Their drive thru is awful. Two cars in front ofe and it's been 1/2 hour. I don't understand. I jumped out of the line and I was in and out with prescription in 5 minutes. Make this make sense.

This used to be a great pharmacy with 24 hour service. Now, they have limited hours and they screw up constantly and waste my time regularly. They also have a couple people working back there who are just rude to customers...not just me, in fact, usually not me...I've watched them with others while I waited in line for their bad service. Most recent screw up is they filled my 90 day prescription with only a 30 day prescription. Didn't tell me, and didn't do it as a partial fill. Because it was pre-bagged I didn't know until I got home and opened it up. Therefore, to fill the remaining 2 months will cost me 50% more in copays than it would have cost if they filled it correctly. Mistakes can happen, but this pharmacy makes them very frequently now. I get messages saying meds are ready for pickup, get there and they don't have them. Or they are promised for a certain time and they just fail to get it done. A lot of wasted time, gas and wear and tear on my vehicle last year...It's really gone downhill in the past couple of years. It may be time to transfer to CVS, RiteAid, Walmart, Amazon pharmacy, or some other pharmacy. I'm tired of having my time and money wasted by Walgreens employees who clearly don't give a rip about customers.UPDATE: They are out of my meds again. Placed an order 2 weeks ago. They just...cancelled it. Apparently it wasn't covered by insurance yet. So I waited longer, replaced the order...and they are out of stock on 2 of the 3. I'm out of meds...and most of their pharmacies are closed on Sunday now too (what they heck are they thinking, that is when many people are off work! they should absolutely be open on the weekend!) Decided today that I am for sure going to switch to filling elsewhere.

They are not on duty at 10pm to dispense medication. ER sent them prescription 10pm and the medicine a simple antibiotic bottle was not ready 12pm next day

Dylan, at the Dewey & Greenback location had horrible customer service! Did not seem to care about his job, took his sweet time, had attitude when I asked for a bag, and the list goes on. Didn't wanna give me boss's nae nor corporate's number & tried to switch name tag around before I could see "Dylan" was on the name tag. It's employees like Dylan that give Walgreens a bad rep/name. Y'all gotta do better.Monday, 02/05/24The lady at the register next to him was amazing (don't recall her name unfortunately). A little slow with speed but she had the complete opposite demeanor to her. Thank you Ms.

They denied taking a passport picture of my 6 years old son. ( we are not taking pictures of the kids!!! ). However, they took a passport picture of my daughter at the same age last year.

Awful customer service I came yesterday and they were short one of my prescriptions I told them that I'll come back tomorrow which is today and they have nothing available even after they text me telling me that all my medications were ready I don't understand the incompetency in a pharmacy

My eyes start to well up with tears as I consider how nice each and every member of the staff is. The chief beauty consultant, Loretta, offers her clients coupons she has clipped out of the Sunday paper to help them save money. I adore Walgreen's Pharmacy; in fact, the pharmacist there saved my child's life when he realized that a medication the doctor had prescribed was for a patient older than 12. The pharmacist recognized me and pulled me aside to discuss his main concern. He then assisted me in obtaining the required medication, which was FREE and not covered by insurance. What a fantastic staff.

If i could give this pharmacy a one star i would do it. One man there waa great he went above and beyond so stayed there for about a month. The actual pharmacist is the worst person i have ever dealt with, im a cancer patient and do take a lot of medication. Doctors changed my whole regiment to different meds. She refuses to release them to as i cry on the phone. Im a dying patient and she was the rudest person I've ever had to deal with. She shouldn't have a job, to top it all off she hung up on me. Didnt finish the conversation nothing just hung up on me, crying.

This is the worst pharmacy in the area. Every single month they screw up my prescriptions. Whether it be unfilled when it is hours after the expected fill time, long wait times on hold, out of stock medication, consistently I'm told I do not have any prescriptions to fill and have to argue with them to just look again... and to their surprise, I DO have prescriptions ready to fill. Hours of my time and gas I won't get back and not to forget how unbearably rude the regular guy is. I'm pretty sure I will no longer need blood pressure medication once I transfer pharmacies.

Every time I contact your pharmacy on behalf of our patients and providers, It is with disappointment that I address the ongoing issue of the lack of responsiveness and extended wait times experienced during phone interactions.As a medical assistant working closely with our doctor, it is essential for me to be able to communicate efficiently with pharmacies to ensure our patients receive the necessary medications and quality care they deserve. However, the consistent challenges encountered when contacting your pharmacy located at 6144 Dewey Dr, Citrus Heights, CA, have been a source of frustration and inconvenience.When attempting to reach your pharmacy, the most common scenario is that no one answers the phone despite numerous attempts. Alternatively, on the occasions when someone does answer, it becomes evident that I am being placed back in the queue every 5 minutes, leading to prolonged hold times of up to an hour. Such extended waiting periods greatly hinder our ability to serve our patients promptly and effectively.Effective communication and timely medication dispensing are vital components of patient care. Extended wait times and the inability to reach a pharmacy representative in a reasonable timeframe have significant implications for our patients' well-being and treatment plans. Customer service is a joke. Saw me coming and went on her little phone device without greeting me or letting me know what was going on. Scanned my packages without saying anything, just looking at me with a stank face. Only asked for my phone number but then interrupted me as I was giving it to her to help a kid. Okay Karen I hate customer service jobs too but that's why I got a DIFFERENT job :) not my problem you couldn't find a babysitter for your kid and had to bring him to work. Maybe try being nice to people and you'll get sympathy.

Staff is always professional. Great at the usual rx help, but extra on top of the small things like soft drinks, chips, summer time accessories, make up, magazines...you name it. I've never had a single complaint about this location since I starred swinging by in 2004. That's 5 star in my book.

This place can't do anything right. Every single prescription is not filled when promised and usually it takes multiple phone calls to have them follow theough with even filling it. Then they tell you to "call and confirm they will fill it and its not their fault." So call to fill it, get told a tome for pick up, call to confirm they are filling it, then call to confirm they filled it, then call to confirm they filled it? Thats seems like they just cant do their job if thats what needs to happen. Ahmed lies and I'm assuming he doesn't know how to read, because no one should be that stupid. It's appalling that he has a job when there are so many people with brain injuries that would love a job as well. This place should be shut down.

If you have a prescription for medication that needs to be taken every day I would highly suggest filling it elsewhere. I've been refilling here for 3 years and atleast once every other month there's an issue with refills. I call 3 days before my refill date to make sure things are ready. I get confirmation. Day of fill I drive there to pickup said medication, "I'm sorry but this is a rare medication and it will be here in 1-2 days." I ask why it wasn't ordered when I called to make sure you have it in stock. "Unfortunately, we can't check our stock until the medication is due" What? You guys don't have the capability to look and see if you have specialty meds I'm stock before their due date? There seems like a few simple remedies to prevent this error from happening but, doesn't seem like anyone cares enough to change this. There's also two fairly incompetent pharmacy staff members that work there. The conversations I've had with them over the years have been stress inducing to say the least. Costco a much better customer service option if you're local.

To pharmacy employees there: DO YOUR JOB CORRECTLY OR STAY HOME AND SAVE YOUR CUSTOMERS TIME!Their pharmacy staff s*cks so badly that it made me write my first one star review!!Every other time I pick up a prescription there they either mess up my orders or give out other people’s drugs (??!!) Not to mention that they are always super RUDE, lazy and unprofessional!Save your nerve cells and go to a different pharmacy!

As a doordasher, your employees should know our brand logo. I don’t appreciate going into your store, shopping my customers order, and being watched a followed as if I’m stealing. Especially when you can clearly see my BRIGHT RED BAG, and my phone with DoorDash open to scan the items in. Ridiculous. I also wasn’t the customer in the BATH section EVER that the manager was asking to be watched. 1 star. And this was always my go to Walgreens. Not anymore. Because now I’m seen as a shoplifter and I don’t even steal. I shop my DoorDash orders, PAY FOR THEM, and go about my day. Again, show all your employees the DOORDASH BRAND LOGO. We are NOT using our EMPLOYEE BAG to steal. Let alone stealing… this is our job, just as much yours. To the grey bearded man working graveyard shift. (December 15th 2am)

This Walgreens has the most Rudest pharmacy technicians. Ryan and Anew are the most Rudest ever ! They have no customer etiquette and talk to you like your worthless. Michael is the kindest pharmacy tech there. I dont recommend this pharmacy. Ryan and Anew need customer service classes. I don't recommend this pharmacy unless you have Michael helping you

6144 DEWEY DRCitrus Heights, CA 95621This store no following the rules and work hours specially the pharmacy it close at 8:30pm and it should to stay till 9:00pmI was waiting 2 days for my appointment with the Dr. So he can give me medication and today I told him to send the description for this location as this store the nearest store to me, I went at 8:30 and found the pharmacy close, when I asked the staff they told me: they are in short of employees that why they closed earlier.And people like me waiting them medication no problem stay with your pain to next day.In the end that’s a Garbedge store!!

After several bad experiences with the pharmacies at 2 of the Walgreens in Citrus Heights, my family and I are no longer doing any business with Walgreens stores. Here is our experience with this location.My daughter is immunocompromised. Due to a change in our insurance, we were told by the pharmacy they were waiting for some type of authorization and no further action needed to be taken on our part. We called everyday for a week and were not given a status nor resolution. This caused my daughter to feel distressed as she was close to running out of her prescription. We ended up transferring it to another pharmacy and it was filled within a few days. They even sent it to our house without a shipping cost.On another occasion, an employee would not administer the Covid-19 booster shot. My daughter's doctor advised her to get it. My daughter called me from the store. I told her to go back and explain she has a medical condition. The same employee sounded and was visibly annoyed by her return. His disposition and tone changed after the pharmacist confirmed she was eligible for the booster. He didn't acknowledge nor apologize for his mistake.

Wow! I came for the pharmacy to get something filled which is not covered by my insurance, the very considerate lady behind the counter recommended I sign up for goodrx. I did and it saved me 50% which was about $120. She did not have to do that, she did not have to care at all but she did. It was late on a Sunday which usually makes someone not want to be at work and therefore not care but she is happy and smiling.Good for her because service like this will get me to spend a couple extra minutes in the car to get to a Walgreens.

Every time I come here, there seems to be an issue with the pharmacy. Last time I came, I was picking up my prescriptions that were ready for pick up and instead of giving me prescriptions, the guy tells me that they would be cheaper over the counter because insurance doesn't cover them. Umm... was I asking you? He looks me up and immediately goes... oh, I'm sorry. I see that it does and is only $1 cost. Uhh... no duh. Then I call to refill them and go through the automated system and it says they are ordered. I never got a call to say that they're ready for pick up and I call again and the system tells me that I don't have any. I try to enter it again and it transfers me to a lady of whom tells me the EXACT SAME THING the guy told me. That it's cheaper over the counter. What is going on at this place? Do they not want to fill prescriptions??? What lazy and rude people they have working here.
