They stocked it well, I seen a truck leaving so it seems like they get deliveries often, Nicely organized a good go to get your necessities store. The staff was friendly also even if my toddler kept wanting to run into the store and name food items. Thank You

Who doesn't love this store. I go out of my way to go there because it's an easy in and out and I only buy my meat here because it's fresh and the quality is excellent. The produce is beautiful. The wine and beer selection is great and there is liquor as well. They have a nice rounded selection of products so that there is something for everyone. They have organic and regular items. Everyone that works there is awesome, friendly, helpful, service with a smile. It's important to keep supporting our local family store since our Cobb community got burned there has been less business.

Best produce in Lake County, well stocked, never crowded and constant disinfecting being conducted all day throughout the store. I actually feel safe shopping there all the time. Well worth the slightly higher prices you may have to sometimes pay for some items.

Great small chain grocery store! Always have the best staff who are willing to go out of their way to help you find what you need. Management must be amazing, because the floor staff sure are. If I look even a little confused, someone will ask if I need assistance. I always feel welcome in their stores.And they take all the precautions to prevent spreading Covid-19! Plenty of sanitizing between customers at check-out, sanitized handles of baskets and carts, customers wearing masks! The Ace Hardware attached to the Middletown location means I’ll rarely, if ever, need to go to Clearlake (where people are less vigilant) for supplies. Love!

Definitely the worst of the three stores which is to be expected since it’s in the smallest and most remote town. Staff is always friendly and it really has the small town market feel to it. Wish they had a larger selection but I understand why they don’t. Biggest complaint is the front door as it doesn’t always sense you there and you have to step back and walk into again for it to recognize you.

It's a small grocery store in a rural area. They keep a fresh inventory of produce and meat. Prices a tiny bit high, but not having to drive further away for the basics is worth it at times. They have a few hardware store type items, fire wood, and cigarettes if you ask. A few organic things here and there. Staff is friendly, and they've been on top of sanitizing in between customers, etc to combat COVID-19.

This is a awesome little market. They have a great produce selection which was surprising at first because some small moutain stores don't , a lot of times their produce seems better then what the safeway in Lakeport has to offer. Their pre packaged selection is good and they might not always have the exact brand I'm looking for but they alway have something that works. Price point is good and although I'm sure you can find something cheaper at Walmart or safeway although the prices are definitely competitive. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. At the end of day I much rather come here and spend a few extra bucks , get better food and a friendlier staff

This is a great smaller grocery store. Very organized and they have a wide variety of items. Produce is fresh. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A bit more expensive than average but that's to be expected when you're way off the beaten path.

Regular neighborhood corner store. Overly priced. They require you make a purchase to use their ATM!!!! How rudeIs that even legal? Employees aren't very enjoyable. Whole place is kind of just mediocre. It's close for ppl in the area I guess but I'm glad they aren't all I have to choose from

Great friendly market!! Get everything you need here for your mountain stay. Little more spendy than going down the mountain for cheaper bulk items, but food is fresh and right there if you need it. Parking lot usually has just enough space. Always has a community feel to it thanks to a couple happenin local shops like a coffee shop located right door, as well as a bar, and a tasty pizzeria.

A few years ago, I was visiting family in the area and wanted to purchase alcohol but when I presented my drivers license the lady denied it because it was 'out of state.' I am well over age to purchase alcohol mind you. It was absolutely ridiculous and it really shocked me because I have never had that happen in my entire life. I am only giving them two stars because the area is nice, and the selection is decent.

Really nice produce and above average deli section for a store of this size and location. Found everything I needed, even a nice goat cheese. Smart selection of the basics too. Friendly staff.

Family friendly and community helper. Lake County has been hit by about 8 fires in recent years and Hardester's has gone above and beyond to help the community. Recently their own store in Middletown burned down and they are not giving up...they like the community around them are rolling up their sleeves and building again...

Nice little grocery shop if you need to buy a last minute item. We rented a cabin in this town, and needed some produce that we forgot to bring. This place was our life saver.

I love hardesters stores cannot wait until the Middletown store gets rebuilt I feel bad for that community the hardest your family is great people and I look forward to doing business with them when they rebuild but don't forget there is a Cobb store and a Hidden Valley Lake store

Visiting from out of state. This store always had what we were shopping for. Breakfast sandwich/wraps, groceries, beverages and sundries. A one-step shopping experience.
