Hello I'm Kenneth Pass. After unpacking from the move here from los Angeles i was really thirsty so drove into town and found the Walker General Store to have so many items other than the usual Pepsi and chips. You can get a seasonal fishing license ! Can't wait for the snow to melt. Most of all what i like about the Walker General Store is the family-like smiles and the feeling of being close to home which is one of the reasons i moved here . Thank you Walker General Store.

This Walker General store is such a Quaint Store, If ever a chance to visit , it's a combination of Lottery, scratch offs, fresh pastries,Friendly staff with "Welcome" while entering the Store.

The best general store anywhere in this area for groceries and personal items. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, with a family run vibe.Prices will be higher than you're used to, but remember where you are - it will cost you $20+ in gas to go elsewhere.I was amazed at how well stocked they keep this place for being a remote mountain town! I spent about a month camping in Toiyabe National forest, and this place had all the groceries I needed. They even have a (very limited) supply of meat and produce! They also fill propane, but only between noon and 4pm, if I remember correctly.Its not like you really have much choice of where to shop in this area, but even if you did, you should go here. One of my favorite small-town general stores, and I RV full time and have seen 45 states!Thanks for making a total stranger feel like family 😃

Great selection, worth a visit after Walker Burger stop. Eggs, tons of milk, fresh produce, great vibes. Good selection of Haagen Daz ice cream even. Propane also at reasonable prices. Wonderful asset for the area.

Stopped in a few weeks ago on my way through Walker. What a great little general store! Reminded me exactly of the country stores that I visited as a kid over 50 years ago. If you're needing something and you happen to be in Walker - stop here. They probably have it!

Our car broke down in there parking lot, we were stuck there for 6 hours. The workers there were so helpful, friendly and understanding! Would definitely stop again!

This store has everything! (Drove here from Bridgeport Market because the guy working was rude and disrespectful.) The "sisters" that worked here were so helpful and friendly. They had exactly what I needed. So impressed with this place. Big kudos to the staff.

Always friendly people. It's a small place with just about what you'd expect. I go down to play lottery. I appreciate that you don't have to use cash to play lottery. You can use your debit card. Many businesses don't allow that for some reason.

We,ve been here a few times as we camp near here. It's small but does carry a lot of things and is rather interesting to visit. The people who work here a fantastic, friendlty and very helpful. Prices are a litle high but you expect this considerng the location.

This store is like a mini grocery store that has a variety of items. They have lots of flavors of gateraid and soft drinks. They have a slushee machine that changes flavors both of them. They also sell scratchers and lottery tickets and you can exchange them there as well. I don't know that much about the owners or the people that work there. They are always very polite. Sometimes they have local news information on the counter or petition to sign. I have not heard of any big wins coming from the lottery tickets there but that doesn't mean it doens happen.

I liked this store for its cute history. Its quaint and inviting with a friendly staff.Please stop and check it out on your way down Hiway 395. They have excellent local knowledge.
