The office staff is very friendly and professional, the pool is gorgeous and clean. The grounds maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. Nice large dog park, however the grass is knee high. The grass was tall everywhere and park has an unmanicured appearance. We were there for three days and the garbage cans were emptied once. Three of the five dryers are out of service and the garbage in the laundry room was full and never emptied the whole time. There are a lot of full time residents and some of those sites look messy and trashed, one had a car jacked up with a tire off the whole time we were there. Not what you expect to see when booking to stay at an RV Resort. Sites are also very close together and can feel claustrophobic.

My family stayed here for the entire month of September. We loved it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The pool is very clean, my kids used it almost daily. The park area is also great. The restrooms, showers, and laundromat are all clean and well taken care of. The RV sites are easy to back into and we had plenty of space. It was mostly quiet, labor day weekend did get loud but it was all in good fun.The park is in a good location, not far from Yosemite. We'd stay there again!

About an hour drive from Yosemite. Grounds need to be worked on. Bathrooms okay, not super clean. Laundry room needs improvement. Overall, an okay place to stay.

We stayed at this campground so that we could visit Yosemite National Park. It's important to know the drive is 40 minutes to the park from the campground. However based on how Yosemite is set up to get to the major areas is closer to a 1.5 hour drive.Overall we were happy with our stay. We were in one of the pull through deluxe sites and did not feel squished in like other campgrounds. The pool was one of the best we have been to in a campground. Our fire ring was missing, but there was a fire ban anyway so we couldn't use it. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because there were about 5 piles of dog waste by our site and it was never cleaned up by the pet owner or the campground. Definitely not something we wanted to see constantly. I assume this is not a constant issue there. We would recommend the campground.

Very misleading location details and naming convention AND worse was the cleanliness of the bathrooms and trash area. The location was over 1 1/2 hours to the falls off Yosemite... This is not very near Yosemite as the name implies.I called ahead to verify high speed Internet as was advertised on their site. I was assured that it would support video calls and it was barely enough to check the weather. Fortunately, I had a T-mobile hotspot to almost get me through my appointments. And, lastly the worst were the bathrooms and adjacent trash area. The trash was overflowing and the area was disgusting... Not cleaned in weeks/months. Trash was emptied later in the week.Bathrooms were dirty the night we arrived but not horrific. We assumed it was just the end of the day; however, the remained uncleaned for the next 5 days with toilets overflowing, same trash on the floor, mud and no soap left in dispenser. Clearly management was not verifying cleaning at any point and the staff didn't like cleaning bathrooms. We also paid over $100 per night to boot. We won't be back and encourage you to find another location where basic cleanliness is remotely important.Noteworthy details: Dirty and poorly maintained.

The site was nice and level for our trailer. Good water pressure, wifi, and cell service. Front office staff was friendly. The amenities were quite lacking during our stay which wasn’t indicated anywhere on the website. No indication that the pool was out of service. The game room had a coin operated pool table and foosball table. The grounds seemed a little unkempt. Would probably look elsewhere unless some of the amenities issues were corrected. A bit disappointing compared to what we saw on the website.

Wonderful people, great park.We stayed about a week to visit the NP through the south entrance while the north side was shut down.Beautiful dive into Yosemite proper, and great towns on the way to get your shopping and touristy desires fulfilled.Folks at the campground were so kind, delivered firewood and fire-starters right to our spot.Huge dog park and multiple bathroom buildings in walking distance. Wonderful trees and cool lighting highlighting some.

We stayed here a few years ago and loved it. Unfortunately it has gone downhill. People come here and crank their radios and let their children run around unattended. They need to have strict rules and enforce them like good campsites do. For over $100 per day for camping there needs to be some changes. We won’t be back again…

I'm always puzzled why they call it an RV resort, because the photographs on the web page do NOT even closely reflect what this place is. All the grass is dead and dry so therefore the place is very dusty. We couldn't even take our dog there to the dog park because it was pure dirt. It's very important to note that the South entrance to Yosemite National Park is 20+ mi from this RV resort. However, you still have to drive another 30+ miles more on very narrow mountainous winding roads to Yosemite Valley. So do not get misled thinking you are very close to Yosemite. Make sure you bring the Dramamine if you have issues with car sickness. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the staff on the phone was extremely helpful. It's regrettable that this place is so worn down because with a little bit of tender loving care it could be a really beautiful spot.Noteworthy details: There is a tribal casino and resort 5 miles away. It has easy access for long RVs to fill up with gas and reattach their towed vehicles if need be.

Pull through parking was nice. First thing anyone should know who is thinking about booking this campground is that it is not in Yosemite. This is in Coarsegold, which is about an hour and a half to the "destination Yosemite Places" I just think that is important because of the name of the resort. We personally knew that going in, but everything was booked in Yosemite. That being said the restrooms were nice and clean, which is always a plus. We were able to maneuver our 24-foot RV without a problem. We used this as a halfway point from Mammoth to Big Sur, and it served its purpose. Full hook ups work great, as well as the Wi-Fi. The pool was clean, and the night stars were the best view.

Overall, we had a good stay from the second week of May until June 17th in our fifth wheel. When we arrived, the check-in process was easy but we wish someone would have shown us our spot. It was very hard to get into the spot and if we hadn’t had help from long-term residents, we would have messed something up with our trailer as the ground is very unlevel. It was also a struggle to get out of the place when we left (fifth wheel is 41ft). The dog park when we arrived was not taken care of, overgrown grass and weeds; but after a couple days, it was finally mowed, then hadn’t been mowed again. The laundry was hit or miss on what washers/dryers were working at the time. Residents/staff were friendly. If you needed to get into the clubhouse after hours, it was available by a door code which was helpful for packages. They allow overnight guests as long as they follow the rules of the park, which was nice too. Unfortunately, I did not spend anytime at the pool but I heard great things. The wifi could be spotty but with a big resort that’s a given, it was great for a remote worker. Now this is the main issue, especially for residents that are currently working on the road. My husband and I paid monthly, and we were told to let the park know when we would be leaving and if it was mid-month that would be great. On June 17, my husbands job changed and we would need to move that day. I had gone up to the front and spoke to the very kind front desk girls, to let them know that we would be leaving that day due to work and if we could get our 13 days in rent back for the rest of the month since we wouldn’t be there. They stated they didn’t see an issue with that, they understand, it’s been done before, and would discuss with their manager. Perfect. We moved out. And would have probably stayed the rest of the month had we not been assured that we would get our $ back. A few days had gone by, so I called on June 12 asking if there was any word on getting our money back, was transferred to the manager in which she explained that “it’s in our contract that was given to you before you moved in”(upon looking, never got a contract, just the monthly rent application) that they don’t do that, and she apologized that the front desk girls are new and didn’t know what they were talking about. I asked for a credit in case we would be back due to work, and she again stated that was in our contract and not do-able. I asked if the rent could go to a long-term resident for next month, she stated they still couldn’t do that. How unfortunate if we end up back in the area for work, as this will definitely change our minds staying. At the end of the phone call, the manager stated that if we do end up coming back, she would take the taxes off the bill. Okay.I’m for certain they filled the spot up within the 13 days and are now receiving double payments for that spot, which they could have at least given the rest of the month free since they have already been paid for it. This is just a “be aware”.Other than that, the park was nice for our 5-week stay.

The campsite was beautiful and clean! The staff was super friendly! We got a little lost, and they found us, and brought us to the correct location, off duty!! The pool looked nice, and the playground was pretty too. It has some beautiful views and the bathroom was the cleanest, nicest bathroom I ever saw! We stayed in an upper back in, it was a little tight, but it was okay. I highly suggest the pull through deluxe sites, as they seemed to be more family friendly with a little more space. This place is our new go to, if the river isn't running. Plus, Yosemite is a 30 minutes drive away!! We had a beautiful time!!

The worst customer service ever! I booked the wrong dates and instead of being professional and letting me change them literally with in an hour of booking which was over a week out they told me there is a no cancellation policy which I didn’t want to cancel just move my dates forward two days they made me book the right dates and pay for the wrong dates!!! So I payed for 8 days stayed 2!! Very unprofessional I came all the way from Florida my wife is an influencer so I will be sure to put the word out stay away from this place much better and nicer establishments near by.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and had slide issues. The park worked with us until we could get a repair. The bathrooms were clean and close to the sites. Location is great for big rigs if you are planning on going into Yosemite. Like others have mentioned, the sites were not very level and not well groomed. Also, sure numbering was confusing for most of our neighbors when arriving. No host to help people find their site. It is very “rustic” compared to many parks.

I can’t believe no one mentioned the price of an RV site in their reviews because it is outrageously high. I realize it is all about location to a national park but for what you get beyond that, any price over $60 is too much. It cost twice that amount BTW. We reserved a deluxe pullthrough. All sites are relatively small & narrow, dirt and uneven. As someone mentioned, the lay out is confusing and we must have had the same site as the other reviewer because we too watched many rigs trying to find a site or trying to get out! It is an old park, with lots of old rigs and permanent/seasonal set ups. Loud music from one of the fulltimers but stopped by 9 pm. Wifi was adequate which is a bonus for most old parks like this. Relatively clean, although debris leftover from previous camper was there to greet us. If it were not overpriced I would give it 4 stars because overall, it was pleasant and maintained well for the most part.

Pro’s/Con’s1) 5 Minutes Chukchansi Casino & an hour to the entrance of Yosemite 90 minutes to Yosemite Valley.2) Large grassy dog park (although trash was never emptied and grass was never mowed in the 4 nights we were there.3) Laundry room was sufficient, had a nice table for folding clothes. Several machines were out of order.4) Lot’s of trees and hilly park.5) Sandy soil that would be a nightmare when it rains. Site was not graveled.6) The sites are confusing. They really should have an escort to your site. We were on an end site w/ views of every one coming in and would laugh because everyone drove around confused trying to find their site (including us!)7) Several full time RV’s that have junk in their site. Never a good look.Would stay again.

I truly believe your happiness/satisfaction with this “resort” is directly related to your site. Some sites have quite a bit of room, while others, like mine, barely fit your rv. Some sites have a table and fire pit (when there is not a fire ban), mine did not have room for these.1. The park either needs better signage or someone leading people to their sites. I saw so many guests driving in circles looking for their site.2. The reservation people need to be cognizant of if the rvs they are putting in the spot can actually leave from the site. More than one site, while intended as a pull through, you can only back out of if you have a larger rv.3. While called Yosemite RV Resort, guests should be aware that it’s almost 2hrs to the main attractions of Yosemite NP.4. While technically big rig friendly, it’s an old park and as such is very tight around trees and other rvs. Something to be aware of with a larger rv.The water pressure, pool, and dog park were nice though.

The camp site here was fantastic. We used the tent site, the shade was really good and there were no mosquitoes, so we could enjoy a comfortable rest. Especially, the staff members were so kind. We scheduled for staying here two days but we extended one more day because we liked it so much. The bathhouse was spotless. I fully recommend this place if you are planning to go to the Yosemite National Park.

Large campground. Lots of spots. We have a 32 tt and our spot was plenty big. Your neighbors are kinda close but not to bad. Lots of trees. There are cabins, yurts, and tent sites

We stayed 3 nights at a supposed pull through, (spot 92).Only about 30 min from the Yosemite south entrance, (except the Yosemite gate entrance line took over 1 hour). Its dusty and hot here in July. Low water pressure. Good 50amp service.Nice little picnic table and chairs. When we left we could not make the sharp left turn. Had to stop and 3 point turn twice.Nice pool and showers.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a night on our road trip down California, I booked the reservation last minute online after reading great reviews. It was so nice to have clean bathrooms and a comfortable place to shower outside of our RV. We used the bark park multiple times for our dogs. Having full hook ups after camping with no hook ups was a delight. We were really happy with the place and would highly recommend!

The pros. The yurt we rented was great! Clean, solid and well decorated. New bunk beds, clean sheets, nice cubes to store your things, a heater and air conditioning unit, a plastic skydome to see the stars at night. it was very nice.It has a very nice pool very clean with a great View for the kids playing. Very nice front desk personnel. The cons. The bathrooms and showers are combined into one cramped room. It was a very unseemly experience to smell other people going to the bathroom while taking a shower. It would be a much better experience if the bathrooms were in a separate room, or better, building from the showers.

We spent three peaceful nights. The bungalow is clean and it has a really good kitchen utensils. The entire camp was clean and well maintained. Just be aware that some bungalows have a patio and others not. Unfortunately, they put me in one that has no patio when I was sure by the pictures that it has. They charge a reasonable pet fee and the resort has a big dog park.I will definitely be here again and recommend to all my friends.Tips: Make sure to choose the bungalow/Cabin with patio (if you really want it).Units close to the reception can be noisy because the resort is on the highway and the sound of the cars is clear.

Amazing reception. Great swimming pool and relaxation area. The facilities are spotless and very clean. We camped far away from the reception area near the portable bathrooms and they were very clean and serviced regularly. No grass camping, but it wasn't an issue. The shop has basic necessities. About 1h45min away From Yosemite Valley/Village, but the drive is beautiful. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 months while visiting Yosemite. I loved the staff, the campground, and ambience of this resort. The sunsets are beautiful, and the park is located near Yosemite west entrance or the Mariposa Grove, side. Laundry facilities were great and the park was very clean.

The site were in is listed as "Deluxe pull through-full hook up". The site was very unlevel, to the point where we had to use blocks under our wheels and still had to manually level the rig. Our neighbor had the same problem. The hook ups were at the very rear of the site so bring extra hose and cord. The narrow sites, and most of the roads are dirt with some gravel which make for a nice dust storm when someone drives by or you get a gust of wind.
