Hay was super cheap. 10$ for both timmothy and orchard. Had lots of accessories as well and food for a variety of different farm animals. If you have a bunny I definitely recommend this place.

No one loves animals like they do. This place is like an oasis of high quality feed and animal care products right here in Costa Mesa. I came in not knowing so much on what kind of chicken feed to get, and I ended up getting much more that I expected: tips on how to better care for my chickens, what type of coops to build, the types of feed, etc. and as a person new at this, I couldn’t have come to a better place to get such positive experience. Shout out to Billie she’s so full of sparks, such a kind soul to put together a huge bag of Hay and Timothy grass and some quality chicken feed for me, helpful and positive Sarah, and Mike- he’s so smart, a total EXPERT on keeping thriving animals happy. Such an awesome caring staff, everything you need is here at great prices. Highly recommended!

Came by on a Monday when closed (we didn't know), they opened the gate right up so we could get a bag of dog food! Robbie and Mike super nice and helpful. Love the cats and chickens roaming around!

Today was the first time I came to Feed Barn in almost 10 years because Midway City Feed is no longer around. I live in Newport so I was not looking forward to driving to North OC for my needs. Under new ownership, this place has changed quite a bit since I last visited.It might take a bit of time to get what you need since they help each customer load their purchases when it's heavy to carry. It is a similar customer service vibe as Midway City Feed. The employees are helpful and kind.They still don't have prices on most items but they don't pre-bag the hay/grass. Timothy is 2 flakes for $10. They also have oat, orchard, alfalfa - all of which can be sold by the bale for around $30.00. They usually load your flakes into a random box laying around. I brought my own bags and the gentleman who helped me charged a good price for what I got. "Refill" instead of "Box" for hay was $4.00 cheaper on my receipt but the guy just winged the pricing for me. Price was comparable to Midway City Feed, which in my experience is cheaper than the big feed places north. The guy helping me was very diligent. Sorting the hay and letting me pick which cut to get.I'll probably come here again for my bunny. I'm glad I don't need to go to the bigger feed places further away for my needs.

Great feed store, has chicks. I think can get ducks, rabbits. Mike is a fairly new owner and super knowledgeable, little bit more progressive than previous owner. Full selection of pet foods.

Love the Feed Barn!! I get excellent recommendations for my dog food, Yes did you know they also have dog, cat, rabbit, you name it food and treats?? My bulldog had terrible skin issues and they said a lot of dogs are lately with chicken allergies for some reason, recommended Salmon Taste of the Wild and issue gone!! Also great price of filled bone dog chew that would be twice as much at PetSmart etc. Get in there and support local. Note, they are closed on Monday's!❤️

Needed help with information and vaccines for my pets and spoke to Nichole on the phone which went out of her way To find out what I needed I haven’t been there yet but I look forward to in the near future thank you for the great customer service and thank you for taking the time to call back.I only gave 4 stars not 5 due to the stock that they didn’t have in until Monday however I may change when I see the place ! Feel it’s fair to give everyone that makes the effort to have and do everything a good review.

They are so nice and helpful. Every time my dog needs medical care that I know how to treat, I can find what I need without going to the vet to get a costly exam and prescriptions. They have vaccinations that you give your pet at home for a fraction of the price. I have never been let down there.

Donita and Leonardo are the best in terms of customer service. The prices are very fair, and Donita really knows her stuff when it comes to animals. Support this local business! If you have small pets like rabbits or guinea pigs, you might not know about Feed Barn, but they sell varieties of hay in paper bags at a fraction of the price of the big-box pet stores. Super fresh quality too!

All the hay we have bought for our horse has always been Excellent even better than what his boarding stable is feeding sometimes :) Also, the staff is so sweet and friendly. So Glad they are close by too!

Nice local spot for pet supplies has pet supplies for dogs cats and livestock does not have horse trough or Pets Supplies 4 alternative breed. The management is friendly and helpful if you're looking for General pet supplies this is a good place with a variety of products.

Donita is Wonderful Hostess “The Queen.” She reallydoes care about Customers & their Pets.I don’t believe these Bad Reviews below.No way is she Rude to her Clients.If it was True Customers would have not return to “The Feed Barn” would be out of business by now!Donita assists Customers when asked for Advice/info about an issue they are having.Antonio the Assistant is Super on helping loading my car with wood pellets for my Cats litter.And yes it is dusty but isnt a barn always messy?
