We moved to the area several months ago and Mendo Mill is our local go-to for our immediate home needs. In each visit we have been able to find what we are looking for, with the selection being adequate to meet our needs. We have found the the customer service to be friendly, helpful, and personable. On more than one occasion we have found an associate help us troubleshoot issues and come up with a solution. Generally, immediate needs can be met by stopping by and shopping. Unfortunately, Mendo Mill is a bit expensive and we will go up to Ukiah for Home Depot if we have time and/or have a more complicated need or tool purchase.

Mendo Mill & Lumber Co. is terrible. The staff is rude, especially the male staff. The prices a horribly inflated. The only reason I give it a star at all is so I could leave a comment.

It a good place for things you need for your home, garden whatnot. Can't complain. Better options at time than Walmart sometimes. It not cheap cheap but it helps me to get what I need.

This is the ACE hardware in Clear Lake and is a combination of fantastic selection, incredibly helpful staff and solid prices. Every time I go I end up getting everything I need, and importantly not needing to do a 2 hour round trip to the nearest Home Depot. Highly recommended.

There is always something that I need to get for my house and for me being not the greatest guy to fix plumbing and my hot water heater I always go here because there always someone the who know what I need to do or the parts all need to get it done. I thought there was only one size of copper line I would need boy was I wrong there are many. I wish I could remember the name of the guy that help me but he was very knowledgeable and didn't make me feel like an idiot. There all so nice there and they had everything I've ever needed. I know there not many places to go here and thank goodness they don't know that. Thank you everyone!

The store absolutely sucks. They never have any of the items that they claim to have online. They only want me to use their online platform when I don’t have a good enough connection to be able to just go online and order stuff I live out in the country and so I have to look up what it is I need to get before I come into town and three out of the four times I’ve come to this location they did not have items that they claim to have online inventory is very inconsistent and a lot of bait and switch happening at this location. I have also noticed the prices for mostly chemicals are astronomical and anywhere from 4 to 6 dollars more expensive than I can get at Walmart or any other hardware store. Everything is almost 25% to 60% markup shop here with caution.

I love coming into this store! Everyone is so helpful, and HAPPY ! If you have a question, they have the answer! They want you to get excellent results, whatever the project may be.This is good old fashioned service with a smile! I get my Foxfarm soils there, and I always enjoy the checkout process because this store has some of the BEST cashiers I've ever had the pleasure to interact with. I appreciate the great service and the wonderful employees. Keep up the great work!

It has great sales especially if you open an account under your information. Register online or at store. Building your credit by points with each purchase. its nice to know you can get funds off a purchase.

There isn't enough variety in product's and the staff is only quazi friendly. Its one of the only options for hardware in the city of Clearlake and that shows in their price point as most everything is grossly overpriced.

We freaking LOVE this place! They have been instrumental in the building of our new home in this area. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They love our dog (he gets SO MANY Treats when he goes in with us! THANKS!!), and they remember our names. (Cheer's anyone?! Haha!) Selection is decent, if these guys don't have it, they can order it.

The employees are the rudest! Asked an associate about a part for my dad's leaf blower, obviously I didn't know and that's why I was asking for help. This associate not only laughed at me to my face but when I walked around the corner in a different isle he proceeded to make fun of me to one of his coworkers. I mean come on its not like he's anything to brag about he's a clerk at a hardware store not a genius by any means. And how dare you make fun of someone for asking a question. I didn't bring my hard earned money in that store to have some geek try to to make himself feel superior by trying to put me down. Not gonna work on me!

Great customer service, diligent, helpful, knowledgeable, polite & professional employees-- there was an incident one time, when i had paid at customer service register--just moments before closing time-- and left, not realizing i had only one of the two of my bags of purchased items... well, actually, it turned out that the other purchased items had not even been bagged, and had been set to the side-- PLUS, i had also decided against* buying a few items which had to be cancelled from purchase, i believe-- ) Yet, the Mendo Mill employee working the following day's shift called the customer service employee to inquire about those items, and had figured everything out before i even called about it, and had everything there waiting for me-- that kind of diligence and attention in customer service, and in general, is very much appreciated!
