This is such an incredible place a true modern blast from the past. The history of the village is really neat and it's a treasure of all Coarsegold. Great food at the wild Fig and candy and treats at Mimaw's. The little shops around the village are all cute fun and unique. The hand made candles and Goat milk Soap at Modee's Leather and Lace are absolutely incredible. Modee also has doggy gifts and treats for sale. I prefer soy milk candles over other types of candles and that is what Modee specializes in. The goat milk Soap from Mountain Oak Premium Soap at Modee's is delightful as well the smells are wonderful.Come on down and see the rich western history of the Coarsegold village. Oh yeah the coffee shop is so good as well. The antique store is fun as well as the Poppy shop and Mended Fences, and you can even get Magna Wave Treatment at Three Cross healing at the village as well.I would venture to say that no trip to Yosemite would be considered complete without stopping at the historic Coarsegold Village.

It has the potential to be pretty neat but we went in the off season and most everything was closed. The antique store was cool. It had a great variety of items. Lots of really good deals on leather coats and they seemed willing to negotiate a bit on prices. I'd absolutely go back to see new inventory.

I've lived locally for a few years now, but only recently started visiting Coarsegold Village. First off, this place is adorable! There are a couple vendors set up in the parking lot every weekend, and so far my family has found some cool items at those pop-ups. The few antique shops I walked through have been really interesting, and the shop owners were nice. There's so much there I want to check out! I also really want to go to the Tarantula Festival there next October!🕷

I loved it. It is just starting up so ther wer not as many food ventures as I wud have hoped. We wer later & ther was only Hot Dogs. The other ventures had wonderful home made items!! I Loved it!! They had a few different booths set up w quite a few Darling crafts, knick-knacks, home made decore, blankets, wood workings. Very creative and very nice work for cheap. AND THEY HAD A BAND!!

A sprenkle of this N that is a true gem for the area. Everytime I come this way we pick up new lotions soaps and candles. I'm a mans man and her Nag champa lotion is the best. I get so many compliments. I love all her products. Especially the scented bath salts. Thank you for being an alternative to big box stores . And carrying rare and hard to find scents

This place is awesome with a lot of cool shops. My only problem is that most of them aren't wheelchair accessible. 😔

Quaint little outdoor mall with specialty shops, restaurants and coffee shop. It's a cool little place if you just want something laid back. More of a "on your way somewhere else" stop I would think.Vendors are really nice and helpful in the overall vibe of the place is typical of rural mountain community.

I'm a little biased as I used to called Coarsegold home many years ago💙 However, there is a cute antique shop we like to visit in the Village. There are several other permanent shops selling candles and other unique items. There are sometimes pop-up vendors selling new and used items that is always worth a look. For those coffee lovers....don't miss Zanders. Good coffee, and they usually have a fare amount of pastries to go with your coffee. There are restrooms available at the Village. Also a restaurant that we have yet to try. Photo op at the teepee is always fun! I belive there is still RV parking behind the stores, but if a large peddlers fair is happening it's a little tricky getting in. There is "some" space along the highway at the Village that an RV would fit.

It's a cute place with a variety of things you won't find anywhere else. They have a lot of antiques and specialty shops. There is a small fee for parking but it's a nice place to stop if you have some time to spare. Stopped with a friend and she found earrings made from bullets, they were really cute.

Came to an Indian Powwow held in Coarsegold. Had been here prior. The village has a few shops with unique items. If ever out for a Sunday drive, nice ride to get there and then just stop and browse through their shops. Also good place to stop to go to restrooms. If hungry, also places to eat. We haven't tried the restaurants.
