pretty poor customer service, paid for a dog training class 2 months in advance, then they wanted to reschedule on 1 day notice. Then I got the run around trying to get a refund. Nobody has the ability to get anything done, or knows how to do it. RESPONSE TO OWNER: still getting runaround. Customer service is not authorized to help, refund has to be approved by another department. Wont deal with Petco again, even though their store is walking distance from my home.

Wait, times for help with fish can be extreme. The store wasn't even busy, and I asked for help it still took 15 minutes for someone to get to me.That being said, the girl who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable about the fish.

My dog ​​had an appointment and they didn't want to accept him because his vaccines are from another country but he has everything complete. but in none of the requirements does it say that it necessarily has to be from the US when they are exactly the same vaccines😏

They always have the cutest clothes for my dog. Plus, the toy I bought her is made from recycled bottles. One of the shirts I bought her (the blue shirt) is also made from recycled plastic. I love that. They sell the frozen raw food that my dog loves.

Great place to get your dogs groomed and have their nails trimmed. The staff are very helpful and friendly and provide great service. My dogs were clean and happy after their grooming.

We enjoyed over the the years with our dogs who have since “crossed the rainbow bridge” So when we adopted another pup after a couple of years, it’s been fun to return and get products for him. While the faces have changed, the staff are great to work with and talk to !!

This place had very poor customer service skills when it comes to their employees. The only reason I am giving this a 2 star and not a 1 is because Larry was very professional about the situation. We went to purchase an item that didn't have a tag and was mislabeled. They didn't want to honor the price and the cashier Zach was extremely rude and unprofessional. He claimed that we had a bad attitude when explaining that the item was marked a different price. He proceeded to smack his lips and roll his eyes at us as we were leaving and gave a stance when asking for his name with attitude. This made me ask for the manager because I am not going to tolerate someone that acts like that with their job. I work in retail and this is never how you treat your customers!! When the manager came, instead of helping the two customers that were in line, Zach sat there and was looking and listening to my conversation with the manager from a distance. If there is one rule with retail it's THE CUSTOMER COMES FIRST!! ZACH should not have been listening to the conversation I was having with the manager on the side. Instead zach should have been helping the other two customers waiting in line. We will never come to this location nor will we go to any Petco with this type of service. Thank you Larry for your professionalism but Zach you really need to work on your customer service skills because you won't get very far without them.

Harrison did an absolutely AMAZING job with my dog. He has always been terrified of water so grooming and washing is a struggle, even after 7 years. Harrison was able to get everything done I asked despite his anxiety level. We will definitely be back!

PETCO Clovis takes such great care of my dogs Zelda & Fancy. Jean, Stevie, Harrison and the rest of their groomers are awesome! They treat me and my dogs like we’re their best customers. I know that they are caring and gentle with my girls. I pick them up smelling like roses everytime! Thank you so much for all you do!!!

This is for the grooming staff working 04/08/2023 @9:30AM:It was my puppy's first time at the groomers, I had scheduled a bath and cut. The front desk lady had no patience for us what's so ever, I had concerns and questions as I have never owned a dog before. Her facial expressions spoke for her and made me feel like I was bothering her and I should just be on my way out then wasting her precious time. I got as far as asking one question. Answer which I understood and agreed to. Informed them he is a very hyper and excited puppy. Felt uncomfortable to ask anything else as I was just getting stared at as if I was crazy or an alien. I was very hesitant on leaving my puppy with them but I did as I trusted that they could be professionals since they work at PetCo. I signed the waiver and was told by the tech that I would get a call in 1-2 hours as soon as he was completed. I dropped him off at around 9:20am something since his appt was at 9:30am. I verified my phone number which was correct. I went to run some errands. I became very worried as the clock was telling me 3 hours had passed. I decided to call at 1:12pm, called 3 times and no answer. Finally the 4th time was answered. I asked for my puppy's update, the lady on the phone told me he had been completed a while ago and sounded confused so she asked me if no one had called me. I was very frustrated but didn't say anything other than asked how long ago had he been completed. She asked someone else who gave her a quick response for the answer she gave me (I could hear) She told me he had been completed a while ago BUT the tech had noticed some hair in some areas and decided to retouch him. I became very irritated as I could tell she was lying to me. I head over get there at 1:20pm check my puppies ticket which stated he had been completed at 12:20pm, I request to have my puppy back I could hear a loud painful cry when she was back getting him. I moved to look through the window and she comes out with my puppy. He was not acting like himself, he was very calm which has never been for the 5 months he has been alive. I request a copy of the waiver I signed and they refused. I go to pay and request it again and same excuse to not give me a copy. When in the car my puppy's eyes kept closing and opening like if he wanted to sleep but would try to stay up and move, but wasn't able to stand by himself. We got home and he just laid on a corner, wouldn't acknowledge his toys or our home like he normally does with all his energy. That's when I realized they most likely gave him a calming chew which I did not agree to or was informed, if this is on the waiver I was not given a copy to read it, nor given time to read it before I signed. He did not being to act like himself until around 6:30pm.

This location is always clean, has a super friendly staff, and a great dog trainer. One of the employees in the reptile area was surprisingly knowledgeable even though the species I had questions on wasn't super common, so I know they have good standards on who they hire. Finally, not exclusive to this location, but significant to note that the Pet Pals reward program has some pretty good deals. At least a couple times a month I end up getting $5 coupons between all my pet supply purchases.
