I got a female GSD import from Traci two years back, and this pup has been the love of our lives. Our GSD is beautiful, smart, trainable, and incredibly well behaved, we've never had a single issue.Traci was kind, sharp, knowledgable and amazing at helping think through different options, litters, etc. We for sure got the pedigree including details on the sire and dame, and everything else checked out. Getting our pup from Traci was the best decision I made in 2022.(Images are puppy pictures and at 18 and 24 months).

My wife and I picked up Sonja (cuteness pictured below) from Nadelhaus back in April of this year when she was 2 months, and she has been an amazing dog. Extremely smart, very well behaved, has a huge please-drive, and is a bit goofy at times as well. The wait to get her seemed excessive, 6 months from the time we paid the deposit until we were notified she was available, but this probably had more to do with the high demand for pandemic pups. Tracy was upfront about picking a puppy for us that matched the lifestyle we described on our application, and to that end she did an amazing job! Tracy initially described her as a "sweet girl" when we picked her up, and almost 5 months later she is still a sweet girl. We spent about an hour with Tracy and the new pup, asking as many questions as we could (first GSD puppy ), and Tracy answered them, along with providing advice a month after we had taken Sonja home. I will not pretend to know that I have any idea about how well-bred she is, having no expertise in the matter, and since this is the internet you can take this with a pinch of salt, but I have to mention that at least once a week, bizarre as this sounds, some stranger will look at her, stop what they are doing(crossing the street in some cases), tell us how gorgeous she is, and after meeting her remark on her mild temperament, and funny personality.

Bought two dogs from her. She's definitely a salesman. Our dog had to be put down due to degenerative myopothy and she blamed us vs having accountability. My bf got another bc he wanted another Shepard and it didn't get along with our current dog she completely ghosted us when we made multiple attempts to work with her and find a better placement for the pup. I'm beyond appalled. Not only did I have to put my dog down than she prayed on my bfs loss to sell a new pup. The damage she did to our family is irreparable.

My husband and I have been going out the Nadelhaus kennels for over ten years. Traci is very knowledgeable and very kind. Before I met or knew Traci, my husband and I had gotten a German shepherd from down south. She was eight months old and when we got her home she was very skittish and had no confidence. Again and again we would work with her and take her to the dog park to get her socialized with no success. Then there was a day a man with a senior German shepherd approached us and told us about Nadelhaus German Shepherds. We started to see Traci for training and our shepherd could not be happier. She has gained all the confidence she needs and has been comfortable in her life ever since. We now own a Nadelhaus German Shepherd and he is a beautiful well tempered dog. We will always get our shepherds from Nadelhaus going forward as all come from great lineage. We board our dogs there which the kennels are always clean and well maintained. Nadelhaus takes a lot of pride in their kennel and dogs; Traci is very professional, honest and above all puts the dogs first. I would highly recommend her dogs to anyone, her kennels for boarding, her training program and even go out there to get your dog part of Fidoletes.

We got our GSD puppy (Dapper) from Tracy in 2020 Aug. To get the puppy faster (yeah, the waitlist is sooo long), we paid additional to get Dapper from Tracy’s partner in Euro. Despite the initial “puppy blue” we had in the first 6month (Tracy also gave us a lot support during that time!), we really love our puppy now! We live in South Bay Area and frankly every time (3-4 times in the past year) when I saw a classic, handsome “black and ten” GSD outside, they all come from this breeder 😄Tracy also mailed the pedigree of my dog after 6months to us. I sometimes still text her when I have any questions about my dog. She really knows GSD and way better than some vets I met.Honestly, the cost of a puppy is nothing compared to the overall cost you will pay later. So if you really have determined to get a GSD, I highly recommend here.

I've bought two German Shepherds from Nadelhaus. The owner, Traci Needles, has been doing this for a long time and this is a professional establishment, not some backyard breeder. Both my females have been wonderful dogs, healthy, and incredibly intelligent. Over the years I've been able to email or call Traci whenever I have a question about the dogs or want a second opinion against what a vet has told me. Traci is always quick to respond and you can tell she really cares about the health of all her dogs, even if it's been years since she sold the pup. I highly recommend Nadelhaus if you want a pure bred German Shepherd.

My husband and I brought home our sweet Stella Rosi in March 2019. We went to visit Nadelhaus with the intention of meeting with Traci and touring her facility. She and her son spent a lot of time introducing us to the puppies that were just brought in from Germany. She was patient and answered all of our questions. We are grateful for her wisdom and guidance on picking a puppy that would be a good fit for our family. We have had German Shepards in the past but none have compared to Stella. Her temperament, wit, and overall sassiness was exactly what our family wanted. We continue to train with her and she is an excellent companion hiking, dining out or on the days she gets to go to the office with my husband. We are looking forward to adding another Nadelhaus pup in the near future.

Well I bought my dog from Traci and Nicole and I called Traci 100 times, to send me videos of the dog I wanted, I’m sure she was sick off me :) she was very professional and she realized the dog I wanted was too much for me and said this one is not for you. I was heart broken, she then called me and said I have the perfect dog for you ! Grinch is literally my best friend and I don’t know what I would do without him thanks to these guys!! Picking a German shepherd, you have to trust the breeders in giving you the right dog, you can’t go in there and demand one . It’s important to trust them!!! These German shepherd are the best dogs you can get !!

We brought home a puppy just over a week ago and couldnt be more happy. The dog is well behaved with a calm temperament, and is adjusting to our family already. She's also a beautiful animal. Traci was professional every step of the way, and a good communicator to help set expectations. Her facility in NorCal was clean and well suited for the dogs and I appreciate how available Traci has been to help throughout the entire process.

We contacted Traci in April and at that point we were told to fill out an application in which we could pick from the females. We said we wanted a puppy from Charlie. In late April we were told that Charlie had two males and the plan was that one of them was ours. Thereafter, we heard nothing from Traci after repeatedly reaching out to her. Then after a phone call to her saying we wanted to make plans for when we could pick up the puppy she started trying to get us to take a puppy from another litter. This was the beginning of the Bait and Switch tactic that they pull at this place. After repeatedly trying to get us off of the puppy we’re were original told was ours, we just gave up and asked for our money back. The fact is Traci kept us hanging the entire time thinking we were going to get a puppy from Charlie, but she never intended to do so. There was a lot of disappointment in our family. We felt as though we were misled , lied to, and wasted a lot of time. Beware of this place. You may end up with the same bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have little kids with high hopes of getting what they were told.It’s clear from your response that you will not take responsibility. If anyone wishes to see the communications between Traci and my wife, you will see that she did a Bait and Switch right at the end. All of her communications were around Charlie from the beginning and then at the end she switched. Traci can make all the excuses she wants to but she did what she did. Really never intended to give us a puppy from the litter we had talk about from the beginning. Good luck Traci, for everyone else, beware she will tell you one thing and do another. PS you know nothing about my family to say something is out of our experience range. We’ve owned many GS in our lifetime. Insulting your customers in view of potential customers doesn’t look good. I wish you all the best with that attitude.

DOG: Rage at age 5 yrs. Almost killed owner who barely survived. Put down by vet for “RAGE” which is inherent in this line of shepherds from this kennel. Left face riex off & too graphic for posting. But I can if necessary (142 stitches to left face, ear, forehead, & shoulders. Skin grafted from neck area for rebuilding of left cheek.)

The person I contacted was not able to reveal parents of puppies that would be likely delivered in next few months making me wonder about the quality of pups I would get from this breeder. I already own a pure bred GSD and know what to look for in a dog. Maybe this breeder gets good rating from people who have no idea what to look for in a dog. These pups are not cheap either. The recent uptick in demand due to pandemic probably is reason for all this and breeders are getting greedier.

I have to say that the wait was unbearable. When the pup was brought out, I knew Traci had chosen the right little one for his human momma. He has a great temperament, is loving, looks forward to training and learning new things and looooves treats. The day we picked Koa up was magical...you have to experience it for yourself. We were told that we would be able to tour the facilities but after a 2 hour drive we were escorted to an office and told about the 5 available litters. When we said we would see like to pups, parents and facilities, Tracy became agitated but agreed to show us one pup which she brought to the office. Also, the one GS that we were able to greet in the office was under weight and looked unhealthy. We have bought well breed GS on three occasions and had full access to pups and parents. Our overall experience was sadness for the dogs and as another reviewer said so apply this felt like a pet store "puppy mill".

When I purchased a dog from Nadelhaus, the puppy had a very serious gastroenterology infection. The problem with Nadelhaus is that she is arrogant. i am a Physician Assistant, and my two daughters who cared for the puppy are RNs. Nadelhaus insisted our Vet was incompetent and misdiagnosed the puppy. I was considering suing her, but who needs the grief.

We have two Nadelhaus German Shepherds, the are the best family dogs. Our older female has been my girls guardian for the last 9 years, always watching over them. Our newest addition is the most loving gentle male. Traci has always been available for advice and training over the years.

We went to look at these puppies and were barely allowed to spend any time with them. We felt rushed and there were many dogs. We have paid up to 2,800 for our last german and was allowed to spend a lot of time with them before we decided to purchase. This is a big decision and big cash. You would think that someone would give you time with your future family member, but mostly the woman was just short and rude and rushed, plus all the other dogs made me feel like it was a puppy mill. Since this time we have heard a lot of not so good things about Nadelhaus, being from the Corning area she is well known by the community as a not so nice person. I hope she reads this because she really needs to take care of her pets and allow others to spend time with the puppies if she cares.

Purchased a GSD 6 years ago from Traci and I will never use another Breeder. Ares(my pup) is absolutely gorgeous and I will be a GSD owner for life. The experience with traci was great, I was able to spend a ton of time with the puppies before taking mine home. Thank you Traci!
