Our stay at COLEVILLE / WALKER KOA was wonderful. We have stayed at other KOA campgrounds throughout the country and this one exceeded our expectations on many levels. The entrance signs are very visible along with all the other signs for parking at check-in and throughout the park. Walking into the office I was greeted by a friendly smile and all the details for checking in to our RV site. They made it easy to navigate to our site and made sure we were good with setting up. Walking throughout the park we were thoroughly impressed with the level of detail taken from the superior clean conditions, plenty of signs, meticulously maintained gravel for your RV, level sites, just the right number of lights at night and the list goes on and on. We felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. The owners take pride of all aspects to ensuring the park is at peak performance. We stayed 6 nights and just in that short amount of time they made several improvements for the safety of the guests thus making an even more enjoyable stay. The K9 park is ideal for letting your pup run around and burn some energy off. The cliffs are beautifully lit up at night. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. There were ample communications prior to check in and during our stay. We are looking forward to staying here again!!

We stayed two nights in September without reservations. At check-in the staff was professional and friendly enough. We enjoyed the pool, the trails to the river and along the edge of the hills, and the views of Centennial Cliffs. Nice clean park with gravel driveways, clean bath/shower rooms, nice patio and BBQ grill which we used. There are quite a few motel rooms here and even some tent sites. Lawn area is well tended to with volleyball and tether ball. You can have campfires here except in tent sites due their proximity to the wild lands. Plenty of wild lands to walk your dogs in. We enjoyed meeting people here, at Mountain View BBQ and Walker Coffee house. We explored the Sonora Pass area during our stay and would stay here again. Good times at Walker KOA.

This was a beautiful KOA. It’s 50 miles south of Reno. It’s in a very small town with 2 open restaurants at the time.My husband and I enjoyed the pool and met some nice fellow tourists there at the pool. They have clean coin laundry facilities. And really good internet. And fishing close by. Also they had a dog run.We toured the ghost town Bodie from this location and enjoyed a wonderful BBQ meal close by. My review of the restaurant is on TripAdvisor. The grounds were kept up really nice and the rock formation behind the campground had a beauty of its own. We will stay here again.Playground: Yes a small playground is on the grounds.Dog-friendliness: Yes. There are trails to take your dog on as well as a dog run area.

An awesome place to stay! Everyone's friendly and helpful. The mountain view is pretty epic. Feels close to the highway, but we didn't hear any traffic at all. Highly recommended.

We travel with our dogs, so we reserved a Paw Pen site. The site was a wide, gravel site with the Paw Pen at the rear of the site. There is also a good sized dog park on the premises along with a dog washing station.Online reservations were easy along with an online check-in that streamlined the process. Water, electric, and cable with 24 channels was provided and worked well during our stay. We had 1-2 bars of AT&T cell service, but WiFi is also available.A recommended stop if you're traveling along the 395!Dog-friendliness: Paw Pens, dog park, and dog washing station

Beautiful campground! The staff is very friendly and they go above and beyond to make your stay the best way possible. They even opened the pool up for our daughter's! Sites are plenty big for our 40ft 5th wheel. Campground is orderly and kept clean. The views are amazing and at night it gets very quiet to the point you can hear the cows from the distance. It's right off the highway but the road noise is to a minimum. They even have trails to explore and the pet area is nicely maintained. The nearest WalMart is 27mins away and Ace Hardware etc. Carsen city is 40mins away if your looking for more options like Home Depot, In and Out. burger, Target etc.

Beautiful KOA Campground. Friendly staff and clean laundry facilities. We had a back in site in our 34 foot Class A with no problem leveling or hooking up. Only used the laundry facility. Downside was the dog park...yes it is large and well lighted at night but it is all gravel. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this KOA motel on our way back east from California. Ive stayed at many KOA’s before but this is the cleanest and nicest one I’ve ever been to. It’s very well kept and the lots all look pretty level too. The laundry and bathroom facilities are SUPER clean and nice. The owners and camp hosts are great people!! I’d stay here again for sure !

Great campground. Clean and well maintained with level gravel sites. Loved staying in the patio rv site and the view was incredible. The adjacent restaurant has awesome food which was an added bonus. Ownership and staff are friendly and go out of their way to assist you, from helping to guide you into your site to providing wood for the fireplaces. Will definitely be back!

Stayed here 9 days, attended Eastern Sierra ATV/UTV Jamboree. This our third visit to KOA Coleville,Walker RV Park. Most likely the cleanest, organized and friendliest staff we’ve encountered. Beautiful pool, spotless rest room and laundry room. Pull thru more than adequate for our triple pull, easy in and out. There is also a excellent cafe in front of park, which serves delicious late breakfasts, lunches and wonderful dinners. We will be returning here in several weeks on return from Utah trail rides.

Super nice KOA! Epic backdrop. Trailer sites are wide, level, and smooth. Common areas are clean and well lighted. Wi-Fi worked very good. Restaurant next to the KOA is good. Town of Walker to south has Mountain View BBQ, Walker Burger and Walker Coffee. To the north in Coleville is a small Commissary and Marine Corps Exchange if your a Vet or Active Duty. Highly recommend Coleville/Walker KOA!

We were coming from a few days of boondocking above Lone Pine, and The Coleville/Walker KOA was the perfect stop on the way back to the Bay Area. We were delighted by the beauty, elegance, and cleanliness of the place. Our pull-through site was perfectly level, so we just put the stabilizers down on the Airstream, filled our water tank, and plugged in the electricity. Highly recommended!

This is a nice place to stop over when visiting the sierra Nevada mtn range. The town of Walker has cheap gas and a great old school burger stand. The KOA is clean and staff is friendly. They are very dog friendly which is very important to us.

This campground is among the best we have stayed at. The owners are conscientious about the place and it seems constantly around making sure everything was taken care of and we are happy. :). When we were checking in several days ago we discovered the vehicle we tow behind our Class A had a dead battery! There was instant help from the staff to get it up and running and to let us know the best places to get a replacement battery. There are lots of amenities here and it’s quiet. The only negative (and it isn’t a negative for many people) is there isn’t much to do in the immediate area (maybe 30 miles). This rv park is one you just hang out and relax.
