I absolutely love this veterinarian clinic. But my only question to them is. Why would you proud cut a horse? Just asking this horse that you proud Cut has to be handled by people. That aren't used to handling horses That still act like stallions. The whole reason I had him gelded so he didn't act like a Stallion He's not stallion material, but yet he still acts like it. I've been in the industry for over 50 years. And I know the difference from a proud cut to a gelding. I would love a response to this.

Unprofessional, incompetent doctors and front staff. It is painful how bad they are! Their doctors have no knowledge or basic veterinary information. I have given them a few chances for horses, and goats. They never fail to let you down. Unfortunate that I have to give them one star to be able to post this. They deserve 0.

I brought my pet here because she wasn't eating and the vet did x-rays and prescribed some medication and within days my girl had recovered fully. The wait to be seen wasn't that bad either. Very satisfied with my pets medical care here.

Great place. They always help us with our horse, cows, pigs, dogs, you name it. Very knowledgeable vets, excellent support staff.We recently had a vet check on a horse we were purchasing. Steve found the horse was lame and saved us a fortune. My daughter was going to spend her 4H money to buy this horse for barrel racing. I am so grateful for this team of professionals. I always know they have my back.

Last Saturday, I took my horse in at 5:00pm for colic symptoms. Dr. Holland was there and completed assessments to determine course of treatment. Unfortunately, my horse appeared to have stomach twist and was not going to survive. I was heart broken. She was kind and compassionate; ultimately she put him down in the back of the trailer for us to take home. I was so sad, mad, shocked, angry, confused, etc. I spoke to Dr. Loncosky the following Monday, still emotional and upset. He did a wonderful job explaining Dr. Holland's rationale for not engaging in more aggressive treatment. He gave me reassurance and education on colic and received my concerns with respect and integrity. I want to acknowledge how hard It must be on the vets and staff to watch owners grieve, to realize there Is nothing that can be done to save the animal, and in the end, having to euthanize. I appreciate Dr. Holland and Dr. Loncosky; I will defiantly bring my animals back here in the future.

The doctor that came out to examine our horse was very professional and thorough. She showed compassion for our older horse and had good bed side manner. The office followed up with me and helped answer all of the questions I had. Would recommend them.

Can not say enough good about our experience with Cottonwood Vet Clinic, Dr. Jahner, and Tyler. They came to our house to assist our dear dog Buddy to the next world. They were excellent! Very professional and yet very, very tender with us and with Buddy given how difficult it was for us. They truly connected with us and with Buddy to make it comfortable for all of us. We are so thankful and we so highly recommend them!

I cancelled my appointment due to high cost. There was a $395 travel charge, $280 float charge and they said $180 for sedation cost. I am sad about all the horse and lama parents who can't afford these costs to fix the pain of their animals teeth and of course more sad for animals who are suffering. I will try to find a vet that is willing to come to Lewiston semi annually to do a two for one clinic of charges of $100 per animal if maybe I can negotiate a free Airbnb stay with guaranteed customers. Kindly respond to me if you have any names of kind Vets who maybe willing to put on a clinic here.

We can't say enough good things about this vet clinic! We are from out of town and were visiting the area when our dachshund had a medical issue that required urgent care. Yes, it was a long wait to see a doctor as a walk-in but there isn't even anyone around that offers this service at a reasonable price. The staff was excellent, but the true stand-out were the doctors, Dr. Martin and Dr. Terra. They were so caring and spent a lot of time assessing our dog and answering our questions. We never felt rushed. We highly recommend this clinic!

I am new to goat motherhood. My 2 new boys needed seen, Dr Martin got them in and performed surgery on the SAME day. He made me feel completely at ease with what needed done. All the staff are super nice. Even my overly worried Mom phone call was handled quickly and with the utmost sincere care. Thank you for what you do and being so caring.

After regular vet service vacated the area finding a replacement to come to a very rural are was difficult. After much searching and contacting with other options found Cottonwood was willing to make the trek. By getting several others to seek service on same visit was able to make the farm call affordable. Was able to get service within about 10 days of original contact with office. The requirement of a deposit or credit card info prior to scheduling some other members of the area to get service on the same visit put off some other folks. Other vets used in past have the ability to charge credit card or accept cash at time of service. Giving the responding vet this ability would greatly enhance the professionalism of the practice.The responding persons were with in the appointment time, efficient, helpful in answering questions, being considerate and accommodating of the individual horses nature. They took the time necessary to accomplish the mission without attitude. This review covers the request put forth for the 4 animals attended to for this evaluation visit.

I definitely recommend Dr. Steve as an equine vet! He has helped me with a couple lameness issues, a couple ultrasounds/reproduction visits, & a pre-purchase exam....For the lameness issues...he saw the problem quickly, had a remedy, answered all my questions, & didn't charge an arm & leg! I really appreciated the last part!He is helpful and knowledgeable with reproduction/bleeding.I appreciate his sense of humor too!

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.....Got our horses in quickly for our benefit. As we needed the Cogins shot that is nessary for traveling out of state. We also desided to get our horses all caught up on their vaccinations. Really appreciated their helping us get this done in a very timely matter. 😁🤠🐴

We recently used the mobile vet service, and it was so nice. Our dogs didn't go into panic mode having to go to a strange place, the pig and goats were able to stay in the comfort of there pens. Dr. Terra was great with all the animals and it was so much faster than going to the office. We highly recommend Cottonwood small and large animal for all your veterinarian needs, especially the mobile vet care.

Today we had an equine emergency. After calling everywhere looking for a vet and being turned down at the the veterinarian's closer to our home in burney we ended up here and I'm so glad we did. They genuinely care about the animals and they were so kind and wonderful to us. I am so greatful for the help today and our horse is too!!

We are so happy with the excellent service we receive at Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic each time we come! We have a mini pig and several goats that have visited the clinic . We are greeted at the front desk with a smile by Kayla who is always so helpful on the phone and in person. Dr. Martin is working with us to figure out why our Nigerian Dwarf is coughing. He really takes the time to listen to us and answer all our questions, as he advises us on our options. We have many other clinic choices that are closer to our home, but we choose to drive to Cottonwood for the expert care that our animals receive there!

Woman behind counter was so loud I backed away and covered an ear. She said’ “we need your rabies docs to see vet”. I understand but this is a first thus I didn’t have docs on me. My pet received rabies vaccination on east coast; they were closed. Vet called me from out of state btw but it was too late, I had already been turned away. They wanted to charge $700 for the visit. I agreed to pay for rabies again despite current rabies vaccination expiring in 2024. Because I asked her to allow me to complete a sentence, she became more combative. She kept interrupting me, she said I was rude, and turned me away. In shock, I said, “omgoodness” and walked away. She was so mean and tried gaslighting me saying I was the problem :0( I said, “it’s not about you or me, it’s about my pet”. She didn’t like anyone “talking back” to her. She enjoyed folding up my application and turning away from me. I have no ego when it comes to my pet; he needed care and was denied because she was having a bad day and took it out on me. I didn’t raise my voice, didn’t use condescension, didn’t interrupt her, didn’t call her a snarky “sweetie”, or have a tone with her. She was awful but I will try not to let her impact the rest of my day. Thank God I didn’t leave her alone with my pet; someone who gets that irritated shouldn’t be handling anyone’s fur baby.

The best veterinary clinic I have ever worked with. As someone who has owned animals my whole life I never had many good experiences with vets. The vets at this clinic answer all your questions happily and talk you through things every step of the way. To put the icing on the cake they are affordable! Worth driving the extra 45 minutes to bring my animals here. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. You won't come across this many nice people working in the same place!

We were traveling in our motorhome and my Yorki began having breathing issues. My niece Susan McClenon lives near and recommend I take her there. They were awesome. Rushed her back and treated her immediately. She's fine and we continued our trip with no issues. Great place!
