I was late for my appointment as I was lost and terrified we wouldn’t be taken but we were welcomed and they were so friendly. The groomer was gracious and took my dog in immediately. I asked for a bit of a different cut and he followed my instructions to the letter. My dog was done early and looks fantastic.

Petco grooming team is great, Kylie is the best. I only wish booking was easier and I could book online for nail buffing. I have to call or make appointment in person. It’s almost impossible to get through on the phone. I think because they are so great and always booked.

Service is fast and friendly as usual. By accident I had a great conversation with one of the managers about how reliable the concord store is. We drive from Oakland, 30 min drive, to come to this store. Love the grooming staff and the service in the store.

Very poor customer service at this location in the aquarium area. If you are waiting along other clients, they don’t “ask how is next?” They just helped the first person they encounter and they got disappointed when you tell them that you were the first one waiting for assistance. I wait there for a total of 12 minutes before get assistance.

Our Mom’s new rescue pup needed nails cut and we opted for an entire wash, teeth brush, etc. Upon arriving he began acting up - barking and growling at every dog/cat he saw. (He’s a rescue chihuahua). They still too him in and were able to accomplish all we asked! His nails were sooo long after being in the pound for goodness know how long. Great service and we totally appreciate their staff

Marc P was very nice guy. He was very polite, friendly, good with my dog and sweet. But he wasn't good at cutting the dogs hair which is why this is a 2 star review. He made my dogs hair choppy, there was a bald spot, and overall it was a really bad haircut.Customer service offered a touch up and a refund which was good.

Not at all happy with your new taxable materials charge. It took less than 5 minutes to clip my dog's nails. Other than clippers what expense was there? You also didn't notify of this increase before the service. What if I brought my own clippers for them to use? This is a service you're providing, not a product and no part of it should be taxable. When you charge $60 for a grooming the price of the product should be factored into that.Update, a month later and you raised your price again. You're going to lose customers.

This was my Pandemic puppy's (Angel) first grooming experience and he was very gentle and kind and treated him the same as he would had it been his own dog. He really loves animals and I could tell. My puppy was so stressed he had an accident on the floor but Kevin (I think that was his name, bad memory) was worth the fee I paid plus 20 more for his kindness towards my baby in his time of need.

My dog was very clean, but there was one small sticky spot left. And I don’t think her nails were trimmed at all. However I would still give a 9/10 with that being the case. How my dog was treated was really depressing. You guys keep cages in the back where the dogs are left alone as if they’re in a pound when they’re not being cared for and cleaned. I didn’t realize my dog would be left alone. I would have waited with her until it was her turn and then waited until she was done and I would’ve been right there, like a kid at a hair cut or doctor appointment. But they didn’t tell me anything and just said leave and come back in 2.5 hours ish. Completely not what I wanted but they were already dragging my dog away. When I walked into the place to pick her up, I could hear my dog howling because she is not used to being locked alone in a cage. For the rest of the day, she wasn’t her normal self, like how she was when I picked her up from a kennel one day. She was sad and seemingly distant and she acts this way when she goes through events like that. My dog has since recovered, but I think it’s a messed up system you have. It would’ve been much better if you gave the customers an option as to what they can do in the meantime, and you should say up front the whole process. I will not be going back again and I regret ever going.

Jaidyn is the best groomer EVER; it's always a 10/10. I won't go anywhere else to get my Aussies groomed. She goes above and beyond and always does an amazing job. I drive + 20-30 minutes to get to this Petco location for Jaidyn specifically. She's so worth it!!! I have 2 Australian shepherds: 7 year old male & 2 year old male. They both have extremely different personalities and Jaidyn knows how to work with both of them very well. One is a grump old man who doesn't do well with other dogs, but when he's in this Petco location, Jaidyn knows how to spin her magic and have him comfortable & NICE to other dogs (rare talent!!!). The other baby Aussie is extremely anxious all the time and she knows how to make him feel comfortable and calm, and happy during the appointment. Like I said earlier ... highly recommend Jaidyn & the Concord, CA location!! All the other staff members are nice too.

I brought three dogs in for a groom after not being able to ge t into my normal groomer. I met with the two groomers that we're going to groom he dogs and I thought they understood what was expected. The dog done by Kevin looked good I have no complaints at all. He listened and the dog got a good haircut. The other two look like their faces have been chewed with the clippers or cut with very full scissors. One had the eyebrow shaved off on one side but left on the other eye, that looked real good. I had asked her to groom them like shih tzus because they are both part shitzu. Both dogs are shaved to the snout! What hair is left is crooked and unfinished. This is not acceptable for a full price room. Dogs are acting extremely traumatized. I will not bring them back to have the cuts corrected because the dogs are all so upset about this experience. I actually don't believe the person that groomed my dogs is a real groomer. I've had my dog's groomed for years and I've never seen anything like this. It is terrible and I do not recommend Petco. I will not go back.
