Wish this little park was much larger. There is a short distance of access to the Mokelumne River, a small campground, picnic tables and BBQs throughout. Its main use is as an outlet for rafters coming down from the fish hatchery at McIntire Road. Large parking lot for this purpose.

Place is beautiful and serene when no one's there...uhhh when people are there, it is what YOU and others make it. I ended up there due to Camanche Reservoir being full, came there, paid $6 buck, and just enjoyed a nice time by myself. There was enough space for me to be off to myself. Highly recommend.

Beautiful scenery great spot for beginner kayakers not too rapid. Even seen bald eagles in the wild for my first time ever! Loved it!

Lots of parking and cars seem pretty safe to leave to go up the river. Pretty clean area and good place to get on and off the river with your kayaks or canoes.

Rode my bike through park. It was kinda rustic. Roads a little rougher, more dirt than pavement. Not complaining just saying. Lots of shade and near water so cooler. I'll just say if your in Chico might want to check it out. However, you probably wouldn't miss out not going there. Lol I had a good ride through the park.

Pretty good spot to go with the fam. The waters clear & COLD. Lots of shade and picnic tables to hang out at. Not to far of a walk from the parking lot.

Great launch for boards or kayaks and good day use for small kids who need wading areas.Picnic area: Picnic area is a large, grassy area but not on the river

After mak8ng my payment, I was trying to enjoying the park with my Grandaughter and my leashed dog and the people that live their have German Shepards that are in the yard and if they decide they want to hop that fence they can. They were throwing such a aggressive barking fit towards us I had to leave because I didn't feel safe at all. There heads easily poke over the wobbling fence. Ya we left. Not comfortable at all.

Its a very beautiful river. you can walk, put canoes in here, barbecue, or swim. There were some porta potties in December, but they seemed to have taken them out. I think you can fish here in January. There wasnt too much water in December, but in the summer it will be a perfect place. Lots of shade.

We arrived at the site, parked and walked to the river.Sadly the place is still closed because of the Virus, we were informed by the couple who is the Parkhost. They are simply awesome! Very friendly, helpful and they answered all of our questions! And they have the cutest dog too!we will be definitely back to spent the day there as soon as it is open again!

Just an ok spot to access the river from. Self parking is $5.00, and is on the honor system. You leave an envelope in a post. The river is a couple hundred yards down a dirt path. There are probably fewer than 10 picnic tables and BBQ grills there, so get there early to get a spot. From there, access to the river is just a couple of feet down a small slope. Didn't go in the water so I don't know how deep it gets. Shallow near the banks, though.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It was very unprofessional and honestly I felt it to be a little discriminatory. You see my family came today to celebrate my brothers birthday and we didn’t even get to enjoy any of it as we were kicked out right when we got there. My brother and sister got there before the rest of us and everything was fine, but when we got there my brother had come back up to the parking lot to get the rest of our stuff and he was stopped by the couple on a go cart and I couldn’t hear what they told him as I was in the car but after they talked with him they drove off and we continued getting our stuff, the couple then came back a second time this time more aggressive and the lady was cussing at my brother telling us to get out and to leave as they were “over capacity” but my brother and them were already there before any of this over capacity stuff happened and we were trying to explain that we were with the people that were already down by the water but she just continued yelling at us to get out and that she doesn’t care not even giving us a chance to explain and the worst part is that there were more people coming in and they didn’t even say anything to the other cars which made us upset even more and in the end we left. So I wouldn’t recommend coming here honestly because they were just completely rude and unprofessional.

Water was refreshing! Plenty of parking and free use of life vests.

The host of this sight is ignorant, rude, and has no idea what he is doing.I brought my 9 month pregnant wife here to relax. no one was there when we arrived so we drove down thru OPEN GATES towards the river. We were there for over 3 hours and no one came down to say anything to us.When we were leaving the host suddenly got in his golf cart and blocked us as we were heading out.He said we were not allowed down there and that we needed to pay.I said that was fine and I also stated that there are no signs saying the area is off limits and the gates were open and he was not there to ask where we can go. he then said "I HAVE TOLD YOU BEFORE NOT TO GO DOWN THERE"AGAIN, this is our first time here... now I know this man has no idea what he is taking about, so at this point I know he will not listen. He then said we were no longer welcome there and to never come back.So go to this park if you want to be discriminated and lied to.I do feel bad for his wife having to deal with such an unpleasant person.

I'm disabled Eastbay M.U.D. allows people close access to the water to launch you raft, kayak, inner tube, after 6 hours negotiating the River a little hard in some places but not bad. You get to this park after 4 to 6 hours on the water. You have to get your vessel up the bank then if it has gear in it. You have to carry or drag your boat a1/4 mile to the parking lot. I had fun on the water I had a back spasm that dropped me on the path up to the parking lot. A BIG THANK YOU TO THE SECURITY OFFICER WHO ASSISTED ME TO THE PICNICK TABLE AT THE TOP OF THE PATH. AND FOR HAULING MY KAYAK UP TO THE TRUCK. 9/12/20 1600HRS. but this would not have happened if vehicles were allowed to go down to the take out area to retrieve boats and equipment. My only complaint otherwise the park was closed do to the WU-FLUE so I couldn't check anything else out about this place

This place is so worth the five bucks day use. Great views of the Mokelumne River, picnic tables and grills, and tent camp sites. You can fish along the river while still being shaded by large trees. Very nice camp host and plenty of parking. Close to fish hatchery if you want to try the EBMUD day use up river to combine a full day. Rafting and kayaking is also popular here.

It's fun I guess but myself, I prefer a pool because of what creatures are in the creeks, rivers, lakes & oceans. Lol the kids do enjoy it though. I've heard it's really fun to go rafting or tubing down. I haven't tried that yet.

Day use looked nice but the camping spots were terrible. The ones by the river were closed and the only ones open were in the high winds and had no drinking water. We were there in December... Opted for another park but may return later in the year during steelhead season.

I pick up the returned life jackets from the kids don't float containers. Helping Clements fire dept. When we can. Stillman is closed for day use but good for kayakers exiting from EBMuD Moekuleme River Day Use Area. Security officer Andy.

Ok place to get in the water to use a SUP. But the picnic area is very dirty. This could be a jam if the park spent about 3 hours a week cleaning the park. So sad.
