinner only to wake up violently sick early on in the morning.Turns out it was expired by two months.Now I’m seeing expired cheese that was extremely rotten being sold from 2/14/23It is now July 2nd!How hard is it to make sure you’re not selling expired items? Or is it okay because it’s on “sale”?

Incredibly helpful staff at the deli took time to prepare a gluten free sandwich for us. They changed gloves, avoided cross contamination. Superb.

Kelley will guard the trash cans and harass those who try to use them after “they had just changed them”. She told me I can not use these trash cans because there are other ones near by. I was not loitering, simply throwing away trash in my friends car as a favor. Might I mention that I am here to pick up an employee. I feel highly uncomfortable and would not recommend coming to holiday at or near 8 to avoid this nasty women

Never a bad experience. Deli sandwiches are the absolute BEST in the north state. Gas prices are also pretty low considering other places. Friendly staff as well, nice to have in our small town of Cottonwood. Although prices are on the higher end of the spectrum, this isn’t a huge chain like WalMart so I’m not surprised. But KEEP IT UP!!!😀

Really knowledgeable and helpful staff. They helped me as it was my first time using the self checkout. Also the butcher always makes bags of bones for the dogs...complete hometown shopping experience.

Love their sandwiches. Always amazing but recommend not going a couple hours before closing. They were out of certain meats and had already shut down oven so they couldn't toast sandwiches. Otherwise still great food.

Good place to get a sandwich made for lunch. Gas is priced right as well. Service is good too! Cash for gas shuts off after 8 pm so be aware of that if looking to pay cash.

Wonderful management,best sandwiches ever,they carry the same brand bloody mary mix that win river has so I go the distance for great people and great products and quality. Recommend the sandwiches it's a must try. You will love them. 😃

I moved in the Cottonwood recently and I've been to the Holiday Market in Cottonwood several times now. The customer service is always very nice. Very friendly. Close-knit community. And their prices are pretty good too. Especially if you join the holiday Rewards Club. And from what I'm told they're deli is to die for.

Awesome locally owned market, they have everything grocery related you will ever need. Whether you are doing your weekly shopping or planning for a special meal, they have what you need. And do yourself a favor, and get a sandwich from the deli. They are excellent. For meats, the grilling tenders are amazing on the BBQ,. They definitely live up to their name . They also have a pharmacy (separate company) inside as well.

There are many Holiday Markets but this one is a favorite of mine. The employees are very warm and take extra care of their customers, and their produce is always fresh. The meat department has a butcher so you can order your cuts fresh also, and they always seem to have everything you need. I love this particular Holiday Market the best. Their bakery is superb and so is their deli!

I found this grocery store to be very clean and the employees friendly which is important to me. The store really has some nice "specialized" groceries that are not easily found in Shasta County grocery stores, I mean organics and gluten free products. My reason for a 4 star review is in my opinion I found regular groceries here to be much higher priced than any other markets where I shop. I don't mind paying for quality but I won't pay more than I personally feel is reasonable. So check it out yourself and make your own decision whether this store can fit your pocketbook for everyday shopping.

I go to this Holiday Market primarily for the gas feature. Some of THE BEST prices in town. I also get sandwiches at this location. Staff at the deli always seem rushed and "short" so that can be a little off putting, but overall good, clean store with good selection.

Great store for everyday groceries or specialty, vegetarian, organic or fine local wines. Great great great beer selection. The northstate is served by holiday foods with very capable staff who treat you so well. I even love their movie box... It gets new releases faster then the red one! Gas discounts are always appreciated as a perk. We collect points and use the free pizza and movies all the time!

This is my favorite grocery store! I live in the bay area but have a house here in Cottonwood. Every chance I get, I go grab a sandwich at the deli. Worlds best Dutch crunch and they make it fresh daily. Plus it is so clean, great produce and everyone is super friendly!
