They remodeled the store and that is better, the lines are long, they need more staff. The sweet bread is over browned, hard, with little flavor. The hot food is a calamity! bad taste, greasy, overheated, today I went and bought a dozen Tamales, expensive, very horrible! dry, the dough tastes terrible, no flavor and the tamales are hard! the Tamales reyenos look like food taken out of the garbage and with a lot of chili. they are a calamity! they need better bakers and better cooks! the quality of the food is not good at all. a lot of money spent to go to the trash!

TODAY SEPTEMBER 26 I WENT EARLY FOR GROCERIES ITS CRAZY THERE IS NO CASHIERS I HAD WAY OVER 15 items and the weighting where the food items go kept saying things werent in the bagging area the young lady helped me with attitude i had my two children with me and clearly needed to pay with a cashier first and last time this happens to me dont come here if you want to scan more that 20 items with your children crying and the ladies with mad attitude

Usually a good experience, today was different… Sandra is rude and lacked good judgement. I hope when management reads this post they let her know a review like this was added because of her lack of good treatment to the customer. Not everyone is a thief jackass… how the hell am I gonna run out with 30 items no cart no bags… the ignorance!

Clearly no one to handle and main order of all shopping carts. Contamination HIGH RISK. There is a Hand Sanitizer Pump inside, however no PAPER TOWELS to wipe yourself or wipes to clean shopping cart. Huge Disappointment.One huge credit to the bakery section. Each sweet bread (pan dulce) is individually wrapped 🙌 huge points here. As adults and kids touch everything. The attendant at their Take out stand was cleaning and wiping down the glass area. In all they are making improvements but it defeats efforts of shopping carts are not sanitized and wiped not provided.Huge improvement in customer service. Angela the cashier was friendly, she had this vibe of gratitude, she looks to enjoy her job. She was my highlight and she also packed my groceries. In the past they had just ugly souls working. N9 one seemed to like their job and plain rude. Today Angela and all others I interacted with extremely pleasant.

I use to really like shopping here at Cardenas Market. Don't get me wrong produce is always fresh, market always clean, good vibes with the music going. But when they really don't care about the customer is when there's an issue. PLEASE be careful with letting your children or even yourself when getting bolio bread from the racks. I burned myself last week and I reported and nothing was done!!! Instead the so called night manager laughed with a customer because he said I burned myself for being dumb but in Spanish as if I didn't understand!!! That was very unprofessional of the manager. They don't have signs warning people that it may be hot and I know they come out hot from the oven but their suppose to switch them around so things like this don't happen!!!

Decided to make an update on this place and they have added more grocery carts but the people in the bakery are a hit or miss sometimes they can be the kindest people but sometimes they can straight up be rude Like I could understand if they just said "hey sorry but we don't have it at the moment but we have this other option you can do" but instead they straight up say "no" which doesn't really help but the cashearas are great but the people who are at the automatic ones will sometimes be talking with each other but not really a big deal since you can just call them over, overall still a great place to go grocery shopping 😁

Today was my first visit to Cardenas. The store was well-stocked and clean. The staff was very friendly. I stopped for fresh fruit which was farm fresh and very tasty. The store caters to the Hispanic community and carries a variety of ethnic foods, and even has piñatas for sale. I couldn't find a few of the national brands I purchase at the larger chain grocery stores but other than that, I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of product.

Customer service is not one of their strengths at this location. I dislike that this store always has one cashier associate open, and 4 self service cashier going but the machines are so sensitive that it needs an associate to enter their badge, to get the next item scanned. Very upsetting when the associate gets carried away talking with their colleagues and gets frustrated to keep coming back.

Visited this place for some hot food, roasted chicken to be exact. The chicken was decent but the salsa included with the family pack was not good at all. However, my rating reflects more of the customer service than the food. When I got to the store there was no other customers in line but yet I couldn't get any of the employees to help me. One employee directed me to another and when I walked over, that employee said "no, she'll help you over there." Needless to say neither wanted to help me. It wasn't until a 3rd employee came out from the back and saw me standing there. I was asked if I'd been helped yet to which I replied no, she looked at both employees and was upset and confused with their behavior. That 3rd employee apologized and helped me immediately while the other 2 laughed and blamed each other. The 3rd employee kept apologizing and said that the newer employees don't seem to want to work. Not a good situation for this grocery store chain when a new competitor who offers hot food is literally 1/2 mile away.

This was a great experience in a Mexican market. I really did enjoy this market I'm from out of town visiting it was so refreshing to see a Latino market with latino products. The produce was very fresh and inexpensive I was able to find some extra large avocados 5 for $5. The meat department have some really extraordinary fresh meat. The customer service was extraordinarily friendly. The cashier was extremely nice.
