Don't buy your fish here. I came in three days in a row and saw the same dead fish rotting in the tanks. One corpse had been there so long on the bottom it was nearly nothing but bones, and there was only 2 sickly angel fish on their last legs in the tank so no, it wasn't eaten. Within the tanks at least 8 showed definitive signs of either ich or epistylis, if you buy fish here your entire tank will be infected. Ich is a highly contagious fish disease and epistylis is caused by POOR MAINTENCES AND WATER QUALITY LIKELY FROM ALL THE DEAD BODIES.They have ich remedies readily available on the shelves, I checked, and they aren't used. They also have nets to clean the corpses out of the tanks as well, but choose not to. When staff is alerted to the mass floating corpses, nearly one in every tank, several tanks with 2 or more, the response is always "oh that just happend and we haven't cleaned yet" or "not my job". They are very blatantly lying in the first statement, as I came three days in a ROW and saw the same dead loach and angel fish, and show just general disregard and malace with the second.They may just be fish, but it's morally wrong to make them suffer due to your negligence and laziness. It's also bad business practice to sell diseased fish to customers. The management at this location clearly does not care to ensure the employees hired care much, nor do they seem to care themselves. So just a word of advice, don't buy your fish here. In the photo attached is a piece with either ich or epistylis.Pecos, nor any other tropical fish, naturally have white spots all over them and exhibit flashing regularly.

I was coming to the Pet Hotel for a couple years because my dog was comfortable with the staff and he really came out of his shell. My dog was used as a fighting dog and I was able to rescue him from that life. Finding a place where he isn’t so defensive with new people and other dogs is hard to do. I started him off in individual play while he stayed at the hotel. I used to train dogs so at home I worked with him on getting comfortable around dogs in a group setting. When it was time I reached out to the hotel and the trainer to introduce my dog into day camp. When I picked him up I was ecstatic because the trainer said he did great and recommended putting him in day camp whenever he stayed in the hotel. This was such a relief because I always felt guilty leaving him at the hotel when I went away for work because I knew he only had individual playtime with the staff. Now this was his opportunity have a more enjoyable stay and hopefully help ease his anxiety when in a cage overnight. The following weekend I dropped him off and told the lady working there that he does group play now. Her response was well let me check for any notes. She didn’t find any notes and proceeded to tell me she will ask in the morning about him being put into group play. I’m assuming she thought he was in individual play because of his breed. I explained to her I used to work for PetSmart Pet Hotel and that his breed his acceptable in the playroom but had him in individual play because of his background. She wasn’t educated enough on the policy so she gave me the same response. I was irritated but it was no biggie so I decided to call in the morning to make sure my big guy gets his play time. I call again the next day to make sure he gets his group play and a gentleman assured me he would get his playtime. Okay now I’m at ease and happy that he gets to enjoy the stay at the hotel fully. Monday comes around and I usually pick him up before work but I decide to let him stay so he can have playtime with other dogs. PetSmart closes at 9 and I get out of work at 8 so I get there before close thinking my dog had a full day of play. Upon picking up my dog I ask the associate how his playtime went. She notifies me that the whole time my dog was there he didn’t get the appropriate play time. I don’t have any kids but I felt the emotions about to pour out of me. I acted calmly hoping they would make it right somehow. All they could offer was a poor attempt at an apology. Since then I have never been back. I am sad that I lost trust in the hotel staff but not too upset about not coming back. Additionally, that weekend of my dogs stay I was also notified there will NO LONGER be any overnight hotel associates. Meaning that dogs staying overnight will be by themselves without any supervision. So, if you have any pets with any health concerns please stay away from PetSmart Hotels so that they may receive any attention needed overnight. I pray no one else has this experience and hope things change for the better.

I prefer petsmart over petco. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable. I was a first time doggy mom so I didnt know if I should get canned dog food or dried. One of the male Employees recommended dried. My dog has never been happier.

This location is always clean and fully stocked. The employees are really nice and knowledgeable. They still have plenty Christmas toys for your fur babies.

My puppies loved this place , we had them in doggie day care for a week. The people that work here are kind and condisiderate and they take good care in the dogs and communicate well with us. We also used them to keep our pups over night twice and my dogs have been happy and played, rested and ready yo get home at the end of the day. Will be happy to use their services in the future as they are reliable 😀 😊

Grooming department would not allow me to book my dogs appointment appt. Using the app, when calling the store itself and speaking to one of the associates they proceeded to make the appt. Discuss vaccination update and then put me on hold and had the manager Bryan tell me that I could not book an apt. He said he did not know why and had no reason then said because my dog COULD be aggressive or complaints which has never been the case. My dog did not care for one of the groomers his last visit when she called me she said my DOg was vicious and attacked. He has been seen there numerous times and never once have I've been told any of those things told me. I have even referred business to them and now they won't even book my dogs appt. With no reason as to why. The manager literally said I don't know why just cause. They actually wanted me to take my business elsewhere and I will also be taking the family and friends business with me. When I asked for corporate number Bryan the manager said well they are just going to send you back to me. The professionalism or I should say lack of professionalism is ridiculous. You would think a business noow a days would want to retain customers and have a legitimate reason as to why they can no longer service your need instead of saying I don't know. Again, they can see my dog has never had an issue. I can show all his after visist cards. He never has bite anyone or attacked anyone his entire life. If I could give their grooming department zero stars I would. They have lost my, my family and friends business and for no reason at all other than I don't know.

Purchased kitten food for a new kitten. I bought the type he was used to and the one I wanted him on to transition but he took to the new food right away and PetSmart refunded the more expensive one with no problem.

I love pr petsmart, everyone is very nice, and helpful. Love bringing my girls here to pick out their toys, leashes and collars.. And the girls love coming along to get an extra treat at the register!!

I have to revise my 5-star to 1-star due to the grooming staff being so rude and doing a horrible job on my doodle. I called out that the cutting was uneven and they blamed my dog for not being cooperative. This is not my dog's first time there, and there's been no issue previously. I told them that I won't be back and they said it's fine in my face.

DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOGS HERE!! My 1 year old dog died from ASPIRATION PNEUMONIA in their PetsHotel. Cynthia Lucaro obviously doesn't know what she's doing. I left all 3 of my dogs (Kai, Suri, Dee) at boarding with PetSmart on September 8th. I got a call on 9/13/21 @ 9:45am that Kai was showing symptoms of kennel cough so they isolated Suri and Kai since they were staying together. The manager said they were taking Kai to the vet, but ensured me that Suri was "fine" and was herself. She also said that Kai was acting okay, making it seem like his symptoms were mild. Dee was separate from them and they didn't isolate him and they said he was okay. Next morning 9/14/2021 at 10:30am the other manager called. He said he was calling from the PetsHotel. My heart dropped. He said something along the lines of Suri was found this morning and had passed on. I yelled "what?". He said yeah, the other manager and staff took her to the vet to confirm that she died. They downplayed the other two's symptoms and wouldn't confirm that they were sick. And for Suri to go from "fine" to dead in 24 hours??? PURE NEGLIGENCE. PNEUMONIA HAS SIGNS. The manager didn't staff anyone overnight??? She was apparently the last one to see her ALIVE until she was discovered dead the next morning by one of the workers. My poor baby died SUFFERING and ALONE because of you.

This is our local PetSmart and when shopping for four furry babies, we're there quite often. They have a good selection and clean store. What's lacking? Their customer service. You can walk by at least two associates upon entering the store, and NOT one associate acknowledges your presence. No, I'm not a needy person, but I suppose my expectations are too high. I still value good customer service, and IF you have to work in the service field, why not make it pleasant? After all, we're all at a pet store because we share a love for our pets.

This is definitely one of the nicer PetSmart stores. The premises are clean and well kept. While the store feels a little short staffed at times, the employees make up for it with a friendly attitude.I've been to the Banfield hospital here once. While my experience was mostly positive, there seemed a little bit of an upsell with their medications. The doctor was pleasant at the time of my visit.

I went today to go buy my cat his food and treats and went up to the cashier to pay and honestly found her really rude. I usually never have an issue with cashiers and never feel the need to complain but was upset by Meryl specifically. When I put my stuff down by the register she was unable to reach and I brought it closer so she didn’t have to stretch over for it and said sorry and she just looked annoyed. Then I pulled out my coupon and she asked if it was a screenshot so I said yes and then she said she needed to see the original email. I took a screenshot because in the past I’ve had poor reception while in the store. This has never been a issue before but she insisted on it despite there being someone behind me in line. So I find the email and she asks if I’m using my account or someone else’s??? Never been questioned like that before. When I finally find the email and show her and she points towards the button on the email that gave me the scan code. It was the exact same as the screenshot that I had. Not a good experience and will not be returning to this location.

Today, I witnessed staff at the pet hotel be friendly with two customers and once the customers walked away...they laughed and criticized for asking questions or concerns about dropping off their pet. They were not pleased once I mentioned it to them..

This was a busy store. Employee were knowledgeable and friendly. Went in to buy cat food. Our brand was in short supply. If your hunting for Purina Fancy Feast I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Nice dog training area and Banfield pet hospital.

Never have any issues or complaints when I shop here. The associates acknowledge customers as soon as they walk in and aren't overbearing when you're perusing the aisles for your items. Everyone's super chill. Would definitely recommend this location & will be returning soon for my next purchase. 🤙🏾

Do not take your pet to be groomed here. I understand accidents happen, but you would imagine them cutting my dog's ear to the point where she needed to be taken to an emergency vet would make the staff more apologetic. Instead, they each told different stories as to what happened, did not even contact us until long after the accident happened, and did not understand why we were upset. The lack of competence and just empathy by the staff here is concerning when they are supposed to be people you trust with your pet.

Walnut Petsmart has the worst service it’s the only one the charges me a handling fee because the groomers aren’t patient I’m just gonna stick to my regular Petsmart in chino hills where the groomers and vet love seeing my dog and always give me good compliments when picking him up here they still charge a handling fee and can’t even groom him how I asked if they don’t like dogs and don’t have the patience then go find something else
