My pittie Charlie and I love Tailored Dog Training! My doggie Charlie has been coming since he was a puppy with puppy socialization and puppy training! I can’t recommend enough to have your puppy play around with professional dog trainers observing and making sure your puppy gets good habits! Charlie learned how to play with other puppies and understand when to play/when to back off. You can also sign up for an extra hour where they give personal attention to your puppy and help with basic commands. Charlie learned so much! The puppy training was fantastic as well!Now Charlie and I are in Tenacious Teenager training and have learned so much after one class! Training and working with your dog is a lifelong task! The prices here are so reasonable too! Definitely recommend!

Awesome experience here getting my mixed breed dog CGC certified just in time for our big move! Very helpful staff who make training very accessible and well paced. Recommend them to all my friends and family in the area. The pic in my review is of Sable before and after her CGC test, she was not as amused as we were lol.

I reached out with some questions and Willow was quick to reply with not only info on my puppies mix, but with the information regarding what they offer, and links to the info online. I loved the enthusiasm, and pleasant and quick service. As soon as our pup is old enough I'm definitely signing her up for her training here. I'll post another review once she starts attending!

Maj is an amazing trainer. She is very knowledgeable and informative. Both my son and I learned a lot from her and so far things have been going better than I anticipated. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs help with their 4 legged friends. We look forward to having a few more sessions with her soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was told by a friend of mine to check out this place because they have 1 hour puppy socials for $30 that help with active puppy socialization. When I called no one responded, their Google states the wrong hours and the address took me to the wrong location.The overall experience for my dog was positive and I’m glad he got to play, unfortunately it was about the same amount of socialization you’d get at a dog park with supervision. Felt more like an hour daycare than active puppy socialization which is typically a lot more interactive.The dog loved playing with the other dogs, but I felt the $30 price tag for one hour of dog park status socialization doesn’t meet the same value. I could do a puppy daycare for 6 hours at a cheaper price and get the same value. I’d suggest training the people there to actively socialize the dogs .That being said there was no real inclusion on if we should go into the place or not and we got shoo’d at the door for stepping inside. Overall not a super professional vibe and not worth the value. But that’s just my experience ^_^

Our experience with Tailored Dog Training has been fantastic. We needed help with separation anxiety, over excitement and wanting to play with every dog we encountered on walks, as well as reinforcing recall and focus when distracted. Our boy Tucker (an 82 pound and very strong, happy 2.5 year old Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog mix), fell in love with our trainer Nicole right away, and was always super happy to see her. We began with 3 private 1:1 sessions with Nicole, and were super impressed by her professionalism, knowledge, and total love for her job. We had one of our 1:1 sessions at our house where we learned and practiced recall with distractions. The second 1:1 session was outside the training center where where we learned and worked on de-sensitization to unfamiliar dogs and surroundings, as well as not pulling to go smell every bush and tree. The third 1:1 was at our local park where we further learned and worked on recall with distractions, more de-sensitization to other dogs and people, and walking nicely on leash without pulling. We received detailed notes after each training session that covered everything we learned and practiced. It’s great to have those notes to refer back to. If we emailed Nicole with a question about anything, she always responded in a timely way. We just completed our three 1:1 private sessions last week, and the results we have had with Nicole and Tailored Dog Training have been more than we could have hoped for. Tucker is learning to feel safe in his own “space” inside our house, and we have been able to leave him for short times. We are building up to longer stretches of time. Leaving him prior to training with Nicole was impossible. He is also becoming a champ at not overreacting to other dogs (or cats. . . ), and I no longer worry about dislocating my shoulder if Tucker decides to make a run for it. Tucker also understands what to do if he wants to stop and smell during a walk. We really benefitted from the 1:1 sessions, and are very excited to begin Level 2 Obedience group classes at Tailored Dog Training next week. We highly recommend Tailored Dog Training. If you, like us, previously took a training class at one of the large retail Pet-oriented chain stores, but found it to be inadequate, I would encourage you to consider Tailored Dog Training. The trainers are at TDT certified, not “in-store” trained, and the training center itself is an impressive facility. It’s been a game-changer for us!

Tailored Dog Training offers a variety of classes including puppy socials, basic obedience, Canine Good Citizen, and beginner agility, all taught using positive reinforcement based methods. They also offer private in-home training. Ally and her trainers always take the time to make sure each dog and owner team has the help they need to be successful. Classes are held at convenient times including weeknights and weekends.

Tailored Dog Training helped train our dog from the early age of puppy who "explore the world by biting everything" stage to being a calm relaxed dog who can walk around city streets.During the Covid Pandemic of 2020 they were not allowed to let people inside, so they would still accept dog dropoffs at the door and then would stream the puppy classes online so i could watch remotely.Ally and all of the trainers there excel. After multiple classes for months two things are clear. They love dogs, and they are knowlwegable about how puppies grow into dogs and what habits they form along the way.
