Very expensive but handy because there's only one grocery store in the small town of Coarsegold. I think most locals who can, probably get majority of supplies at Dollar Gen up the road, Madera or Oakhurst and prob use this market for incidentals they forgot or small items like I do.

We ordered through Door Dash, a 12 PC chicken which came with 9 pieces. We called the market and they "assured us" that they put in 12 pieces and that maybe the Door Dash people ate the chicken. We had to call our Dasher who of course denied it. We did note that the chicken was tied tightly when we got it and the very flippant manager of the market said " so they couldn't have untied it?"The chicken was good but don't get it delivered cos they will rip you off! Sad that they could do so much more business by being honest!

My elderly family member received the most demeaning cashier service here today, on a fixed income and uses EBT...she whom is over 70yrs old was called "you people", when she presented the EBT card to pay, apparently you have to let the cashier know you are using this mode of payment before its rung up. When she presented the card to pay, the cashier said "you people are supposed to tell me when your going to use your food stamps". Terrible to say the least.

Local, clean, well stocked, friendly. Had exactly what I needed today, so I didn't have to go all the way to oakhurst. Who would have guessed they had a 10 ft heavy duty extension cord, I'm glad I checked on a whim.

The homemade cake, and pastries are fantastic. With a variety of home cooked ready made meals, its got everything one would need. With a feel of a hometown market, very clean and staff is friendly.Oh and try the Asain noodles, their real good.

I give 4 stars because their prices are much higher than a big grocery store in town. There are sometimes things on sale or marked down that can be a good value, however. The best thing about this store is the location. It is right in the hub of downtown Coarsegold. It is pretty good for last minute purchases in a pinch when you don't wanna drive far. The employees are friendly at least in my experience. I have shopped here about a dozen times over the past couple years.

Prices are way, way, way, (did I mention WAY?) HIGH. Even heard another customer say they'd shop there daily, if the prices weren't so high. They just wanted a couple of canned goods, and they wouldn't spend the $12, they just turned around and went to the Dollar Store a a few miles south on 41.

Very expensive. The store smells weird all the time and has bad vibes. The owner harassed my mother following her around and telling her she stole something and needed to check her purse when she never did anything. Never shopping here again, save yourself and go to the new Dollar General down the road.

The fried chicken breast was very good.If you are drinving to the Yosemite Valley don't lose your opportunity to stop at this place to get a piece chicken fried.
