Rite-aid deserves ZERO stars. my experience relates to the pharmacy and their nasty disposition. if you dont want to help people, dont work in a pharmacy. i needed sudafed which doesnt even require a prescription but is “behind the counter”. Me: excuse me, do you have sudafed”, RA: without looking up “we dont have any”. Me: really?. RA: (irritated sigh) looks to person stocking shelves… Sudafed? The young man says we don’t have any. She looks at me and says “ we don’t have any“… now that was all irritating, but you would think they would have some thing akin to Sudafed and if you are congested and need Sudafed you would think a pharmacist might recommend some thing else in the absence of Sudafed. But no such luck at Rite Aid. Maybe that’s why their stock went from $40 a share to two dollars a share because they should actually be out of business. File chapter 7 and do us all a favor! ironically a CVS recently opened up one block away where there used to be a grocery store. So I went there. Bright big store very clean all very courteous and helpful and they actually had Sudafed no problem. I will never ever go to Rite Aid again. I have definitely changed my allegiance to CVS.

I love Rite Aid on PCH, Corona Del Mar. It’s so convenient and fast to receive text message when medication is ready for pick up as well as be able to pre-pay for it to simply walk in and pick up. Additionally, their self-check out makes shopping so quick and convenient. If you need any help from pharmacists and clerks, they are veré helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this Rite Aid pharmacy and store!

I’ve been coming to this Rite Aid almost every weekend, I love this Rite Aid and the cashiers are the nicest people ever and I never had an issue shopping here until today. One of the employees was following my friends and I, all over the store, we didn’t think anything of it and even asked for his help looking for forks and he continued to follow us around the store 4 feet away from us the whole time and when we were purchasing our items the same employee stayed in the back of the store entrance waiting for us and asked if we had a receipt which we didn’t because we asked for no receipt and he followed us back to the register to confirm if we purchased the items. I’ve never experienced something like this before, even though it was a minor situation. I felt uncomfortable and not welcomed today. I want to shop without an employee following me around making me and my friends feel uncomfortable.

Our local pharmacy let me down today by not taking Covid seriously and answering their phone to bring rx outside to me with my stroller when my 2x babies are Covid positive and I needed to collect rx for them. The drive thru is conveniently broken. I called 3x in AM to make sure they were filled from doctor calling day before. I followed the pharmacy instructions and paid online to prevent from going inside. I called again to say I was 10 min away and gave date of birth etc. so would be a somewhat easy transaction. When I arrived outside the back entrance door by the pharmacy I called over 14x in the sun with my two kids in stroller with no answer - even through I said I’d be there within 10 min. When I tried to get their attention around the corner within earshot from the door - nothing. They continued to help other customers just walking in. I was appalled by insensitivity to my family’s Covid situation! I will be going to the new CVS up the street by Mother’s when it opens. As a mother I was completely let down by my local pharmacy today.

I am a cardiologist living a few minutes from this drugstore.My doctor is an oncologist in practice for > 30 years in Fountain Valley and in Corona.He sent a prescription for Xanax ( second RX to same pharmacy for me in 3 months. I occasionally take it to sleep.)The pharmacist did not fill it because “doctor not from this area. She doesn’t know where Corona is. I should find another doctor closer by” I showed her on line the 2 drs’ offices and even called the office for her but she didn’t bother talking to the office and insisted that a new RX be sent from the FV office , which was impossible since the dr was in Corona for the day.NEVER in 44 years of medical career I have seen more inappropriate behavior from a pharmacy towards a patient.

This Rite-Aid in CDM is so conveniently close to my neighborhood. The associates are always greeting with a smile and great customer service. My favorite stop for a scoop of Thrifty Ice Cream is my favorite fix!

The ice cream here is so good. Its always super empty and quiet whenever I go in, there's never any lines. The employees are also super nice and helpful. It does seem a lot smaller than other rite aid's tho, theres less of a selection for sure. The location is super convenient however, it's right off pch.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AT A DRUG STORE IN MY LIFE. THE EMPLOYEES LITERALLY TRY TO AVOID HELPING YOU...ESPECIALLY AT THE PHARMACY - YOU PRACTICALLY HAVE TO YELL TO GET SOMEONE TO CRAWL OUT FROM THE PHARMACY AND HELP...EVEN THOUGH I KNOW THEY SEE ME STANDING THERE WAITING, ITS AS IF THE THOUGHT OF HAVING TO SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER IS JUST AGONIZING TO THEM. ALSO, THEY OVER-CHARGED ME (TWICE FOR ONE ITEM ON MY RECEIPT) AND I HAD TO CATCH THEIR MISTAKE -- THEN IT WAS A HUGE DEBACLE TO RING UP THE WHOLE BASKET AGAIN, TOOK 15 MINUTES EXTRA, AND THEY JUST WENT AS SLOW AS TURTLE, NOT GIVING A SINGLE CARE FOR MY TIME OR THE LINE PILING UP BEHIND ME. OH AND ALSO, EVERY OTHER TIME I HAVE GONE IN THERE ALL I HEAR THE EMPLOYEES TALKING ABOUT IS WHEN THEIR NEXT BREAK IS OR WHO IS UP NEXT ON BREAK....THATS ALL THEY CARE ABOUT.
