Stayed here overnight for a business trip. Front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave me a spare key after I locked myself out. The room was very clean and pretty quiet for being right next to the highway. Only complaint would be how bright the overhead lights in the walk way are, they shined through the window covering at night and lit up the room quite a bit. Also, definitely visit the Chinese food restaurant in the same parking lot. Will be staying here again next time I’m in town.

I would like to give a MASSIVE shout out to this place, and especially Vic. We ended up getting stranded because of this freak storm, and this was where we holed up until we could travel. Vic was so amazing. He got us a room immediately, and was so sweet and understanding. When the power and phones went out, he let us use his personal cellphone to call our family. The rooms were clean, warm, and comfortable. Thank you for everything, you made an emergency situation not only tolerable but enjoyable!

The young man Vic who checked us in was extremely polite and helpful and very friendly even though they're short staffed . There's a Chinese restaurant next door with reasonable prices as well as a Chevron extra mile gas station /convenience store and a little strip plaza with a Mexican restaurant and a laundry mat etc....The hotel is pet friendly too which is rare around here and it's also very quiet . The rooms are large and clean and comfortable with large bathrooms , TV , ac , fridge , microwave , an ironing board and iron , blow dryer , small coffee pot , remote ceiling fan, as well as a very comfortable roll away bed . Very nice place to stay and will definitely be staying there again.

A surprising perfect motel! Last minute we needed to get 3 hotel rooms, preferably together and the owner and staff were extremely accommodating. The rooms were upgraded, clean and really comfortable. The upgraded suite even had a jet tub - bonus! They had a mini continental breakfast that the kids enjoyed to the fullest. Their pool was fun to enjoy during the day with the warm weather and next door was a yummy restaurant. If we are ever out this way again, this would be the place to stop. Big thanks to the owner for being so accommodating to us this weekend.

My friend just had her wedding down the street and we got several rooms here. They were very accommodating even leaving lots of extra towels for us in the rooms we were getting ready in. They had cable and fridges and microwaves, something you rarely see now adays. They had all the doors open to air out at one point of the day so the rooms were all fresh not stale. The remodel is Really nice. One of the best hotels in the county.

I love it here. The staff and manager are wonderful and It's very clean and to tell you the truth, It's the best I have seen in lake county or any were else I have been in the area. I just had a woman come by and asked if I would like coffee, my mouth is still open. There's even a pool.cable, fridge microwave The location is great and the price is right. It's wonderful. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I can’t thank Vik & Rubi enough. We accidentally shattered the back window of our car at 10:30 at night (bike rack metal clip got shut between the back window and trunk). Vik & Rubi were beyond helpful. They helped us get the glass out, then got their wet/dry vac and got out all the remaining pieces of glass out of the car and trunk. They then duct taped the back window with garbage bags so that we could get back home the next day, a 2-2.5 hour drive. We offered them tips multiple times but they wouldn’t accept. They asked that we pay it forward by making a donation to a good cause, so we gladly donated to California Fire Foundation. I have honestly never met kinder people. They didn’t have to help us but they did, and they did it out of the kindness of their hearts. My husband and I will never forget them because that sort of kindness you don’t often come across. Thank you Vik & Rubi! We will always recommend you and give your our business when we are out that way.Also, the motel is in really good condition. The rooms are kept up very nice and the beds are super comfortable. Actually the whole property is in great condition.Oh and one more thing, when we checked in we realized that I had accidentally made a reservation for a room with a king bed, when I meant to get 2 beds because we had our son with us. We had gotten there late but we were super lucky they had a room with two queen beds for us, and changed it with no extra charge.

When I stayed here with my sister we were in their handicapped room. Which was very nice as I am in a power Wheelchair. The first thing that scored points with me was the entrance to the room it was easy to wheel in and out. I have stayed other places that really jolted my chair and will not go back to that place. The handicapped shower is awesome the seat has a nice cushion for comfort, and the water pressure and temperature is the bomb too!!! If I needed extra towels no problem. And their breakfast in the morning pretty darn good too. I had planned to stay only 1 night but comfy bed,the great staff we decided to stay another night. I definitely would Lake Point Lodge 9 out of 10 stars

You can tell they are improving the property. Getting ready to paint the building. The beds were new and comfortable. The rooms have been renovated. Clean and smell free. Pool very clean, small, but my grandson loved it. The night manager was very helpful. There is a restraunt, with full bar on site. Quiet. Happy trails.

The Lake Point Lodge has a lot going for it, but some might not think it justifies the $100 a night price tag. The lodge is ideally located on Highway 20 at the southeast corner of Clearlake. It is only a few minutes from the Clearlake Oaks boat launch. And you have a gorgeous view of Mount Konocti from the lodge. So there is value in the location.On the other hand, I tend to expect a hotel at the hundred dollar price point to offer a warm breakfast. The lodge only offers a continental and the selection was very limited. The only available beverages were coffee, orange juice, and milk.The rooms were recently updated and actually are quite cozy and comfortable. The bed was reasonably comfortable but nothing special. But at least it wasn't uncomfortable. The shower had good water pressure and was nice and warm. However, apparently the shower was very steamy because it's set off the smoke detector in my room!The staff was quite friendly and check-in and check-out went quickly and smoothly.

The pictures on line are not accurate. This property is a dated motel with no amenities. Although being told my room could accommodate 3 people I was charged additional for my daughter. The bathroom are small, the room is creepy and even though these are outside rooms, fellow guest; from partying teenagers, to meth addicts kept me up all night long.

Clear room, caring staff.Lots of parking including boats with electric to charge batteries...Vik & Ruby are great host, very friendly and helpful!This is a pet friendly hotel with small fee for fido staying in comfort too.I travel solo and feel safe here, would highly recommend staying here!

I have come to this area to work several times now over the last year for approximately 1-2 weeks each time. This is the only place I want to stay now. This place is clean, conveniently located, with a friendly staff, and gas and food close by. There is a good desk to work at and room for field gear too. Beds are really comfy and so welcome after a day in the hills!I've tried at least five other accommodations around the lake in the last year.....don't bother. Prices are super here compared to the rundown, sketchy, places along the Lakeshore, where you feel like checking on your vehicle several times in the night and will pay more for an uneasy night.It's also a family business. 😀

We've found a new hotel! We were very happy with Lake Point Lodge and we will definitely be back.The rooms were clean and at a decent price and the beds were comfy. We stay in the area 8-10 times a year and only ended up staying here because we simply got disgusted with the rates for the dump of a hotel down the street.

The entire facility is clearly in need of an "update" but everything was very clean and maintained. This is the best option I could find in the area, including the town of Clearlake itself. Don't expect anything fancy, but it's a perfectly adequate room for a decent rate. Minifridge and microwave included. Surprisingly good TV selections. The shower is a big disappointment though.

Our room was nice and clean and a lot nicer than a couple of years ago when we stayed here. The curtains and carpet coukd be uodated, and the shiwrr head was low and Im shirt so I loved the awesome water pressure on my back. I slept like a baby. We did not stay for continental breakfast so I'm not sure how that was. The a/c was ice cold and the proprietor was friendly. Room 108.

The Lodge is in the middle of a renovation, but the service and room accomodations were excellent. Could have a wider selection of food (bread/toast) at the continental breakfast and the fruit loops were stale. the front desk attendant was courteous and attentive.

My bathroom sink had a hole in it and there are cigarette burns on the bathtub,The beds are really uncomfortable. I woke up early to get breakfast and they lied there was no breakfast. 2 kinds of cereal and bread next to a toaster is not breakfast. It was a very disappointing experience.

My mom needed a place to stay after a house fire in late 2020. The folks at this hotel hooked her up with a discount room and with their experience with wild fires they knew how to get her in touch with the Red Cross, who were already active in the area.

The chain on our lock had been broken before and someone used pieces of a grocery bag and tied the chain back together. That was our security. I got to say it was pretty strong i tugged on it but it would not of stopped someone from entering. But from the looks of it neither did the chain. Pool was closed. In the summer time big drag. Burns in the carpets.

Clean, close to lake, Thai restaurant next door. Non-smoking room smelled of marijuana in the bathroom. Smoke detector, dismantle detection, and related agreed upon $200 fine would stop addicts from abusing the facilities of the motel. Nice motel otherwise.guidepost.us
