This store is jammed with an incredible array of just about everything needed for a handyman. It can be a bit frustrating finding what your looking for as the isles are not marked well and the same general type of something your looking for may be located on two different places. We like going to this store to pick up general building items that we might not have when working on the repair or build of a BBQ ISLAND structure.We haven’t had much luck when in need of certain plumbing supplies for times when serving our Newport customers who are in need of fittings or other specialty plumbing / Gas Fittings and other BBQ REPAIR PARTS.

Even though ACE Hardware is a chain, the store in Corona Del Mar is definitely a hometown local store. The staff are wonderful to me and my puppy everytime we are there. Last night I had a pet emergency and they let me in well after store hours, reopened the checkout and helped me find what I needed.

Having worked retail at times, I appreciate what it's like to work with the public. The last few years, as customers, we really need to be appreciative and kind. 💗Service folks get the brunt of some people's dark sides and quite often, it's totally unjustified!The team at the CdM Ace Hardware are friendly and helpful but Tiffany is stellar!!

Nice store with good selection.We try to shop local to support community stores, so bought a grill from Ace and had it delivered curbside. The store and driver gave conflicting information about whether they would help move the grill into my yard (to get it out of the street, if nothing else). I offered to pay whatever fee they wanted, to no avail. The end result is I had to wrangle a grill by myself down a short flight of stairs just to keep the road clear and still have no clue whether there is a policy or the people I speak to just say whatever is convenient. The miscommunication and lack of service made one thing clear; next time I’ll just buy from Amazon and not have to deal with these issues.

Wonderful helpful staff that is knowledgeable from plumbing and other handyman projects. My go-to place to get all my small fix-it items to larger items like Webber BBQ (priced the same as Lowe’s & Home depot). So thankful to have an Ace Hardware in the heart of CDM Village😀

I have to give it 4 stars because they have a little bit of everything however only some of the things are offered in high quality versions.Here are the excellent 5 star departments:1. Paint, Wood Finishing, Spray Paint2. Dremel, Big Egg Smoker, Miele Vacuum Cleaners3. Overall this is a great local hardware store and I would be able to give it five stars if they had someone have a better selection overall. But as I listed above those are some things that you'll find to be quite useful in Crown Ace.

Fled the store, I asked for a drill, the hauntain men (with the mouth all full of food when speaking to the clients) told me is for wood or metal, as we are stupid peoples here. I'm sorry, dumb ass men but with a metal drill you can make a hole in metal AND in wood, stupid store.When you think as other stupides people,.... think at yourself in first, it should be good sometimes.
