Weird vibe with the employees and managers, I had an interaction with all levels of employees while choosing to shop there, Someone who stated they were management was the awkward part of my experience probably due to to my openness regarding the "corporate " grind, I don't blame the manager, I don't blame the employees as I appreciate everyone's service, I blame the corporation. I blame the way the corporation creates this vibe there, I am reminded of why I don't choose to shop there.

Very disappointed in the bakery department. After I pick up the $60 cake they pretty forced me to buy I will never order a cake there again. They wouldn’t do a simple cake with a boy toy and a girl toy. Even tho I was going to pay for the toys. Forced me to pay for a design that they had no pictures up front of. Your just supposed to know what they have. The employees being very rude is the reason we do not shop there. Do better!!

This place is so wrong, it says they close at 1am. I was there at 11:43 and they closed the doors in about 30 peoples faces. They literally shut the door on a woman's hand that was their for diapers. We asked for the manager and was told that they were calling the cops on us. Don't ever go there.

Prices way to high. Clean, friendly and well stocked. Did I say prices were high. It's like shopping at a BIG mom and pop store, their prices are high. All in all, I still shop there. They are the biggest grocery store. I am grateful for the Safeway.

Safely safe Safeway used to be a Safe Place. But as of Late ... Safeway in it's self is good for the sales they have from time to time. With the way food prices are now I have to find the best deal possible. I like to shop later at night when it's a little quieter and small crowds. The only complaint I have is if you plan to shop at this Safeway late at night be prepared for the rude comments from the employees there who don't have the same views I do about small crowds and not a lot of chaos. The check out personal have no problem talking about people coming in say very rude opinions about customers they really no nothing about. VERY unprofessional. Corporate should give these certain individual employees some type of social training. Not all of them are rude but the one that are make there voice heard.Thank you

You can watch them make sushi around lunchtime... Noon. You can have Veggie sushi customized. I like the avocado 🥑 sushi. Ask for soy sauce. They have great products.

Way overpriced and they scam you with sales that don't work at register. Last time I was there to get ground beef. 2-1 sale. At register it didn't ring up. I asked the cashier and she rudely said it didn't have a sticker. I went back and was told no meat workers. After leaving area I came back by when I saw someone stocking meat. He was rude when saying he was tired of customers. They had GB next to sign but was not sale package??? They constantly do this.

I grew up with Safeway and I will ALWAYS shop there and their Deli makes the BEST SANDWICHES!! THE STAFF ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, FROM THE " CUT ROOM ", TO THE BAKERY, TO THE CASHIERS/BAGGERS, ETC. I enjoy the cleanliness and how I never have to worry about any food items being sold past their expiration dates. 👍👍👍👍👍

Safeway is a great place to shop on $5. Fridays. They always have a nice dessert for $5. And you can get a nice Bouquet of Flowers for $5. as well. Gave them 4 stars due to pricing on their items that are not on Sale .

Again this is another bad place to get out of the car at in lake county there homless , tweekers . and people nodding out all over this place our car got broken into while in the store , someones enjoying a new suit case full of my clothes and the local police was worse than the people not only was they no help at all but these lames pulled me over after leaving the parking lot for for a cracked tail light worst trip ever

The place is old and run down and just feels gross. Employees are mostly very nice though. Deli sammiches are excellent but long long wait. Donuts pretty excellent too

Deli workers are friendly and make excellant sandwiches. They are upbeat and awesome. Checkers are friendly and very good baggers. If you ask a worker for help they are on the spot.Safeway Clearlake is clean and they have excellent selections. The Deli department is one of the best.

Good to get in and out especially with self check out and 15 limit groceries line! Sometimes there is line and maybe 7 min wait or less and your out and set to feed the family for however many days u bought for!!

Clean and well stocked with fresh produce, meat department has great selection, grocery and general merchandise shelves mostly full with plenty to choose from.However, 8 pieces of chicken for $9.99 is high especially when the quality is lacking. I bought all dark meat. I couldn't eat the leg, dry and tough. The thighs were undersized and tasteless. The good part was the young man who waited on me. Friendly and helpful but not sure which pieces were considered dark meat. Made my day~

I like the sales prices, the employees are friendly and the store manager is always hard at work. One example is yesterday when I was searching for horseradish for Christmas dinner's prime rib. The horseradish that was for sale was out of stock so I went to the back and saw the store manager who was working with another employee in the stockroom but she took the time to tell me where to find the fresh horseradish.

The staff here are great. Good selection of food, great selection of beer. I still can't get over the fact though that Safeway card members pay one price and somebody else pays another price. I don't think that's good business personally
