I visited this location two days in a row. The first visit was the epitome of excellence. Friendly/helpful customer service, easy product find, affordable, clean, etc. However, the second visit was so displeasing that it overahadows the first visit and warrants the one star. On our first visit, we were in need of a cat carrier and some insight into a health issue our cat is having. Success on both fronts!However, when we got back home (we do not live in Citrus Heights, we realized we could not put our cat carrier together because it appears, from the ever-so-subtle tears in the packaging, that someone has stolen the screws and nuts needed to hold it together (I wonder why). We instantly knew that we would have to return to the Citrus Heights PetSmart in order we to solve the issue. Of course, as a consumer, I'm aware of how important having a receipt as proof of purchase is. I also know that, from working retail, a barcode search and a little internal effort can also locate the same information.We approached the cashier (a short woman with reddish-brown hair) politely and explained the situation. We'd even brought back the carrier to show the evidence of theft. However, this particular Pet Smart representative was not in the least concerned about trying to solve the issue. She showed no compassion, understanding, or care. She must have reiterated 5-10 times that without a receipt (I had accidentally thrown out that morning), she "can't do anything." Regardless of the necessary parts being stolen, she refused to assist any further or offer any alternative solutions. She became low-key aggressive, as if she wanted the situation to escalate in front of the queue of people, which was now growing. I've never been the "Let me talk to your manager, now!" type, nor would I entertain her willingness to argue in front of my wife and child (or strangers). Her only cold apology came after I stated to my wife that we'll have to go to a separate hardware store for the necessary pieces, otherwise, the carrier will be useless. Terrible, terrible service, Pet Smart rep.We DID end up going to a well known home improvement store and received FANTASTIC customer service (which I'll be posting about momentarily). They had the right CAN DO attitude.Balance was restored ✨️🙏

There is an abundance of supplies at PetSmart for all of your loved ones needs, whether you have a cat, dog, bird, fish, hamster, and so on. They also have a Banfield veterinary hospital, a grooming salon, and you can even adopt a kitten at this wonderful establishment. Definitely check them out.

Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Several of them asked me if I finding everything ok as I walked in the store. The store is a pretty good size and offers a variety of products for pets.

Had to check that I wanted the surprise very friendly behind the counter helpful what can I say everything you need in a pet store except for high prices I'm just saying come on now come on man you got to be a millionaire to own a pet like come on seriously $20 for dog treats come on man I mean look I love my dog but I don't spend 20 bucks on treats for myself you know what I'm saying imagine going to imagine getting some cookies for $20 that's what I'm saying that's crazy okay I get cookies for two bucks three bucks why can't the dogs have cookies for two bucks 3 bucks hey bro cookies you know kind of boring atmosphere but that's cool I kind of like it when the pet stores have wild animals making noise like puppies playing and stuff and really fun if they got loose and they were knocking people over and just having a whole bunch of high Jinks well that's kind of more like a movie I guess his life a movie though sometimes that's Wonder let's think about that together comment down below if you have any ideas or things to add to the comet thanks for listening thanks for reading be joyful in life bring your spirit up sing smile bring your soul up don't let anybody break it down if they do you're a clown for letting them do it to you love everybody and love yourself good evening good day and good afternoon night.

Brought my puppy in for grooming. She came back with an ear infection and super itchy. Banfield confirmed that my dog got an ear infection from too much water in her ear. So they gave me a refund, then banned my dog from ever coming back. That’s fine there are tons of other groomers. My overall experience was that on occasion you will get rookie groomers that don’t know what they’re doing, or our brand new and the company as a whole obviously doesn’t want to take responsibility for mistakes they make.

This is my go-to dog grooming place, even though it's quite a drive for me. The grooming staff are really kind and gentle with my sensitive doodle, and prices are reasonable. I also really appreciate that I can usually get an appointment within 1 or 2 weeks at most, unlike most groomers in the area. They do not do specialty cuts here but for basic grooming they are the best.

I am always looking for new toys and ways to entertain my pup. There is seasonal merchandise that makes it fun to shop. Banfield Vet is amazing in my opinion. With as many people coming and going they still respond promptly on the phone and in person. Grooming is also available here.

Taylor in the grooming department is the best she takes amazing care of my dog! She is the best groomer ever! My dog is always happy and clean and smells like heaven after our visits. Luna loves going to the groomers now and it's all thanks to the love and care Taylor shows her. We are so lucky we found her!

I brought my 6month old puppy in was supposed to get flea treatment bath blow dry and flea treatment but I got a call saying my guy was extremely upset so please come get him .I paid for nail trimming bath blow dry flea treatment . He was soaking wet no nails trimmed and put flea treatment on as I was paying .I still had to pay full 75.00 for procedures not done .Can you explain why?this is Roscoe.

Friday 8/18 around 5:00 p.m. was my first time shopping at this location. My intention was to just look at fish {emphasis on just look}.😵‍💫 15 mins later, I'm out the door with a pair of Bettas, fish tank, ornaments, etc. I'm very happy with my purchase!! 😊👍So much so, I went back in the morning around 9:15 a.m. and went bonkers and bought another tank, more fish, and more ornaments.•Overall, the store layout is good.•There were enough parking spots on both days I went.•Staff was super friendly.•Seems like a popular place for dog grooming.Thank you for making my visit great!!! 🙂

The groomers have always done a great job with my 2 German Shepherds. One is a bit scared and they are able to keep him calm and clean him up pretty good. The sales floor always seems a bit under staffed, usually having to wait in a long line to get checked out.

Had the worst experience with the grooming team at this store. They cut all my dogs hair off and that was not the cut I asked for. Also they charged me extra without my knowledge and called it “departing” then they chipped my do with scissors I got him back with knicks all over his body. I paid for the most expensive wash and cut they did not clean his ears. They did not provide a bow like advertised and he smelled like they didn’t even wash him.

Love this petsmart, the staff there are very knowledgeable and friendly. They love seeing my little Daisy Mae and she loves the attention. We bought her this pumpkin costume it is a little small that's because it is for a bearded dragon and she is too small for guinea pig clothes. Lol

Waste of time. Took my puppy to be groomed and even called them before hand stating he was not of age yet to get one of his shots and the lady on the phone said it wouldn’t be a problem and scheduled me an appointment the next the day. When I arrived early morning for my appointment they stated they needed him to have his shot because he turned of age that very day and I stated I called and asked yet they said there was nothing they could do and was having problems with their call center when I directly spoke with a staff there, it made no sense how I got scheduled an appointment yet somehow the staff wanted my puppy to get his shot that very same day but wait 48 hours before they could groom him.
