This could be a great store, but there is never enough staff. Shelves are bare products still on dollies in every isle making it very difficult to get around and there is only one cashier at all times so you stand in line forever!

Never has milk. Always sold out. Pointless. These guys have the worst supply chain issues. Two or three times a week they will have completely sold out of common products. The next day you can't walk around the store because they have all of the products still sitting on the carts to restock. This place is grossly understaffed and the employees are always very touchy because they are put in positions where they can't help the customer. Is a very mismanaged operation. That is very unfortunate because in this community we don't have a lot of options. It's sad to see something run so poorly that could benefit the community so much. Just go to Oakhurst or Coarsegold, it not worth the guessing game if they have the basics.

They need to clean up ther isles. Public unable to get thru. Big mess ALWAYS. And check out is slow slow slow!! Not checkers fault. 2 other employees present yet not helping anyone. Checker came bk earlier from lunch so he cud help us out. Other 2 employees had zero intentions on helping out. Big long line

Beginning to appreciate all that this small store has to offer. The simple things were used to be able to buy locally st Gottchalks, though can find most here. Vast selection of undergarments for men, boys, women and girls. Bathroom and kitchen accessories. Cleaning supplies. And the list goes on and on. Worth a visit, just to check out what is available. Pleasantly surprised.

I live in Coarsegold… we are so blessed to have a local Dollar General…. But…. The store is a constant mess. You can’t shop the isles are full… products are all over the floor and there are not enough employees to fix the mess…..if you can’t keep the store stocked you should address this problem…. It has continued since opening

The service is always so slow. But I am really happy they are open. They often have 4 people stocking shelves and 1 checker. They don't seem in a rush ever to get the line cleared. But they are nice and have lots of variety and decent prices. Overall a win.

This store is always a pleasure. They recently remodeled, very nice , alot of coolers now. They did a great job! The employees are all so nice and helpful.

The employees were great and friendly. No negatives for them. The only negative is some of the customers do not wear a mask. The store has a sign right in for customers to read and see, but you get those few that are selfish and only think of themselves. Other than that, the employees are great and constantly working and taking care of their customers.

To be honest, they need to hire more people to work there, and preferably one's that are competent enough to do the job of cashiering correctly. They only have two cash registers in the store, and they take their time ringing items up and having personal conversations with customers, while the line gets longer and longer, or they never come up to the front to help out with the line.

Very convenient! We don't have a lot to choose from up here and especially at a decent price. Very friendly. Always nice to have if you need something without have to go all the way to town. They could add a cashier or two when it gets busy. Which seems to happen quite a bit and there is only one cashier. Otherwise great!

I would have given four stars but I saw a incident that was both shocking and just plain wrong. The cashier yelled at some guy to keep his hands out of his pockets. Seems to me that if they are so concerned about shop lifting they should employ a security guard to help out rather than publicly embarrass anyone. I have shopped there many times and now I don't think I will. Perhaps they should rethink their security measures...#disappointed

Well here is an update I have changed my rating to 2 stars. Because lately Everytime I go they are out of what I went after, if it's on Sale, they are out of it. You'd think they would have ample stock if it's on Sale. They usually have one Cashier working and line to check out is always long. They were doing a good job at first but now, I just get frustrated and walk out.

Very nice and helpful employees. Can't say for sure what's in there because there's new things with each delivery. It's like a treasure hunt. If you can't find something there that you didn't know you needed, then you're not looking hard enough!

Very clean and convienent as well as a friendly staff. They have a lot more items than expected ranging from regular groceries, to small electronics and cables.This is not a dollar store but most items on average will be less than your typical convenience store.

Very clean store. Items are easy to locate, and store employees are friendly and helpful. The store is pretty well stocked, but some prices were difficult to find or missing. After several trips to buy stuff there, we found only one item that was mispriced. We brought it to our cashier's attention, and she handled it right away. There's a big box store a few miles up the road, but we always come to Dollar General first to buy the items on our shopping list. There is a DG ap that we use, which offers digital in-store coupons that can be redeemed at the register. This feature has saved us $3 to $10 per trip. Prices are still reasonable without the AP, but who wouldn't want to save money?

Great selection for a small town! Keeps me from having to run all the way to Oakhurst or Fresno for fairly priced grocery or general items. Would have given the 5th star if they had soy milk, but they only carry the almond milk. Also, I liked when they had books in stock, but it doesn't seem to be a regular thing.

They have almost everything you need. Customer service is friendly and always willing to help with a smile! The only thing that this store could work on is the long wait time when checking out. It happens occasionally but not all of the time.

Always feel welcome by the very friendly cashiers, the store is always clean and looks to be well stocked and organized. The company should invest in giving them a 3rd register though. I’ll continue to keep coming back 👍🏻

I don't know what I'm doing when I grocery shop and found myself with $40 leftover after payday for grub. Went into this Dollar General and grabbed a basket thinking I'd have to rush and make it to the grocery store afterwards, breaking a few traffic laws since it was almost closing time at the other corner market. 20 minutes later, I find myself going outside to grab a cart instead of the little basket I snagged (the store was packed with inventory!) I wheeled back in with the same uncomfortable uneasiness that follows a now poor, divorced guy everywhere he goes and transferred my overfilled hand-basket into my cart... off I go! I found a big jug of laundry detergent for one BUCK (gotta figure out how to use that still), my kitties favorite treats for ultra CHEAP, more than half a grocery cart full of side dishes to go with my Top Ramen lunch noodles, for next to nothing, Chicken Soup, Pizza Rolls, chocolate, salsa, kitty litter (whew!), bologna, peanut butter, bread, and a bunch more for almost exactly the money I came in with! I even got pepperoni, almonds, Fiddle Faddle, and 10 other snacks I felt like I didn't deserve with only $40!!! I couldn't be more pleased to be able to feed my furry friends and have some dinner myself with many things I normally could not have gotten at the corner store and still count on making it until next payday with grub. Say what you want about big business, this time... they helped ME. Thank you Dollar General. Oh, the store was a bit messy but even when the workers were on break, they were still cleaning things up as some big Valentines day sale happened that day. They looked like they'd been through a storm but still had a helpful hand to my endless barrage of questions about "does 2 for 1 mean I need somebody with me?" and a smile to boot. My kind of place; they deserve a raise. I'll be back, no kidding. And I won't have to ask so many questions next time.

The staff is either too immature or straight up rude. I've had many issues with the staff there which GOOD LUCK COMPLAINING TO A MANAGER. Last time I was there, while waiting for the customer to do an exchange.. this young manager was sitting there rolling her eyes with arms crossed like she was so annoyed to do her job... I avoid this place now

So happy this place is finally open!!!! Great prices! Very cheap. This is NOT a dollar store but again, amazing prices! Very friendly staff! They’re we’re very helpful and informative! Very clean and well stocked!

They hardly have anything for a dollar and the prices are always wrong. It has one price on the shelf but rings up more at the register. The employees are very rude except for Cody, he's always nice and helpful.

Older woman at check out counter just matter of fact, not friendly... store with general items, clean... SORRY TO SEE they've applied for liquor license!! We've had more than enough tragedies from drunks coming out of casino just down the road from this store in Coarsegold... SAD...

Great service and fully stocked shelves....altho they might wanna decide to stock there store durning early morning or late evening....it is a pain to go shopping with a store full of people and ur isles full of product in boxes waiting to be unpacked.
