I would give six stars if I could. The wonderful staff has been a literal life saver after my car broke down on the 5. Their pet-friendly policy is amazing, they provided a beautiful room for my family including my two dogs, and the staff went way above and beyond to help me deal with an extremely challenging situation. Above that, the accommodations, pool, and food options were amazing, the grounds are super dog friendly with lawns and pet waste stations, and the night in the room was perfect - quiet, dark, and peaceful for a great night’s sleep. Room amenities were great too, good AC, comfy beds, nice bathroom, mini fridge, and TV, and homelike furnishings like a table with chairs and a comfy lounge chair. Cool lobby with cattle-themed decor and good complimentary morning coffee. Having driven past this place dozens of times, I was beyond pleasantly surprised, and so grateful for the excellent service, and I would definitely stay again, hopefully in less dire circumstances!!

My husband and I have been staying here for years. It’s a nice quick getaway. The Olympic sized pool is so much bigger in person than in the pictures. It’s very impressive. Beautiful at night. The courtyard is gorgeous, very large and open. The staff is always very kind across the board - from the front desk, to the shops, to the restaurants. I’ve never had a bad stay or a bad meal…. nor a bad drink! My mojito was EXCELLENT.

A classic for the I-5 drive.Had the corned beef hash with poached eggs. It was awesome. So was mom’s brioche French toast. The coffee is great. The biscuits were only so-so.

We often stop for a meal in the Horseshoe lounge, this is our first time in the hotel and won't be our last by far. Our basic room is quite large as well as clean and quiet. As expected our steak dinners are cooked perfectly to medium rare. Save room for dessert, it was hard to decide but went with the creme brulee and berries... delicious.

What a wonderful stay. We had a wedding in the area(Yes). We had an amazing dinner. Try the baseball cut! But alas we needed the room for a little extra time and the Manager came out in a boot from surgery. And made it happen. Staff was super helpful and everything was very clean. Thank you Victor. He has been here for over 30 years.Rooms: Rustic decor and super clean

I recently visited Harris Ranch for breakfast, expecting a delightful meal given the reputation and the prices. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the high costs, the food quality was extremely disappointing. The dishes we ordered were not only overpriced but also underwhelming in flavor. It's frustrating when an establishment known for quality fails. I hope they address these issues to match the expectations set by their pricing. Until then, I recommend looking elsewhere for a more enjoyable and value-for-money dining experience.

On Tuesday my daughter and I stopped here for lunch as we always do on our way up the 5. This was the worst food and service we have ever had. We both ordered the steak salad which took 45 minutes to get. The steak was old and very dry. Our server took our order and we never saw her again until I flagged her down for the check. Another server was walking by and refilled our drinks. Due to this experience I don't feel we will be stopping here anytime soon and we travel this way often.

We have stopped here to take a stretch break ten or more times per year for the past 25+ years. We enjoy their mercantile store, appreciate the bathrooms in the main building, and on occasion, we order their bbq from their to go area next to their gas station. If you’re lucky, in the main mercantile store, they will have corn beef hash on ice to take to go and to cook at home. It sells out quickly ;)

This year was my very first time going to Harris Ranch and if I'm being honest, I loved this place. I came here to celebrate me, my wife and my mother in laws birthday all at once and we stayed for a weekend and it was so relaxing. The area feels extremely safe as well. The Steakhouse was the highlight of the stay. The food was so good easily the best steak I've ever had (that's probably not saying much but to me I was impressed!) Sides were on point, service was excellent, and the drinks were delicious. The pool was pretty busy but I didn't mind. At night the pool dies down a little and that's when I got in. I loved the country feel to the resort, and I loved the amenities. Rooms were nice and cozy however they did feel slightly dated. Maybe they need a minor remodel? I don't know but it doesn't take away that this is easily one of my favorite resorts in all of California, I urge everyone to stop by even if it's for the express BBQ cause God damn even their gas station food is excellent. Will definitely make it a priority to come back frequently.Rooms: Rooms felt nice and cozy, very clean and the beds were comfy. They feel slightly dated but overall still a great experience it doesn't take away from how great this place is.Noteworthy details: Some noteworthy details I'll say about Harris Ranch is that everyone working there were so friendly and helpful. I also loved how everything was well situated from the rooms to the hotel layout, to the proximity from the I-5 and Hanford/Lemoore.

Wonderful team working there!!! Food was delicious and everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.I only took a star away from "Rooms" because they're a little dated. Even though, they had everything we needed and the patio seating was a very nice addition.

Went to Harris for lunch driving on 5 on Valentine’s Day. Steak was cooked perfectly and the garlic mashed potatoes were really good! Great place to stop to eat while traveling. Would like to stay the night sometime in the future!Highly recommend.Food & drinks: Very good food.

My sister and I were driving from her home In Anaheim up to my son’s in SF. We have been stopping at Harris Ranch with our family since we were young. We are now 80 & 85 years old! Yes, it’s been that long, we always stop to have a meal at Harris Ranch Restaurants. The food has always been consistently excellent. The gift shop is packed with delightful, quality gift and food items. 40 yrs ago I had a neighbor who flew regularly up to Harris Ranch, landed on the airfield and walked into their restaurant for dinner! I was lucky to be invited a few times, an experience I’ll never forget. I highly recommend taking your family for a beautiful drive out in the open countryside and treat them to a wonderful afternoon at Harris Ranch Resort. My only complaint is that we have never stayed at the hotel because we were always just passing through. Upon entering the gift shop and restaurants, the architecture and cleanliness of the building is so beautiful so I know the rooms must be breathtaking.

Went to the restaurant yesterday and ordered the Rueben sandwich. The bread was slightly blackened. The meat looks like it was cut from a store brisket. The sauerkraut was only on one half of the sandwich. Basically, I could have made the same sandwich at home. A far cry from a few years ago when I ordered the same sandwich. It was the best I had ever eaten. I was really looking forward to the same quality. It was a bust. Our server, Moraine, was excellent. We could have complained, but we were hungry and had to get moving. It wasn't inedible; just not the quality we expected for the price.I travel back and forth on Interstate 5 at least twice a month. Harris has clean restrooms and a great little store. I will continue to stop there and tell my friends to do the same. But I think I will stay away from the restaurant.

Great place to stop and charge the car. Their restaurant is just ok. For a place that really advertises their steaks they are actually not that great. I had a ribeye there once. For what you get it was overpriced. The steak was a thin cut, overcooked, and lacking any flavor. The sides were prepared like they were an afterthought with no regard for quality.

We stopped here for lunch. Pretty generic overall, but probably the best place to stop along I-5. It was nice that it wasn't McDonald's, in-n-out, or Taco Bell. Had a beautiful rose garden as well.

Harris Ranch is located in a great position in California. The resort from what I’ve heard is great. Being an owner operator of a small trucking company in California. I’m very dissatisfied that they chose to eliminate truck parking in order to make way for Tesla chargers, basically telling all the owner operators and company drivers that used to make them one of their regular stops to rest and eat to go away in order to cater to electric cars. Truckers are the backbone of Harris Ranch. That’s how they move their cattle. That’s how they move their meat. That’s how they get their food for their cattle but this is another instance of company completely disregarding the value of truck drivers. hopefully in the future when trucks become electric, they will choose to allow us to enjoy their great food again if the trucks haven’t become completely autonomous. Thanks for the great times and food and rest but I was able to get there while I was parked you will forever be missed Harris Ranch.✌🏽✌🏼✌🏿❤️🇺🇸

(food only)Surprisingly good take out. My kids had beef and mashed potatoes, and a cauliflower pizza. I tried the pizza which was quite good, and everyone who tried the beef loved it.

We just ate at the express area next to the Tesla chargers. Food was excellent. We split a tri-tip sandwich and ate outside. Highly recommend.

When you pull up, it's a beautiful setting and resort....BUT it's like lipstick on a pig. I have never slept on such a horrible mattress, i was awake all night, and the walls are so thin I could hear someone snoring in the room next to me. For an "Executive Suite", there wasn't anything executive or suite about this. This was about as far away from a good experience as you can get, and they should be ashamed of themselves for the condition of their bedding. When I spoke to the agent at check out, she really didn't seem to give a darn. I guess if you only want one-time customers, you can get away with this, but I'll never be back to the hotel.

Went here to wast time on a work trip. Visited the bar and gas station.Bar had a very friendly staff and offered a full menu. Foods good but your paying for the uniqueness of the place. Nothing out their so this is it.Gas station offers food, but your going to pay.

We ate there twice. Dinner was prime Rib which was good! Lots of food 😋 Service was great. Lunch our service seemed distracted while food was good. My Reuben sandwich was fantastic, my husband's Chicken Fried steak was bland and disappointing for 38$Prices are extremely high!

Only purpose of my visit was to buy a Baseball Steak to grill at home. I appreciate the convenience of the stand alone store associated with the fueling station. The steak weighed in around 8oz. They asked if I was travelling and provided an ice pack to keep it cool for the journey home.I grilled it the following day and was delighted with the outcome...very tender and flavorful.

Once upon a time I raved on and on to friends, family, and fellow travelers about stopping, staying and dining at Harris Ranch. We'd drive the 3 hours to have a wonderful steak dinner and truly enjoyed it.Sadly my last two visits have been very much the opposite. The menu changed. It's now very limited, with a few steak selections. Awkward for a steak house. The sides left us wanting. You were formerly able to dine in any of the restaurants and have the ability to choose from each menu. If you had children, the family restaurant would host you. Fine dining, opt for the steakhouse. No kids, relaxed enjoy the bar. However the food was amazing in each.Now. Not so much. We were seated at a table with a drink that had obviously spilled below. I was handed napkins... So I could clean it myself. The food choices limited. No we could not order a basic cup of soup offered in the other restaurant, even though it was produced in the same kitchen. Don't forget to flag down the server if you want to order, or you can just there a while. The point is, they used to be a great stop. Now, just like most other establishments, they could care less about your patronage. So you choose, Taco Bell or Harris Ranch, same service.

I've learned the secret! When the hostess seats you, explain you need to urgently get back on the road! My waiter moved heaven and earth to prioritize my needs. We were back on the road in 40 minutes!!Otherwise, the meal will be leisurely.Remember VALLEY FEAVER is pervasive here in the valley. Set your car's air intake to recycling. Hold your breath or wear a mask when running to your car!Look up Valley fever!!
