I visited this location over the weekend and I couldn't be happier with the work and customer service I was provided. Herb did an amazing job locating what repairs were needed during my routine oil change. He has officially become my mechanic for my Lexus! The desk staff are always friendly and I would highly recommend all to utilize this shop. I will be returning in a couple of weeks for tires as well and was given an exceptionally fair deal on pricing. A big thank you to all who work here!

Big Brand saved us! My band is on tour right now and our van broke down in a snowstorm last night. Big Brand in Colfax was able to diagnose the problem first thing in the morning and get us back on the road with a new alternator in only a couple hours. AMAZING! The service we received was top-notch, and we would definitely recommend Big Brand to anyone needing car repair or maintenance. Shoutout to Kory and Michael for their hustle to get us up and running again quickly, and Sean at the Penn Valley location for locating a mechanic for us asap! BIG BRAND ROCKS!

Extremely helpful and friendly! They’ve been able to squeeze me in every time I have called them asking for help. Had a flat the other week (BEYOND repair), got me a new tire and install, as well as an unplanned new battery by request done fast with a smile. Just had my other three replaced when I realized how bald the others have gotten. They ordered the same tire I got when I had my flat so they would match. I knew I needed an alignment, but forgot to mention anything since I’m very busy with work and was distracted; they called to let me know the rear needed adjustment during their check. So add honest to the list too! Friendly, punctual, helpful and honest.

Excellent, fast, friendly and affordable oil change, that comes with a tire rotation!As a single female I often find that shops try to over sell unnecessary and upsell repairs but Mark was honest enough to tell me that while he recommended fix a minor issue that it would be cheaper to buy the part myself and have a friend install it. As a first time client, that's the type of business practices that makes me feel confident to return to this shop, and recommend to a friend!! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Great local business. This was the easiest tire change I ever had. I would highly recommend this business for their customer service alone. I had no appointment and no clue on a Sunday. Haven’t been here since it was Plaza. But same amazing do whats gotta be done service. Sold the last tire in my size 5 minutes before I got there at 445 pm. Secured another tire from one of their regular roadside service customers. Went and picked it up. And stayed 45 minutes late to install it. Could have easily said we will have a tire for you in the AM. And I would have been ok with that. But thanks for the extra service.

We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon when our truck engine started to misfire. Matt, the service manager quickly took our truck in, gave our dog water, and worked with us to find a solution, while it meant we had to take our truck to the dealership service, he graciously didn’t charge us for his diagnosis time. Excellent customer service and I would highly recommend him and his team.

Great service! And decent prices!I got a flat on my boat trailer and the valve stem on the spare was broken. Took the spare to these guys and they fixed the valve for me right there. He didn't charge me for the time! I went back and replaced all four tires on the trailer the next day. Thanks you guys!

These guys are simply the best. I wouldn't trade my experience there for any other tire store and I have had some really bad experiences at les schwab and America's tire. The Colfax California location of Big Brand Tire has the best of the best staff and they do the job well and most importantly they do it right! This is the place to go. Keep it up guys, you ROCK!

My boyfriend went to Big Brands in Colfax Ca to have the spare tire on his truck mounted onto the regular rim due to having a nail in the tire. Not only did they not do what he asked, then they called him to tell him that the spare tire couldn't be mounted because it was a different size, which is fishy because the spare tire was the same size as the other tires when he had them mounted about a year an a half ago. When he got home from picking up the truck, the tech who was working on the truck failed to put the original rim back in the truck, causing a 3rd trip down to the shop. This is absolute bad business. Whoever Mike is at Big Brands Colfax was laughing about the situation and didn't seem to care that he had an upset customer.Ever since Big Brands took over Plaza tire, it is gone downhill. We will definitely not being taking our vehicles back there ever again for any services.

Great service. We called right before closing time with a brake problem, and Matthew & Michael took great care of us. They went down to Auburn to pick up a set of pads, and fixed us up so we could continue our drive home.

1st time visiting the shop to have my car diagnosed. Michael was attentive and listened to what I was describing as what was wrong with my car. The gentleman who test drove my car was friendly, took his time to explain what was going on with my car, and answered all my questions. They were not pushy and I felt they were genuine and price was fair. I will be using them for my car repairs. Great service and highly recommend them.

I sadly got a flat tire while coming home from Lake Tahoe. A two truck placed my spare tire on but this place was open on a holiday and able to repair my tire on the spot- free of charge! Highly recommend them.

Never wrote a review in my life..I've been a loyal customer of that shop for over 25 years.. started as Tom's sierra tire, Sierra tire and wheel, plaza tire.. I've probably spent 100g in there over the years.. So went in there today to pick up my capped tires for my log truck.. was told they don't have them and sent them all to the recycling.. I had given 4 michilin drives to get capped.. the casings were wroworth 150 a piece. Was told it wasn't their problem cause they don't do caps anymore and not their problem.. they never called to tell me to get them or offer to help in any way.. im out 600 now and they didn't have any interest in making situation right.. I will never reccomend them to anyone.. total lack of customer service and took zero responsibility for the situation
