Idk why but i loved the .99! So sad to see it go now but its demise began years ago with prices exceeding 5 or 10.00 for trinkets. Theres no way they could sustain the business even with increasing the prices. Not in this current corrupted economy, not even in these days of such uncertainty. Its tough for businesses to thrive let alone survive these times. So we bid farewell to another familiar face just like America appears to be dying before my eyes. So sad to witness all of this. I hope we make it out alive. But then again nobody will. No matter how much money you try to save. Its futile. May God and the Universe bless you All!

Just about any gadget needed. You will find at this store.Food products arts & crafts...school & office ..supplies...snacks.I could go on and on. Variety store. Very clean and friendly staff.I love this store .

I like this particular store in Coachella because of the large variety of items. It's a busy store so it's always busy with traffic as well.

The 99 cent store offers many great bargains at a dollar and also items that are priced a bit higher, and that makes the selection much more attractive. From vegetables and frozen foods to just about everything you can imagine at a decent price Service is great and and I'm glad these stores are here and in these tough economic times stores like this make all the difference for your budget!

It's a.99¢ store and there are a lot of items at .99¢ and more. The fruit and vegetables they carry are reasonably priced. I would recommend the stores for fruit and vegetables that will be used within a few days.

The store is clean and well stocked. I really like the fact that they have fresh produce. Although some of their pricing is equal to Walmart there are enough items at a cheaper price to make up the difference. I really like that they have quite a few vegan items. Good for you. Just because some want to eat clean doesn't mean we want to spend more for it!!!

Wish I wasn't needing to be somewhere soon or else I would have spent more time (& $) here. Great selection of ALL KINDS of useful and nefarious sundries. Ok prices on basics, good prices on hard to find brick-a -brack and random new hey-cool-whats-that. Check it out if u dare!!! Lolz

Prices might of gone up but quality also went up. You might find great deals here. AC works, had restroom, shopping carts can only be kept inside the store, you pay for bags and it seems like they fixed the smell that would be near the restroom area. Tbh I would love to work here

It doesn't feel busy until you go to checkout. I realize at this price point labor costs are of high importance, but what about customer satisfaction??? It's sad because most are very clean and friendly but we leave frustrated or even angry due to slow checkout and that's the lasting imoression. Who is going to develop an app that can be used to check out???? I will pay for that app! 😆

Nice people, but it's on the dirty side. Never use the bathroom it's GROSS! I love the fact I can get a gallon of milk there. All prices are not a dollar and I'm fine with that. You can and I have gotten some really great stuff there. And during the holiday season they stay open later to accommodate there customers.

Love this store! I do a lot of shopping here weekly. I'm a college student so the wide variety of things offered at the 99 is amazing. You can get a variety of fruits and vegetables as well as frozen food, home essentials, personal care, snack food, and a lot more. I always recommend the 99 cent store to everyone I meet since 90% of everything is a dollar. Some items do cost more but they are usually clearly marked with their price. Seasonal items frequently go on sale, such as Halloween decorations after Halloween, and you can stock up for next year.

This place is a tricky place. I love that I can get certain things at that price that I can't get any where else. But I also walk out with so much more than I wanted or really needed it... Lol, but you can find just about anything/everything you want/need or ever desired!!!

My mom gets all her necessities from here because she make A LOT of gelatins for people and they taste delicious plus it a great place to find makeup/craft supplies/gardening tools/school supplies/party supplies etc.

This .99 cent store in coachella is by far the cleanest well sanitized store I've had the pleasure of shopping at. Employees are friendly.. well groomed.. Every single visit I've observed store aisles well kept. Merchandise nice and neat on shelves .Floors are shiny clean. Several times I've observed cashiers sanitize conveyor belts. This is an exceptional xtra.

I JUST got home from shopping here and I bought an iPhone glass screen protector, hoping it wasn't already broken but when I opened the package, it was shattered on top and completely unusable. Unfortunately my husband had thrown the recipes away as it was handed to him so I tried calling them to try and fix it and they took forever to answer and when they finally did, it was silent.I normally love this store and shop here quite often so this is really annoying.

Good prices, you just gotta watch the specials of other stores as they might have better deals. For example I don't buy chorizo here because at food for less I usally get it for .50-1.00 cheaper. But over all you will mostly find many bargains.

Was looking to buy some things for my phone . There were several boxes opened so i made sure the box i was getting had everything in it . Then a lady skinny lady who wears glasses announces over the speaker all security scan isle 7 which was the isle i was on . I turned to walk away to pay and she yells from across the store in front of customers we don’t open merchandise if you’re or buying it . I said i am buying it and I’m checking to make sure everything is in there because there are so many boxes worth missing pieces and so i politely tell her why i was checking it and i said never mind i just won’t buy it if I’m being treated this way. She said then don’t and have a good day swishing her hands for me to leave the store . I will he making a call to cooperate about her discrimination and the way she talks to customers

It's ok if your in a hurry, but as for it being less expensive. They sell things that are expired. They also sell stuff that is priced for less, but if you look at content of your purchase. It will not be the same weight or amount you normally get at Wal-Mart's or any other descent store.

Getting expensive. There secret shoppers are o virus. There was a old man looking at the makeup and trying to text on his phone at the same time , obviously trying to look at me. I guess I was spending too much time in the beauty isle. Plus another man was picking up hair dye, reading the box and on his phone texting. He was bald.
